Hotel is absolutely nothing like the pictures. Just beware. No parking available either, if you’re driving in. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. Also no cups in the rooms. Or anywhere in the hotel. Bring your own. However the nice man working the front desk “found” a cup and delivered it to my door. The effort was nice from him. That was to be the only pleasant experience at the Crest

They didn´t return my deposit. They didn´t clean me one day and they only told me trat ther didn´t clean themselves every day. On the second day I returned at night and the door was open. The safe was not working, it was reported and they never put a battery in it. I don´t recognize it.

Due to a 10 hour flight delay we did not arrive until 0630 the day we were to check out. We appreciated the fact that they held the room. It was dark when our taxi arrived and we could not see the hotel. No lit up sign. We tried to call but no one answered. We finally went to the door where the hotel was and it was locked. Luckily for us one of the guests was sitting on the steps smoking. She let us in with her room key and alerted the front desk employee (who was also outside) that he had guests. He was efficient and we quickly headed to the microscopic elevator and went to the 3rd floor. The web site showed a very nice “art deco” hotel. Ours had ancient paint, fixtures and furnishings. We had a black ceiling painted with pink and white cranes. Our bathroom walls and floor were painted forest green. Our sink faucet was a golden swan or crane. The paint bubbled up on our door and was chipping off in places. I laughed so hard that I am sure my endorphins went off the chart. The beds squeeked when you got in or turned over. The room was clean.I was so exhausted that I slept pretty good for the 2 hours before we headed to our ship. I give kudos to whomever designed the website. They are experts at making something look good. For the price paid I was truly disappointed, but grateful for a bed.

They keep the front, restaurant and main entrance looking very nice. Now the rooms are very outdated and have that old funky smell even though they clean very good it still lingers.LOL. But overall for the price and 3 day stay I would recommend.

I was worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but it was fine! Our room was small, bathroom was older and we didn’t have a view, but we didn’t come to South Beach to stay in our room! The location is amazing if you are going to a show at the Fillmore - it’s right around the corner. Lincoln Rd shopping is right around the other corner. Some of the reviews complained about not being able to get in touch with the front desk, but I called to confirm my stay earlier in the day and was immediately connected. The front desk was amazing and so helpful. Even the housekeeping was great and super attentive. I liked the old feel of the hotel and was kind of glad we didn’t have a view or many luxories because it stopped me from procrastinating and got me out and about quicker to enjoy super fun South Beach!

The location was perfect. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants! The hotel was nice, good housekeeping!! The king bed was comfortable and the pillows and linens in great condition. The lobby is accessible through the middle of the onsite restaurant, this was slightly confusing. Front desk staff sleeping at desk upon checkout (5am). We woke him up but he just said to leave the keys on the desk.

Location is good, close to Ocean Drive as well as to convention center/downtown area. Plenty of dining options on Michigan ave or Collins. Conveniently priced hotel. The best part is by far the nice and hardworking staff who really try their best to help you with anything you need.

Good location and friendly front desk staff. Funky/retro design and decor. Front desk staff were polite and friendly. The mattress was saggy and uncomfortable, definitely needs to be replaced. The TV in our room had a broken bracket so was hanging at an angle.

Was great for an overnight layover in preparation for a cruise vacation. Was just a little surprised at the $30 cleaning fee that was added when I checked in. Don't remember any mention of that when I booked online. Otherwise my stay was very acceptable.

Bad smell in room.They don’t have Colgate and in bathroom no hot waterThey took security deposit for no reasonThere is no beverage or water in the room and small fridge is empty.We are so upset.Worst experience don’t take this hotel.

I booked this hotel based on the provided photos and the 8.2 rating.This rat trap should be condemned. From the rude staff to the $80 per night off site parking fee to the room that looks NOTHING like the photos, I am appalled at the price point and that this hotel is even on the website. BAT AND SWITCH! The TV, phone, shower, shower curtain rod and hair dryer were broken. No screens on the windows. Being a holiday weekend we couldn't cancel nor find other accomodations. Credit card refused to help and hotels refused to stand by their misleading photos.

The hotel was very conveniently located around restaurants and shops and walkable places. The room was clean, but the sofa and carpet were filthy. And they didn’t provide parking. You had to find your own and pay for it..

Omg I could not say worse things about this hotel if I tried. I got there and was fully catfished the rooms looked NOTHING as they did on the site! Was really disappointed in how the staff handled the situation as well, offering me 0 alternatives.

Was disappointed this time , an extra daily charge was taken despite beach not being open and no daily clean, noisy skip collection at 0630 in morning and fire escape was locked blocked and cmi was locked out when i used stairs …
