3. Enter the first four-digit code from your list
4. Try your TV Power button. If you get no response, try steps 1-3 with the next code on your list

Set TV input

Pair your Remote Control with Your TiVo Box

1. If you see this option, your remote can be paired to your TiVo via BT/RF signals. This is only available on 6 tuner and Mini 2 models
2. While on this screen, your remote should automatically start pairing within seconds. If not, press the TiVo and Back buttons together until the light at the top of the remote remains lit. Release the buttons and the light will blink yellow/amber while pairing
3. When the light stops blinking, press the TiVo button to return to the Home page
4. Press the blue Voice (microphone) button on the remote, to confirm the blue Voice icon appears on your TV screen. Your TiVo box is now Voice enabled
5. If this does not work:
   1. Go to TiVo Home| left arrow to Menu | Setting | Remote, CableCard & Devices | Remote Setup | Pair your remote to your TiVo Box | Reset Remote Control Pairing | Unpair All Remote Controls
      
   2. Press the TiVo and Back button to begin re-pairing

To enter IR mode:

• On the T6, touch the amber image of the remote control on the front of the DVR:
  
• On the MG2, the remote finder button is on the back of the DVR:
  
• When pressed, aTiVo jingle will play on the remote
• When you find theremote, press any button to deactivate thesound, or just wait 15 seconds for it to turnoff automatically

IMPORTANT:You will need both the paired remote and theDVR to perform a global reset. If your paired remotehas been lost or damaged, you will need to use a newremote in IR mode to put the DVR in a pairing state,then pair the new remote to the DVR. Overview

This article uses some terms that might be unfamiliar. Read through this list of terms and definitions if you need clarification:

• IR mode: In infrared (IR) mode, the remote relies on a direct line of sight to control the DVR via infrared signals. The remote is set in IR mode when you take it out of the box. IR mode does not require the remote to be paired to a specific DVR. In this mode, the remote will work with ANY of our TiVos.

• RF mode: In radio frequency (RF) mode, the remote does not require a direct line of sight. Rather, the remote can control a DVR anywhere within a radius of approximately 30 feet. To enter RF mode, you must pair the remote to a specific DVR

Pairing mode: Supports two methods for pairing:

• New Pairing mode: The remote control that comes with your 6 Tuner TiVo is already in New Pairing mode. This pairing mode allows you to pair the DVR and remote control automatically by pressing any button on the remote control.
• Allow Pairing mode: This pairing mode is for manually adding a new remote control or transferring a remote control from one DVR to another. When you put the remote control in Allow Pairing mode, it will pair with any available 6 Tuner TiVo that is accepting pairing requests within range.


Global Reset: The Global Reset function un-pairs the remote control from the paired DVR and clears any other remote settings, such as IR codes for your TV or other A/V devices.



Remote activity indicator colors


When the remote control is in Allow Pairing mode, the activity indicator (the TiVo logo's antennae on the TiVo button) slowly flashes. When the remote control successfully pairs with a DVR, the activity indicator flashes quickly five times and then stops.

When you press buttons on the remote, the activity indicator flashes different colors to indicate what kind of signal the remote is sending:

• If the activity indicator flashes red, the remote is sending IR commands to the DVR.
• If the activity indicator flashes amber, the remote is paired and is sending RF commands to the DVR.

NOTE: 6 Tuner TiVos can be paired with up to 10 remote controls.

Using theTiVo Series 5 Remote

Batteries

Install two (2) "AA"batteries as indicated by the diagram in thebattery compartment. Be careful to properlymatch the "+ / -" ends of the batteries with thediagram in the battery compartment.

When the batteriesbecome too weak to operate the remote controlproperly, the TiVo will start to beunresponsive to remote commands. When thishappens, install 2 new "AA" size batteries.

Button Descriptions

	The RemoteActivity Light indicates whena button on the remote is pressed.When in RF mode, the light is yellow.When in IR mode, the light is red.
	The TiVo Button takes you to 'TiVoCentral'; pressing it a second timetakes you to 'Now Playing'.
	If programmed,TV Power turns your TV on/off.
	Live TV takes you to live TV from the TiVoscreens. It also swaps from differenttuners so that you can watch somethingwhile recording something else.
	Backreturns you to the previous screen,state, or function within the TiVomenus.
	If programmed,Input changes the input sourceon your TV. Use this button to selectthe input the TiVo is connected to orto switch to other equipment like aVCR or DVD player.
	Info allows youto see the channel banner whilewatching live TV; pressing it againmakes it disappear. It also allows youto see the Program Details screenwhile in the program informationscreen, giving you additionalinformation about the program.
	The ArrowButtons are used to navigatethe TiVo menus and the TiVo LiveGuide. The up and down arrows allowyou to scroll through the menus. Theright arrow will select a menu option.The left arrow takes you back to thelast screen you were on.
	Select is used inthe TiVo menus or the Live Guide tochoose menu options or shows torecord.
	Select the wayyour widescreen television willdisplay standard (4:3) programming bygoing to a standard definition channeland pressing this button. Your 4:3programming can display in Panel(sidebars), Full (Stretch) or Zoom. and... Exit outof the menu/guide to watch your Liveprogram or recording
	Guide takes youto the TiVo Live Guide or Grid Guidewhere you can choose programs to watchor record. Pressing it again clearsthe guide from the screen.
	If programmed,Volume increases and decreasesthe volume on your TV or stereo.
	If programmed,Mute turns off the audio ofyour TV or stereo.
	Channelup/down changes thechannel on the TiVo and allows you topage up or down while in the TiVomenus.
	Thumbs Up lets yougive shows you like a positive rating.You can give a show up to three thumbsup. These ratings are used by the TiVoto choose programs to record for TiVoSuggestions.
	Record startsrecording the show you are currentlywatching.
	Thumbs Down lets yougive shows you don't like a negativerating. You can give a show up tothree thumbs down. These ratings areused by the TiVo to choose programs torecord for TiVo Suggestions.
	Play will startplaying a recorded show from NowPlaying. When you are using pause,rewind, fast-forward or slow, pressingPlay will resume playing at normalspeed.
	Rewind rewinds aprogram. Press it up to three timesfor three speeds. Press it a fourthtime to resume playing. When the TiVois paused, it allows you to go backframe-by-frame.
	Slow plays arecording or live TV in slow motion.Use in conjunction with FF or REWbuttons for frame-by-frame motion.
	Fast-Forwardfast-forwards through a program. Pressit up to three times for three speeds.Press it a fourth time to resumeplaying. When the TiVo is paused, itallows you to advance frame-by-frame.
	Pause freezes arecorded show or live TV. Pressing itagain resumes playing.
	InstantReplay repeats thelast 8 seconds of the program on arecording or live TV. Thisbutton also will take TV Listingsback 24 hours at a time.
or	The VODbutton takes you directly toVideo On Demand.
	Advance jumpsahead 30 seconds when watchingrecorded programming. Hold down morethan 2 seconds and it will take you tothe end the show. If you are watchinglive (buffered) TV, you can use it tocatch up to the live broadcast. Use inconjunction with FF or REW buttonsto skip to each 15 minute tickmarker. Thisbutton also will take TV Listingsforward 24 hours at a time.
	A, B, C, D - Special options used throughoutTiVo's Interactive Guide for sortingand filtering results.
	Numberbuttons allow you toenter channel numbers. Numbers1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 also take youto shortcuts in the guide while inTiVo central. Number 0takes you to the TiVo animationwhile in TiVo central.
	Clear removes the channelbanner on live TV or a recordedprogram. You can also use it todelete programs from My Shows.
	Enter/Last returnsyou to the last channel the TiVo wastuned to in live TV.

Switching Modes (IR / RF)

In IR mode, theremote will work with ANY of our TiVos.

To enter IRmode:

Press and holdthe + buttons until the light on theremote turns on. The remote remains in IRmode until you enter the key combinationthat puts the remote into RF mode.

Switching to RF mode (for 6 TunerTiVos):
Entering RF mode causes a paired remotethat is currently operating in IR mode toswitch to RF mode. This procedure has noeffect in New Pairing mode or when theremote is unpaired.

To change the remote control from IR mode toRF mode, press and hold the + buttons until theactivity indicator on the remote controllights.

Usingthe Remote Finder feature (TiVo T6 AND Pace MG2Only)

Are you always losingyour remote? The TiVo T6 remote uses a remotefinder feature to help you locate your missingremote.

• On the T6,touch the amber image of the remotecontrol on the front of the DVR:

Performing a Global Reset

The Global Resetfunction un-pairs the remote from the pairedDVR, then clears any other remote settings, suchas IR codes for your television or other A/Vdevice. Use this function to unpair a remote andreturn it to the out-of-box settings.

IMPORTANT: You willneed both the paired remote and the DVR toperform a global reset. If your paired remotehas been lost or damaged, you will need to usea new remote in IR mode to put the DVR in apairing state, then pair the new remote to theDVR. TV Input

1. Find the brand name of your TV from the list provided.
2. Hold down the TV Input and TiVo buttons together, until the red light comes on solid (about 5 seconds). Then release both buttons.
3. Enter the first four-digit code from your list.
4. Try your TV Input button. If you get no response, try again with the next code on your list.

Using Code Search When You Can't find the Code

1. Cover the end of the TiVo remote control with your hand to block the I/R signal
2. Hold down the TiVo and TV Power buttons together until the light on the remote control remains on+
3. Remove your hand from the end of the TiVo remote control
4. Enter code 0999 - After entering this code, the remote control light will flash 3 times and remain on
5. Press Channel Up once every two seconds; this will test hundreds of codes, one by one
   • Important: Going any faster than this may skip over a code that works
6. When pressing Channel Up turns off the TV, press Enter to select the code
7. Press TV Power button to test the code; if the TV turns on, the remote has been successfully programmed
8. Once the TiVo remote cycles through all available codes, the remote light will go out, indicating all codes have been tried
9. If this happened, or if the TV does not respond to the code selected, repeat these steps to make sure the code was not skipped over by cycling through the codes too fast

The TiVo remote may not have codes for all TV models

This remote is programmed by default to command Motorola/Pace/Arris and Scientific Atlanta/Cisco converters. No programming to these converters is necessary.

Program Remote Using the Popular Brands Method

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to program (TV, DVD, AUX, or AUD)
2. Press the device key (TV, AUDIO, DVD) the LED will light off and on again
3. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice
4. Find your device and brand from the chart below and note the DIGIT key assigned to your brand.

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to program (TV, DVD, AUDIO)
2. Press and release the device key (TV, DVD, AUDIO)
3. Press and hold SETUP until the device key (TV, DVD, AUDIO) blinks once, and then twice
4. Enter 1st code for your Audio Device brand from the code list.

Auto Search Method

If the four-digit code numbers assigned to your brand do not turn off your equipment or the code tables do not list your brand, you can use the Auto Search Method to find the correct code number for your equipment by the following steps:

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to operate
2. Press and hold SETUP until TV, DVD, or AUDIO blinks once, then twice
3. Press the the device key you wish to program (TV, DVD, AUDIO). The mode key will stay lit
4. Press and hold down the OK/SELECT key. Let go of the OK/SELECT key when your device turns off
5. Press the POWER button to turn the device back on

Code Number Readback

To identify the 4-digit setup code for your device, follow these steps:

1. Press the device key you wish to program (TV, DVD, AUDIO). The mode key will stay lit
2. Press and hold SETUP until the device key (TV, DVD, AUDIO) blinks twice
3. Press 9-9-0 on the remote. The mode key (TV, DVD, AUDIO) will blink twice
4. To view first digit in your 4 digit code, press 1 and count the number of times the mode key blinks back
   • Press 2 and count the number of times the mode key blinks back. this is your second digit
   • Press 3 and count the number of times the mode key blinks back. this is your third digit
   • Press 4 and count the number of times the mode key blinks back. this is your fourth digit
     • NOTE: If a code digit is “0” the red light will not blink

Programming the System On/Off Button

The System on/off button can send out up to three power on/off commands for the devices you programmed into the remote control

1. Press [CBL]
2. Press [System On/Off] and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The [CBL] button will turn on for 30 seconds
3. Press [TV]
4. Press [DVD] (if adding)
5. Press [AUD] (if adding)
6. Press [AUX] (if adding)
7. Press [CH?] to save the power commands you stored. The [CBL] button will blink twice to confirm

Volume Control

Volume and Mute control are factory programmed to the respective Device mode you select, as follows:

CBL : CBL TV : TV DVD : TV AUD : AUD AUX : AUX


If you wish to store another device's volume control in CBL mode, use the following steps

1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice
2. Press VOLUME + key
3. Press the mode key that corresponds to the device you use for volume controls

To restore the volume control back to your TV in CBL mode, repeat the above steps by replacing [device] with [CBL] in step 3

Video Input Button

This button can change the input source of your TV or other electronic device while in any mode.


• The button can change the input source of the TV (Input 1, Input 2, Aux, Game, Video 1, Video 2, etc) - this is the preferred default
• .. or, the button can change the input source of an audio device's input (CD, DVD, TV SOUND, etc.)

To program this button, follow the steps below:

1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice
2. Press VIDEO INPUT
3. Press the device key that corresponds to the device you use for volume controls (TV or AUDIO)

Your remote's WATCH CABLE Button

Once you have programmed the remote to operate your electronic devices, you can press the WATCH CABLE button to turn your converter and TV on and off with one button press. You can also program the WATCH CABLE button to turn off/on additional devices and/or tune your TV to it's correct output channel.

IMPORTANT:
You must first program ALL devices on your Champion (URC2025) for the WATCH CABLE button to work correctly.

Follow these steps if you wish to use an alternate device for volume control.

1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice
2. Press WATCH CABLE
3. In the order you want the devices to turn on, press the mode key that corresponds to the device ONCE AT A TIME.

   For example:

   Press , and the converter and TV will turn on/off in that order and puts the remote in CABLE mode.

   Press , , and the converter, TV, and Audio Device will turn on/off in that order and puts the remote in CABLE mode.

Battery Info

Install two (2) "AA" batteries as indicated by the diagram in the battery compartment. Be careful to properly match the "+ / -" ends of the batteries with the diagram in the battery compartment.



When the battery is low, the remote control LED blinks 2 times whenever a [device] button is pressed to turn on equipment.

Programming Your Cable Converter

Your remote control is pre-programmed to operate the Scientific Atlanta and Motorola Digital / DVR set-top terminals. Therefore, no further programming of your Cable devices is necessary.

To identify the 3-digit setup code for your device, follow these steps:

1. Press your device key (Audio, Video, or TV), then [SEL/OK] - hold both down until the device button lights up under your finger
2. Press [INFO] The illuminated button will “blink back” the code number, with a 1-second interval between each digit of the code
   • The number 0 will blink 10 times
   • For example: Code 405:
     • blinks 4 times
     • 1 second
     • Blinks 10 times
     • 1 second
     • Blinks 5 times

Buttton Functions

Installing / Replacing Batteries

Install two (2) "AA" batteries as indicated by the diagram in the battery compartment. Be careful to properly match the "+ / -" ends of the batteries with the diagram in the battery compartment

When the batteries become too weak to operate the remote control properly, the mode keys will become dim or not illuminate at all during use. When this happens, install 2 new "AA" size batteries

Your remote control has Memory Guard, which eliminates reprogramming after battery changes

General Reset

1. Press [S-A] or [MOT], then [SEL/OK] together until the [S-A] or [MOT] button lights up (under your finger)
2. Press [0]
3. The [S-A] or [MOT] button will blink 3 times and go out
4. All codes will now be CLEARED. Start programming your Synergy V over again, as needed

Your remote control is pre-programmed to operate the Scientific Atlanta and Motorola Digital / DVR set-top terminals. Therefore, no further programming of your Cable device is necessary.

Three-Digit Code Programming Method

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to program. (TV, VCR, or AUX)
2. Press [SEL], then [MUTE] together - hold both buttons down until the mode (power) buttons start blinking in sequence:
   
3. From the TV Setup Code list below, locate and enter the 3-digit code for your brand. If multiple codes are listed, you may have to enter several 3-digit codes until your TV turns off

Point and Press^® Programming

This method allows you to program the remote control without using codes

Please note:

• The order in which you program your devices IS NOT important
• While the remote is searching for the correct setup code, other devices that you are NOT currently programming may turn on/off. This is nothing to be concerned about. Simply continue pressing [CH +] until you find the correct code for the device you are programming. Your other devices will not be affected

1. Turn on your Device
2. Press [SEL], then [MUTE] together - hold both buttons down until the lighted mode (power) buttons start blinking in sequence:

   

3. Press and hold the [CH+] button until the TV turns off

   Every time the mode (power) buttons light in a sequence (see animation below), the remote is trying a different code. It may take seconds or several minutes for the remote to find the proper code for your device. Please be patient, and be ready to release the [CH +] button when the device turns off:

Programming and using the[ALL POWER] SmartKey®
The [CBL] button normally turns on / off your CABLE converter. But you can make it do more than that!

IMPORTANT:
You must first program ALL devices on your Synergy V for the [ALL POWER] SmartKey™ to work correctly

1. Press [POWER], then [MENU] together – hold both down together until the [CBL] button illuminates
2. Press the option Number below for the desired functions:

   If you select...	When you press the [CBL] button in CABLE mode, here is what will happen...
   1	The converter & TV* will turn on, and the TV will turn to channel 3
   2	The converter & TV*will turn on, and the TV will turn to channel 2

   0	The converter (only) will turn on. This is the default setting

3. The [CBL] button will blink and go out, storing the selected option.

Using the[ALL POWER] SmartKey®

• When using the [ALL POWER] SmartKey®, be sure to keep your remote aimed at the devices to ensure all functions are received in their entirety
• Whenever the [ALL POWER] SmartKey® is pressed the mode of the remote control willautomatically switch back to CABLE

Volume Control

After you program your remote:

To control volume / mute back through your TV in the remote's CABLE mode:

1. Press [SEL], then [CBL] together - hold both down until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
2. Press [VOL+], then [TV]. The [CBL] button will blink and go out

Mode Lock

Your Synergy V remote comes locked in it's CABLE operating mode. While it is in [CBL] mode, it can control all set-top operations, as well as power in the TV, VIDEO, and AUDIO devices

To operate more functions on your TV, VIDEO, and AUDIO devices, you can unlock the remote as follows:

1. Press [MUTE], then [CBL] together. Hold BOTH buttons down until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
2. Press [9,9,9]. The [CBL] button will blink and go out

To lock your remote back in it's CABLE operating mode:

1. Press [MUTE], then [CBL] together. Hold BOTH buttons down until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
2. Press [0,0,0]. The [CBL] button will blink and go out

INPUT Button

This button changes the input source of your electronic device

• In the remote's [CBL] mode (default), This operates a converter function
• In the remote's TV mode, the button changes the input source of the TV (Input 1, Input 2, Aux, Game, Video 1, Video 2, etc)
• In the remote's VCR mode, it changes the TV/VCR input on your VCR

You can program this button so that in the remote's CABLE mode, the [INPUT] button will operate the input function of your TV or VCR

• To program [INPUT] to operate the TV input in your remote's [CBL] mode, follow these steps:

  1. Press [INPUT], then [SEL]

     together

     until the [CBL] button lights up

  2. Press [TV]. The [CBL] button will blink 3 times and go out

• To program [INPUT] to operate the VCR input in your remote's [CBL] mode, follow these steps:

  1. Press [INPUT], then [SEL]

     together

     until the [CBL] button lights up

  2. Press [VIDEO]. The [CBL] button will blink 3 times and go out

• To program [INPUT] to return to defaults:

  1. Press [INPUT], then [SEL]

     together

     until the [CBL] button lights up

  2. Press [CBL]. The [CBL] button will blink 3 times and go out

General Reset

Depending on the manufacturer date of the remote, it can be reset to its factory default settings.

1. Press [CBL], then [SEL] together until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
2. Press [SETTINGS], then [SETTINGS] again. The [CBL] button will blink 3 times and go out
3. All codes will now be CLEARED. Start programming your Synergy® V over again, as needed

Programming Devices into the URC1056 Remote

Note:

• For control of a Combo device (for example, a TV/VCR combo), skip this section and perform the instructions on Setting Up a Combo Unit

• These instructions assume you have already selected the proper device code(s)

1. Turn on the device
2. Press and hold the appropriate device key until it blinks once

   VCR	VCR, PVR, DVR or extra DVD Player
   DVD	DVD Player, or extra VCR, TV/VCR Combo or PVR
   AUD	Audio Amplifier, Tuner, or Receiver
   TV	Television
   CBL	Cable Box (Converter) or Satellite Receiver

3. Press and hold the SETUP key until it blinks twice

   The mode keys should then blink twice if the code was accepted.
   If the selected mode key emits a long blink, the entry is invalid. Repeat steps 2 through 4 and try entering the same code again.

5. Test the device by pressing PWR. If the device responds, the program was successful
6. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 2-4 for other codes (if applicable)

Automatic Programming

The SmartScan™ programming instructions can also be found on the battery cover of the remote control. SmartScan™ will allow you to easily try all the available programming codes for the selected device and find the best match. If you prefer manual programming or already have the device codes see the Manual Programming section below


1. Turn on the device
2. Pressing and hold the desired device key (AUX, AUD, VCR, CBL, DVD, TV) until all device keys on the remote begin to flash
   (approximately 3 seconds), then release the key
3. If the device you’re are attempting to program matches the selected device key (e.g. TV = TV key) proceed to step 5.
4. If the device you’re are attempting to program does not match the selected key (e.g. a second VCR = AUX key), locate the correct prefix code for the device you wish to program (listed below). Press and release the number key that matches the prefix code

5. Press and release the POWER key. The device key will stop flashing and remain on
6. Point the remote control at the selected device
7. Press and hold the ? key until the device turns off. While holding the ? key the remote will send a new code approximately once every second. The device button will blink each time a new code is sent. If you pass the code that turns off the device, press the ? key to return to the previous code
8. When the device turns off, you have found a candidate code. Press the POWER Key to turn device back on. Test various functions using the remote control to determine if this code will work. If primary functions do not work, make sure the device is still on then resume SmartScan™ by pressing the ? key to find another device code
9. Once you have found a satisfactory code, press OK to lock the code. The power of the device must be on. The device key will then flash three times. Go to section 10 to recall and record your device codes. When all the codes have been attempted the device button will flash rapidly

Manual Programming

To manually set up the Enterprise to operate a device, find the manufacturer of the device in the list of manufacturers’ codes

1. Press and hold the device key to be programmed until all device keys begin to flash (approximately 3 seconds). Release the key. The selected device key will continue to flash
2. Enter the four digit code for the desired device using the number keys. After pressing the first digit, the device key should light and remain on if the programming is successful. After the last digit is pressed the device key should flash three times and turn off

3. Test the code by trying various functions. If the primary function keys fail to respond satisfactorily try the next code listed for the manufacturer.

   If you have tried all the codes listed for the manufacturer and the device does not respond, try to program the device using Automatic Programming above

Recalling aDevice Code

Use the following steps to read the code set for a device. This is useful for determining a device code that was set using Automatic Programming above

1. Press and hold the device key to be read until all device keys begin to flash (approximately 3 seconds). Release the key. The selected device key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the OK key. The device key flashes each of the four digits in the code. A pause separates each digit. For example, three flashes represent the number 3, and a rapid flicker represents 0. A code of 1032 will be shown as:

   FLASH <pause> FLICKER <pause> FLASH, FLASH, FLASH <pause> FLASH, FLASH

   Count and record the sequence of flashes to determine the four-digit code.

ProgrammingVolume Control

By default, your Enterprise remote controls cable volume through the Cable Box, and the VCR and DVD through the Television. To allow volume control through a different device:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash. Release the CBL key. The CBL key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the VOLUME ? key, the CBL key will remain on
3. Press and release the VOLUME ? key. The CBL key will turn off when VOLUME ? is pressed, and will turn on when released
4. Press and release the key corresponding to the device you wish to use to control volume (TV or AUD). After you release the key, the CBL key will flash three times and turn off

To return volume control to the default state:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash. Release the CBL key. The CBL key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the VOLUME ? key. The CBL device key will stop flashing and stay on
3. Press and release the VOLUME ? key, and then press and release the OK key
4. After you release the OK key, the CBL device key will flash three times and turn off

Master PowerControl

The Master Power function allows you to turn off and on two or more devices simultaneously with a single press of the POWER button. The following steps describe how to program the Master Power Control function:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash. Release the CBL key. The CBL key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the POWER key
3. Individually press and release each device key corresponding to the components you wish to be controlled by Master Power (starting with the cable device key).

   NOTE: If no keys are pressed in this step, no change will occur

   
   
4. Press and release the POWER key. The CBL key will flash three times and turn off
5. Manually turn on all devices. Then test the Master Power control by pressing the POWER key

To disable Master Power, repeat the previous steps selecting only one device for Master Power (any device can be selected). The remote will now control the power ON/OFF of each device separately.

NOTE: Once Master Power has been programmed for two or more devices, pressing the POWER key in normal operation will cause the remote to transmit the POWER on/off commands for those devices selected during Master Power programming.

To override this and transmit a POWER on/off command for a device not included in the Master Power selection, press the DEVICE key for that device and immediately press the POWER key.

Channel Lock

Channel Lock causes channel up and down functions to always operate the settop box independent of the device (TV, CBL, VCR, DVD or AUD) currently selected. The remote comes with Channel Lock activated. If you want the remote control to operate the channel function on your TV or VCR, you will need to deactivate Channel Lock:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash (approximately 3 seconds). Release the CBL key. The CBL key will
   continue to flash
2. Press and release the CHANNEL ? key
3. Press and release the CHANNEL ? key
4. Press the OK key. The CBL device key will flash three times to confirm

Repeat these steps to reactivate Channel Lock

2. Enter the four digit code for the desired device using the number keys. After pressing the first digit, the device key should light and remain on if the programming is successful. After the last digit is pressed the device key should flash three times and turn off

Recalling aDevice Code

Use the following steps to read the code set for a device. This is useful for determining a device code that was set using Automatic Programming above

1. Press and hold the device key to be read until all device keys begin to flash (approximately 3 seconds). Release the key. The selected device key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the OK key. The device key flashes each of the four digits in the code. A pause separates each digit. For example, three flashes represent the number 3, and a rapid flicker represents 0. A code of 1032 will be shown as:

   FLASH <pause> FLICKER <pause> FLASH, FLASH, FLASH <pause> FLASH, FLASH

   Count and record the sequence of flashes to determine the four-digit code.

ProgrammingVolume Control

By default, your Enterprise remote controls cable volume through the Cable Box, and the VCR and DVD through the Television. To allow volume control through a different device:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash. Release the CBL key. The CBL key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the VOLUME ? key, the CBL key will remain on
3. Press and release the VOLUME ? key. The CBL key will turn off when VOLUME ? is pressed, and will turn on when released
4. Press and release the key corresponding to the device you wish to use to control volume (TV or AUD). After you release the key, the CBL key will flash three times and turn off

To return volume control to the default state:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash. Release the CBL key. The CBL key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the VOLUME ? key. The CBL device key will stop flashing and stay on
3. Press and release the VOLUME ? key, and then press and release the OK key
4. After you release the OK key, the CBL device key will flash three times and turn off

Master PowerControl

The Master Power function allows you to turn off and on two or more devices simultaneously with a single press of the POWER button. The following steps describe how to program the Master Power Control function:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash. Release the CBL key. The CBL key will continue to flash
2. Press and release the POWER key
3. Individually press and release each device key corresponding to the components you wish to be controlled by Master Power (starting with the cable device key).

   NOTE: If no keys are pressed in this step, no change will occur

   
   
4. Press and release the POWER key. The CBL key will flash three times and turn off
5. Manually turn on all devices. Then test the Master Power control by pressing the POWER key

To disable Master Power, repeat the previous steps selecting only one device for Master Power (any device can be selected). The remote will now control the power ON/OFF of each device separately.

NOTE: Once Master Power has been programmed for two or more devices, pressing the POWER key in normal operation will cause the remote to transmit the POWER on/off commands for those devices selected during Master Power programming.
To override this and transmit a POWER on/off command for a device not included in the Master Power selection, press the DEVICE key for that device and immediately press the POWER key.

Channel Lock

Channel Lock causes channel up and down functions to always operate the settop box independent of the device (TV, CBL, VCR, DVD or AUD) currently selected. The remote comes with Channel Lock activated. If you want the remote control to operate the channel function on your TV or VCR, you will need to deactivate Channel Lock:

1. Press and hold the CBL device key until all the device keys begin to flash (approximately 3 seconds). Release the CBL key. The CBL key will
   continue to flash
2. Press and release the CHANNEL ? key
3. Press and release the CHANNEL ? key
4. Press the OK key. The CBL device key will flash three times to confirm

Repeat these steps to reactivate Channel Lock

Searching for the code

1. Turn on the device
2. Press and hold SELECT and the appropriate mode key (CBL, TV, VCR, DVD, or AUX) until the mode keys blink twice
3. Press 9, 9, 1. The mode key you selected in step 2 blinks twice
4. Point the remote toward the device, and press PLAY . The remote automatically tests each code in its library, beginning with the most common codes. The mode key blinks once each time the remote transmits a new code*. The mode key blinks twice when it reaches the last code

   *Depending the the mode key, the remote will check through a certain amount of codes:

   • CBL mode: 23
   • TV mode: 225
   • DVD mode: 206
   • VCR mode: 210
   • AUX mode: 38
5. As soon as the device powers off, press SELECT
6. Verify the new code is correct by pressing POWER
7. If the device powers on again, press SELECT to assign the code. If not complete the following steps:
   1. Turn the device on
   2. Press CH? or CH? to step forward or back to the correct code
   3. When the device turns off, press SELECT to assign the code

Find Your Code

Find out which code programmed the mode key to control your device

1. Press and hold SELECT and the appropriate mode key (CBL, TV, VCR, DVD, or AUX) until all mode keys blink twice
2. Press 9, 9, 0. The mode key you selected in step 1 blinks twice
3. Press 1 and then count the number of times the mode key blinks. The number of blinks indicates the first digit in the code
   • For example, 4 blinks indicates the first digit in the code is 4. If the mode key does not blink, the digit is 0.
4. Press 2 and then count the number of times the mode key blinks. This number indicates the second number in the code
5. Press 3 and then count the number of times the mode key blinks. This number indicates the third number in the code
6. Press 4 and then count the number of times the mode key blinks. This number indicates the fourth number in the code
7. After all four numbers in the code are identified, all mode keys blink three times

Controlling POWER key for Multiple Devices at Once

The Remote's POWER key can turn on/off multiple devices at once, rather than needing to change.

1. Press and hold the SELECT and CBL keys until the mode keys blink twice
2. Using the remote keypad, press 9, 9, 8. The CBL key blinks twice
3. Press the mode key (CBL, TV, VCR, DVD, or AUX) for the first device in the group of devices you want to power on and off at once. The CBL key blinks twice
4. Press the mode key for the second device in the group of devices you want to power on and off at once. The CBL key blinks twice
5. Repeat step for additional devices
6. When done, press SELECT to save your power settings. All mode keys blink three times

To change the POWER key back to it's default

1. Press and hold SELECT and CBL until all mode keys blink twice

4. The POWER key will only control the device/mode the remote is in

Channel Control Lock

You can lock the remote control to change channels only through the cable box, whether in CBL, VCR, DVD, or TV mode.

2. Press 9, 9, 7. The CBL key blinks twice.
3. Press the CBL. All mode keys blink three times.

   NOTE: In AUX mode, the remote always controls channels for the AUX device

Volume Control

You can lock the remote control to control volume and mute through one specific device, whether in CBL, VCR, DVD, or TV mode

To Control volume and mute through the TV only:

3. Press TV. All mode keys blink three times

5. As soon as the device powers down, press the SELECT key
6. Verify that the code is correct by pressing the POWER key
7. If the device powers on again, press the SELECT key again to lock in the code
8. If it does not, turn the device on and press CH + or CH - to step to the correct code. When the device turns off, press SELECT to lock in the code

Identifying ProgrammedCodes

1. Press and hold the SELECT and CBL keys until the mode keys blink twice
2. Using the remote keypad, press 9, 9, 0. The mode keys will blink twice
3. Press 1 then count the number of times the mode key blinks. This will be the first digit in the code. If the key does not blink the digit is 0
4. Repeat Step 3 substituting 2, 3 and 4 to obtain the other 4 code digits
5. Write down the code for future reference

1. Turn on the device you want to program. To program your TV, turn on the TV
2. Press and hold the [Device] key for 5 seconds until the Device LED will blink once and stays on. Continue to hold the [Device] key and press the number key assigned to your brand in the Quick Setup Code Table and release both [Device] key and the number key to save the code

4. Press the power button. If it turns off, it is programmed for your component. If it does not turn off, use the Pre-Programmed 3-Digit code Method or Scanning Method. Repeat the steps above for all devices (CBL, TV, DVD)

Manual Programming

The remote control can be programmed by entering a three-digit code number that corresponds to particular brands and models of equipment

1. Turn on the equipment that you want the remote control to operate (Cable Box, TV or DVD)
2. Press the [Device] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for three seconds. The corresponding device LED will turn on indicating that it is ready to be programmed. The LED will remain on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while the LED is on
3. Point the remote control toward the equipment and enter the three-digit code number assigned to your brand from the code tables. If there are more than one three-digit number listed for your brand, try one code number at a time until your equipment turns off

   Cable Converter- [CBL] ?
   Cable IPTV - [CBL] ?

   • You can verify that you have selected the correct code by pressing [POWER]. The equipment should turn back on. Then try all of the functions on the remote control (i.e. volume, mute, etc.) to ensure you have the correct code. If any of the functions do not operate as they should, repeat the instructions from step 3 using the next three digit code number from the brand list
4. Store the three-digit code by pressing the same [Device] button once again. The device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored.

Auto Search Method

If none of the three digit code numbers assigned to your brand of equipment works, or the code table does not list your brand, you can use the Auto Search Method to find the correct three-digit code number for your equipment by following steps:

1. Turn on the equipment that you want the remote control to operate (Cable Box, TV or DVD)
2. Press the [Device] button and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for three seconds

   The device LED will turn on indicating that it is ready to be programmed. The LED will remain on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while the LED is on

3. Press [CH?] or [CH?] one at a time or keep it pressed. The remote will emit a series of Power ON/OFF code signals. Release [CH?] or [CH?] as soon as the equipment turns off

   You can verify that you have selected the correct code by pressing [POWER]. The equipment should turn back on. Then try all of the functions on the remote control (i.e. volume, mute, etc.) to ensure you have the correct code. If any of the functions do not operate as they should, repeat the instructions from STEP 3 to continue the Auto Search Method

4. Press the same [DEVICE] button to store the code. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored.

Code Number Readback

This is useful for determining a device code that was set using the Auto Search Method above

1. Press the [Device] button and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds
2. The device LED will light on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
3. Press [INFO]. The device LED will blink number of times indicating the number of each digit of the code number
   • Each digit is separated by 1 second. Ten blinks is equal to the number 0
   • For example, 108 will be: One blink, [one second off], ten blinks, [one second off], eight blinks

Programming aSecond TV to DVD key

1. Press [DVD] and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds.
   • The device LED will light on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
2. Press [TV]
3. Point the remote control toward the equipment and enter the three-digit code number assigned to your TV brand from the code tables. The equipment will turn off when the correct three-digit code number has been entered.

4. Press [DVD] once again. The device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored

The Learning Method

1. Press the [Device] button (CBL, TV or DVD) to be programmed and the [INPUT] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Device LED light turns on
2. Line up the UR3L-SR4 to the other remote, head-to-head, 1 or 2 inches apart
3. Press any button on the UR3LSR4 that you want to teach a command to. For example, if you want to teach the [MUTE] button, press the [MUTE] button
4. Press and hold the [MUTE] button on the other remote until the UR3L-SR4 Device LED light blinks twice The LED will blink 5 times if there was an error in the learning process. In so, repeat STEPS 3 and 4. Continue learning other buttons by repeating STEPS 3 and 4
5. Once you have completed teaching UR3L-SR4 all desired commands for that Device, save the learned commands by pressing the [Device] and [INPUT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times. Now test all the buttons to make sure they learned correctly
Erasing a Single Learned Command
1. Press the [Device] and [INPUT] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Device LED light turns on
2. Press and hold the button you want to erase for 3 seconds. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm the erasure
3. To exit, press and hold both the [Device] and [INPUT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times
Erasing All Learned Commands from One Device
1. Press the [Device] and [INPUT] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Device LED light turns on
2. Press and hold both the [Device] button you want to erase and the [PAUSE] button for 5 seconds. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm the erasure
3. To exit, press and hold both the [Device] and [INPUT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times

Programming the'All Off' Button

This allows you to program the [All OFF] button so it can send up to three power On/Off commands with one button press

1. Press [CBL]
2. Press [All OFF] and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The [CBL] button will turn on for 30 seconds
3. Press the first [Device] button you want to store and then the [POWER] button
4. Press the second [Device] button you want to store and then the [POWER] button
5. Press the third [Device] button you want to store and then the [POWER] button
6. Press [CH?] to save the power commands you stored. The [CBL] button will blink twice to confirm

Volume Control

Volume and Mute control are factory programmed to the respective Device mode you select, as follows:

If you wish to store the Cable volume control in CBL mode, use the following steps


1. Press the [OK/SEL] button and [CBL] button simultaneously for three seconds.

   The device LED will turn on for 30 seconds. The next step must be performed while the LED is on

3. Press [CBL] button. The device LED will blink twice to confirm the programming

To restore the volume control back to your TV in CBL mode, repeat the above steps by replacing [CBL] with [TV] in Step 3.

Programming Channel Control

Channel controls are factory-programmed to automatically transfer to the respective Device mode you select, as follows:

CBL : CBL TV : CBL DVD : DVD
If you wish to store the TV channel controls in TV mode, use the following steps.

1. Press the [OK/SEL] button and [TV] button simultaneously for three seconds. The device LED will turn on for 30 seconds. The next step must be performed while the LED is on
2. Press the [VOL? ] button. The device LED will blink
3. Press [TV] button. The device LED will blink twice to confirm the programming
   

To return TV device to CBL channel repeat steps above replacing [TV] with [CBL] in Step 3

Low Battery Warning

When the battery is low, the remote control LED blinks 2 times whenever a [Device] button is pressed to turn on equipment.

Memory Lock

This remote control is designed to retain programmed memory for 10 years even after batteries are removed from the remote control.

6. Once you have found the correct 3-digit code, save it by pressing the same [DEVICE] button one more time. The [DEVICE] LED light will blink twice to confirm that the code was successfully stored

Auto Search Method

If the three-digit code numbers assigned to your brand do not turn off your equipment or the code tables do not list your brand, you can use the Auto Search Method to find the correct three-digit code number for your equipment by the following steps:

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to operate
2. Pressthe [DEVICE] button and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on
   • The device LED will light on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
3. Press the [CH?] or [CH?] button one step at a time or keep it pressed. The remote will emit a series of Power ON/OFF commands. Release the [CH?] or [CH?] button as soon as the equipment turns off.
4. Verify that you selected the correct code by pressing [POWER] again. The equipment should either turn on or turn off
5. Press the [DEVICE] button to store the code. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored

The System on/off button can send out up to five power on/off commands for the devices you programmed into the remote control

2. Line up the CLIKR-5 to the other remote, head-to-head, 1 or 2 inches apart
3. Press any button on the CLIKR-5 that you want to teach a command to. For example, if you want to teach the [MUTE] button, press the [MUTE] button
4. Press and hold the [MUTE] button on the other remote until the CLIKR-5 Device LED light blinks twice

   The LED will blink 5 times if there was an error in the learning process. In so, repeat STEPS 3 and 4. Continue learning other buttons by repeating STEPS 3 and 4

5. Once you have completed teaching CLIKR-5 all desired commands for that Device, save the learned commands by pressing the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times. Now test all the buttons to make sure they learned correctly
Erasing a Single Learned Command
1. Press the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Device LED light turns on
2. Press and hold the button you want to erase for 3 seconds. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm the erasure
3. To exit, press and hold both the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times
Erasing All Learned Commands from One Device

3. Enter the the 2, 3 or 4-digit code for the channel you want programmed first (for example, 0-0-7) using the Number Pad, then press the [STOP] button. Then enter the code for the next channel (for example, 0-5-0), then press the [STOP] button. Repeat this process for the third channel. The [CBL] button will blink once for each channel entered
4. Press the [CH?] button to store the commands that were selected. The [CBL] button will blink twice to confirm the storage of commands
5. To access the programmed channels, press the [MACRO] button once. This will bring up the first channel. Press once again and it will bring up the second channel. Press again and it will bring up the third channel

To erase the Macro programming and return to the original function:

1. Press the [CBL] button to select the CABLE mode
2. Press a [MACRO] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds

1. Press the [Device] button and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for 3 seconds
2. The device LED will light on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
3. Press [INFO]. The device LED will blink number of times indicating the number of each digit of the code number
   • Each digit is separated by 1 second. Ten blinks is equal to the number 0
   • For example, 108 will be: One blink, [one second off], ten blinks, [one second off], eight blinks

Programming a4th Device toAUX Button

You can take advantage of the AUX function to program a 4th Component such as a second TV, VCR, DVD or Audio Component

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to operate
2. Press [AUX] and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on
   • The device LED will light on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
3. Press the [Device] button you want to setup. Point the remote control toward the Device and enter the 3-digit code number assigned to your brand

4. If the 3-digit code number you just entered is the correct number, the Component will turn Off. If it did not turn Off, continue entering code numbers listed for that brand until the Component turns Off
5. Test functions. (Same as for 3-Digit Code Programming Method - Section A). If any of the functions do not work as they should, you need to find a new code.
6. Press [AUX] one more time. The Device LED light will blink twice to confirm the code was stored

Programming the System On/Off Button

The System on/off button can send out up to three power on/off commands for the devices you programmed into the remote control

1. Press [CBL]
2. Press [System On/Off] and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The [CBL] button will turn on for 30 seconds
3. Press [TV]
4. Press [DVD] (if adding)
5. Press [AUX] (if adding)
6. Press [CH?] to save the power commands you stored. The [CBL] button will blink twice to confirm

Programming Channel Controls

Channel controls (CH?, CH?, LAST, 0-9) are factory-programmed to automatically transfer to the respective Device mode you select, as follows:

CBL : CBL TV : CBL DVD : DVD AUX : AUX

If you wish to store the TV channel controls in TV mode, use the following steps

1. Press the [OK/SEL] button and [TV] button simultaneously for three seconds. The device LED will turn on for 30 seconds. The next step must be performed while the LED is on
2. Press the [VOL?] button. The device LED will blink
3. Press [TV] button. The device LED will blink twice to confirm the programming

   To return TV device to CBL channel repeat steps above replacing [TV] with [CBL] in Step 3

Volume Control

Volume and Mute control are factory programmed to the respective Device mode you select, as follows:

CBL : TV TV : TV DVD : TV AUX : AUX


If you wish to store the Cable volume control in CBL mode, use the following steps

1. Press [CBL] button and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for three seconds
   • The device LED will turn on for 20 seconds. The next step must be performed while the LED is on
2. Press the [VOL?] button. The device LED will blink
3. Press [CBL] button. The device LED will blink twice to confirm the programming

To restore the volume control back to your TV in CBL mode, repeat the above steps by replacing [CBL] with [TV] in Step 3

Low Battery Warning

When the battery is low, the remote control LED blinks 2 times whenever a [DEVICE] button is pressed to turn on equipment.

Memory Lock

This remote control is designed to retain programmed memory for 10 years even after batteries are removed from the remote control.

Button Functions

Three-Digit Code Programming Method

1. Turn on the device you want to program (TV, DVD, VCR or AUX)
2. Press the [Device] button (TV, DVD, VCR or AUX) to be programmed and [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will light for 30 seconds indicating the unit is ready to be programmed
3. Point the remote control toward the device and enter the 3-digit code number assigned to your brand

4. After you’ve entered the correct code number and the device has turned Off, press the [POWER] button to turn the device back On. Now it’s time to test the VOLUME and MUTE buttons for the TV (or PLAY and STOP buttons for VCR and DVD) to make sure they all work
5. If any of the functions do not work as they should, repeat from STEP 3 using the next 3-digit code number listed for that brand
6. Once you have found the correct 3-digit code, save it by pressing the same [Device] button one more time
7. The [Device] LED light will blink twice to confirm that the code was successfully stored

Auto Search Method

If the three-digit code numbers assigned to your brand do not turn off your equipment or the code tables do not list your brand, you can use the Auto Search Method to find the correct three-digit code number for your equipment by the following steps:

1. Turn on the equipment you wish to operate
2. Pressthe [Device] button and [OK/SEL] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on
   • The device LED will light on for 30 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
3. Press the [CH?] or [CH?] button one step at a time or keep it pressed. The remote will emit a series of Power ON/OFF commands. Release the [CH?] or [CH?] button as soon as the equipment turns off.
4. Verify that you selected the correct code by pressing [POWER] again. The equipment should either turn on or turn off
5. Press the [DEVICE] button to store the code. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored

The Learning Method

2. Line up the CLIKR-5 to the other remote, head-to-head, 1 or 2 inches apart
3. Press any button on the CLIKR-5 that you want to teach a command to. For example, if you want to teach the [MUTE] button, press the [MUTE] button
4. Press and hold the [MUTE] button on the other remote until the CLIKR-5 Device LED light blinks twice The LED will blink 5 times if there was an error in the learning process. In so, repeat STEPS 3 and 4. Continue learning other buttons by repeating steps 3 and 4
5. Once you have completed teaching CLIKR-5 all desired commands for that Device, save the learned commands by pressing the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times. Now test all the buttons to make sure they learned correctly
Erasing a Single Learned Command
1. Press the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Device LED light turns on
2. Press and hold the button you want to erase for 3 seconds. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm the erasure
3. To exit, press and hold both the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times
Erasing All Learned Commands from One Device
1. Press the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the Device LED light turns on
2. Press and hold both the [Device] button you want to erase and the [PAUSE] button for 5 seconds. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm the erasure
3. To exit, press and hold both the [Device] and [ASPECT] buttons simultaneously until the Device LED blinks 3 times

Programming a5th Device toAUX Button

In the CABLE device mode, the [M1], [M2], and [HELP] (see button functions below) can be programmed to act as a 'Favorite Channel' button.

This allows you to program up to 10 commands with one button press.

1. Press the [CBL] button to select the CBL mode
2. Press the [Macro] button and [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The [CBL] button will turn on for 20 seconds
   • The [Macro] button will turn on for 30 seconds. The next step must be performed while the LED is on
3. Press up to 10 buttons you wish to store. The [CBL] Component LED will blink once for each command entered
4. Press the [CH?] button to store the commands that were selected. The [CBL] button will blink twice to confirm the storage of commands

To erase the Macro programming and return to the original function:

1. Press the [CBL] button to select the CABLE mode
2. Press a [Macro] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for 3 seconds
   • The CBL device LED will turn on for 30 seconds. The next step must be performed while the LED is on
3. Press the [CH?] button to erase the functions stored in the button. The CBL button will blink twice to confirm that the memory button has been erased
