“Took a friend of mine that I haven't seen in a couple years to MacDuffs, I used to frequent McCritters, and told him, same owners, people, I kinda knew that on Sundays no food is served. So I called, she said just Pizza's. Good enough. I knew I wouldn't see my regular waitress etc. Lo and behold I walk in and there's Dee, a bartender that worked at Mccritters!! My friend LOVED the pizza! What food that was at McCritters, is at MacDuffs. I knew that, but not my friend. So good seeing Dee again, atmosphere was excellent, food, clean bar, went out on the patio, so nice!!”

“This place is great. They have the best cookie dough blizzard/arctic swirl in the country. It's actual soft gooey cookie doe blended in and not the hard cookie doe balls that hardly have flavor like most places. I grew up in Pekin but have since been coast to coast and consider myself a blizzard connoisseur. I now live on the west coast but make sure to get my cookie dough article swirl every time I return.”

“My daughter and I visited here for the first time today. Would highly recommend the egg bakes - we both had the spinach artichoke one and we loved it. Coffee was good as well. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back!!”

“Everything is delicious & definitely the best ice cream / food parlor in Pekin. My only complaint is there is always a line & I feel that should have 1 girl/boy taking the orders & other staff preparing the orders. Service is slow cuz a person takes ur order & leaves to prepare…just holding up the line & time.some rude staff but know Mgr does her very best”

“Many of us locals have been supporting this business for a long time now and I believe the appreciation by the owner/s shows that with the low prices and superior food selection and quality all the way around. I especially like the vast variety of food choices and the hand dip ice cream station instead of the usual soft-serve that most places have. They were really thinking out of the box. Today I took my friend, Darryl out to eat at this Chinese buffet. He had never eaten such food and I figured it was time for him to escape from his comfort zone. He was very impressed and sure didn't step away from the table hungry. By the way the cherry on the cake was that they serve Mountain Dew. That is a must for Darryl wherever he dines. I had hot tea. Get on out and see for yourselves and spread the word.”

“Took our hungry wrestler here after a tournament and it was delicious! We had the lo mein, beef and broccoli and the spicy beef noodle soup. Portion sizes were huge, the appetizers were hot and fresh and the vegetables were fresh. We loved our waiter and the family atmosphere. Will definitely visit again if we are up this way!”

“Went with some friends on Wednesday night for Wing Night and was not disappointed. Ordered 10 mild wings that were crispy and had heat, but not much, and that's how I like em. Drinks were competitively priced, and the bar tender was super friendly. Great place with good atmosphere. Will be back this weekend to the band.”

“watered down 12.00 margaritas and didn't get what I ordered. Disappointed in our 60.00 meal for 2 (3 tacos each. 2 med margaritas they failed to add the tequila to?). When asked how everything was I told them and the girl just repeated back what I owed. Each time goes down hill... will learn our lesson this time.”

“I like the hole in the wall. Some people say it's a required taste but to me it's a place I can go where everyone knows everyone and no body bothers me when I go. It's a fun place to just hang out when you need somewhere fun to go. I personally think the employees and owner are very nice people. That's from my experience. Everyone's option is different about this place. So if you go keep that in mind.”

“Small town bar with pool tables and gambling machines. Very nice people. Not always super busy but has its moments. The employees are great and really nice. It's one of my favorite places to go when I need a little me time. It's the only bar I know of now days that sell lottery tickets. My grandparents bar and grill sold lottery tickets when I was growing up. So it reminds me of home. Thanks potties for being here”
