Elizabeth was a native of Indiana, and resided in Pittsburgh, PA and Endicott, NY prior to living in Manlius. She dedicated her life to her family, and to the service of her church and her communities.

She is predeceased by her husband, William S. Henry of Pittsburgh, PA; and by her parents, Eva Conn and Bernard Armstrong of Indiana. Surviving are her two daughters, Susan Knauss MacFarlane (and her husband Dennis) of Sparta, NJ and Emily Kimple (and her husband James) of Manlius, NY; a son, William S. Henry II (and his wife Amy) of Webster, NY; a sister, Patricia Brown (and her husband Bill) of Bloomington, IN; six grandchildren, Timothy Knauss of Sparta, NJ, Owen and Benjamin Kimple of Manlius, NY and Jordan, Morgan and Anna Henry of Webster, NY; and many loving nieces, nephews and caring friends. Lawton, 82, passed peacefully at his home on November 30, 2010 following a brief illness. Bob was born on January 9, 1928 in Endicott, a son of the late John L. and Katherine (Holland) Lawton. He was also predeceased by his two sons, John R. and Stephen M.

Lawton; and his grandson, David Lawton. He is survived by his loving wife of of more than 60 years, M. Joyce (Haines) Lawton, his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and David Vogel; his grandchildren, Chief Petty Officer Michael J. O'Neil and his wife Rebecca, Gary, Misty, and Michael Lawton; his sister, Bette Sherwood; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob is also survived by many good friends, among them his good friend Anne Reade.

Bob was a graduate of Union Endicott High School and a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS SIERRA and the USS CASCADE. He retired from IBM Owego following 31 years of service and was a member of The Quarter Century Club. Following retirement, Bob was employed by the Newark Valley Central School System as position he thoroughly enjoyed. He was also a devoted member of the Berkshire United Methodist Church where he served in many capacities. Other memberships included Glen Warner VFW Post 1371 (member of the Ritual Team Honor Guard), Centennial Engine and Hose Co.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Linda Jane (Tony) Tijerina; her son, Mark (Debbie) Berghorn; her father, Clyde H. Tull; her sister, Virginia Sheppard; her cherished grandchildren, Scott Berghorn, Lauren Tijerina, Marissa, Katie and Karli Berghorn; aunts and uncles, Mary Cook Ferris, Gretchen (Michael) Santangelo, Eleanor VanGorder, Evelyn Martin, Gerry Tull, Gordon (Mildred) Tull; two nieces and several cousins.

Judy is also survived by many endeared friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Jane (VanGorder) Tull; and her brother, Mark Tull. Judy was born in Endicott on June 23, 1943. She was a graduate of Newark Valley High School, a member of First United Methodist Church, Newark Valley and OES Onyx chapter 196, Owego. She has been an employee of The Salvation Army, Endicott for 29 years and also established and has been President of Linmark DBA Southern Tier Crane Service from 1983 until the present.

She had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the piano. Judy cherished her family and especially loved attending her grandchildren's sports activities, dance competitions and also hearing them sing. A funeral Service and Celebration of Judy's Life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the First United Methodist Church, Newark Valley.

Rev. Nancy Adams, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Newark Valley on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Eastern Star services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m.

Edwards, 90 of Minoa NY went to be with the Lord Monday morning Nov. 29, 2010 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse, NY. She was predeceased by her parents Floyd and Ethel Edwards, her brother Kenneth Edwards, her sister Bertha Frederick and son Larry Hartwick. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dale and James Husnay, Minoa, NY, Lorraine and Robert Geiger, Kirkwood, NY; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; one sister Doris Neice, Oneonta, NY; two special friends, Judy Rogers, Endwell, NY, Marguerite Evans, Hallstead, several nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was very devoted to her children. Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main Johnson City, Thursday at 12 pm. Pastor Timothy Dodd will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.

Suvak, Kristina Binghamton: Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kristina Suvak, 100 years, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday morning, November 27, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, John Suvak; six brothers, two sisters, an infant daughter; her daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Richard Wells; her daughter-in-law, Lorraine Suvak; and a great-grandson, Jason Ligator. She is survived by her son, Michael Suvak; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Joseph Dervay all of Johnson City; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, Dr. Joseph Dervay and his wife, Dr. Mary Goswitz and their children, Casey, Ryan, Courtney of Houston, TX, The Rev.

She was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church and cooked for many years in St. Michael's Recreation Center.

She was a retired employee of the E-J Corporation, Johnson City. Kristina loved her family, her church, gardening and baking. She was a beautiful seamstress and loved crocheting. She made sure that each grandchild had a crocheted afghan from her. A Divine Liturgy and funeral service will be concelebrated by Very Rev.

Protopresbyter James Dutko, Very Rev. Christopher Calin and Mrs. Suvak's grandson, Deacon Michael Suvak at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service Thursday 7:30 p.m. at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton where the family will receive friends Thursday 4-8- p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs.

He was also predeceased by his son, Thomas (Tommy) Ray Grace; and his parents, Clayton and Marion Grace. Clayton was a native of Limington, ME and was a veteran of the US Merchant Marines during WWII. He specialized in Poultry Husbandry until 1959 and then joined Connecticut General Life Ins.

Co. in Portland, ME. In 1965 he was transferred to Ogdensburg, NY, as a District Mgr. of Conn. General Life Ins.

And relocated to Binghamton in 1990, as District Manager of Conn. General. Clayton was a long time member of the Southern Tier Chapter of Life Underwriters, and a LUTC Instructor from 1973-74. He remained active in professional sales and was well known throughout an eight county area. He was an active member of the Glen Castle United Methodist Church and former member of the Nimmonsburg Rotary.

Dad, you were a wonderful role model to your family and everyone who knew you. The family would like to extend their heart felt thanks to all of Clayton's friends and especially to the caring staff at James G. Johnston Nursing facility at Hilltop, Unit 2, JC. A Memorial Service will be held at on Thursday, December 2, the Glen Castle United Methodist Church, Glen Castle with the Rev. James Collins officiating.
