This state park and campground are so wooded and very pretty! Sites are somewhat spacious depending on the site you get and where it's located in the campground. They all have a picnic tables and firepit ring. They have a store with limited items, Firewood( $7.50 a bundle) and ice ($4.00? ) to purchase. Bathroom/ shower facilities are in need of serious updating but doable. ( this is the only reason I didn't give this campground 5 stars ). Tons of walking and biking trails right from the campground, nice and cheap laundry 4 of each machines, small beach and fishingdock to use with such pretty scenery there. My husband is happy he's catching fishing while here! Park staff are super friendly and helpful too. You have to come check this campground and state park out, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing state park in Alabama. A beautiful spot write off of the highway. A lot of trail and activities to be had. We went fishing and had a great time. This is a great place for the family, an outing with a partner, or a space to clear your head. It cost 5 bucks to get in and if your over sixty it cost 2 bucks. Very heavily recommend checking the park out if you love the outdoors.

A beautiful place. You can go right up to the peaville waterfall. I loved my experience. I am planning to come back and camp closer to the summertime. It's $5 a person, and maps are $1. But that was well worth the v experience I had.

Beautiful state park with a multitude of activities. I tent (primitive) camped this week at Oak Mountain. My site (A-60) had a treacherous uneven climb but it was do-able for a fairly able bodied person. I wouldn’t recommend if you are disabled or have knee problems.The campsite itself was beautiful, fairly secluded and heavily wooded. It overlooks some RV sites but there was enough tree coverage to allow for seclusion.The bathhouses are an easy walk but they are awful! I heard they are being renovated this year so I look forward to visiting again.When I visited, I hiked a few trails, visited the bird sanctuary, went swimming at the lake and enjoyed peace accompanied by mild May weather. I can’t wait to visit again!

one of the best places to hike, bike, kayak, fish, camp, grill out, or really anything you'd want to do outdoors besides hunt ( they do have an archery range though). heck l, there's even a beach. I've been going here for 20 or so years and counting and It's just a great way to get outside. if you haven't hiked to kings chair it's a must do (see photos)

If you love to go hiking, this is an awesome state park to visit. Although there were some sections of the trail that were steeper to climb, the reward of viewing Peavine Falls was worth it. We also hiked to the King's Chair Outlook which had a beautiful view of the green forest, mountains (in the distance), and a lake below. There were some beautiful views from the mountain ridge and large rock formations(along the Blue Trail). We also enjoyed hiking to Maggie's Glen - a pretty little area with a small bridge over a flowing stream. Another beautiful hike is The Treetop Nature Trail that follows a meandering stream surrounded by greenery. The beginning of this trail has a boardwalk section where rehabilitated birds of prey are contained in outdoor enclosures. The trails are well marked and there are several connecting trails. We packed a lunch, snacks, and plenty of water to enjoy the natural beauty of this park.

Beautiful park, great location near local shops. Many amenities were closed. Bird rescue exhibit was neat. Playground is nice.

Some nice hikes and pretty views. Also, quite a lot of variety of activities it seems like.However, for someone like myself only really interested in hiking and camping, there are better places. There are lots of people and many of the hiking trails are shared with mountain bikes which makes them smooth and boring and annoyingly hazardous trying to watch out for fast-moving bikers.For me, I'd much rather go to Bankhead or Guntersville than Oak Mountain. Both have better hiking, better views, better waterfalls, and significantly less people.

This is an incredible park to visit! It’s HUGE and includes horseback riding, a golf course, playground, kayak & paddle boat rental, swimming area, and more! There were very nice bathroom facilities at all parking areas. Gorgeous views. Drive through road and tons of hiking trails with bridges. Wish we had more than a few hours, I think you could spend several days exploring and still not see it all!Stickers, magnets, T-shirt’s and stuffed animals at the park office, but very small selections.

Epic! Very friendly people at the gate. Super clean showers and bathrooms. Grills, and campsites kept up! The lake is really cool. Here for the annual Bump and Grind mountain bike race. Nice mountain bike trails. Can't wait to come back next year!

This looks lace is amazing. If you like hiking and being in nature than you have to go see these waterfalls. Not going to lie climbing down to the water fall can be dangerous but if you are in good shape you will have no problem getting down to them. If you are not in good shape, be warned it is no easy task!

A glorious place to hike. The park is dog friendly, and kid friendly. There was plenty of parking, and the restrooms were very clean. Stay the path and you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views like these.

The kings chair trail makes for a moderate hike. Distance is about 7.89 km with a detour @ the Overlook. It took us almost 3 hours. A swim at the lake And a picnic was the best way to conclude a successful day with family.Good walking/ hiking shoes highly recommend.The best way to get to the kings chair is to Start Blue trail at North Trailhead take to Kings Chair out and back continue on Blue trail to Red Blue connector. Then Red trail back to trailhead.

Great park on the outskirts of Birmingham. In one day I was able to do a little kayaking, hiking, and mountain biking on well maintained trails. Would definitely consider returning.

We visited the park twice in October/2023. First time we hiked the Rattlesnake Ridge and we actually almost stepped in a rattlesnake in the trail. Second time, We did the Lake trail by bike and it was a great experience. That was a few Fall colors. It must be prettier by November.The park is very well maintained, bathrooms were clean, there are showers and grills around. Great place to spend the day with family and kids too.

Beautiful State Park plenty of trails we had some nice rain the night before so the falls was rolling. Very nice overlook of the cities seen quite a bit of trash on the trails though which is just sad I wish people would quit throwing trash down.

You do have to pay a $5 fee to get in though. It is a really big park. There's walking trails (I didn't go through the whole area; I mostly stuck to the trails) and there's a big lake. There's an area with cabins as well. It's got some pretty good trails.

This is a beautiful, natural area just south of Birmingham. I was here in the winter and it was a very rainy day. I was still able to stroll around a little bit checking out the Nature Center with protected animals .I can imagine in the summertime, the park is packed with people hiking, biking and swimming.Take some time to go enjoy it.

Well maintained and clean. Attendees posted at front and back entrances and routinely patrolled to make sure everything is okay. Camp spots are marked with a post with the #s on them and are color coded to show different conveniences. Campground B doesn't look as well planned as the other sites. Some spots need a well experienced driver to back a camper into. Also could use a big grassy area to play catch, football, or maybe baseball without fear of hitting a car or camper

Great visit here today. We really enjoyed the cavern tour. Great new lazer show during the tour. The group was a little big in our opinion but the guide did well managing it. I think a smaller group would have made for a much better time. But it is a great time if your in the area.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could!100% totally worth the hour and a half drive from the Montgomery area and the all inclusive tickets. So much information inside the cave. I want to talk all about what we learned but don’t want to ruin any surprises for anyone if they go. A huge 12 story tall cavern the size of a football field. A light show inside the cavern at the end. A beautifully curated gift shop. Lots of fun attractions. Food bar and a coffee bar, fudge and other confections. Very nice grounds/landscaping. Wonderful staff and tour guides. Perfect weather today.

we drove up today from the Columbus Ga Area.. about 2 hrs.let me say, I'm giving only 3 stars, but it may not be reflective of the location. I'll get to it.so.. overall, the Caverns park was clean, friendly and family friendly. it's attached to a campground I can't really comment on. it did look fairly nice from a distance. it's only getting three stars because it seemed most all the activities were targeting younger kids. ages 5/6 to maybe 12/13. not terribly exciting activities for slightly older kids. the prices for each activity, seemed a bit high, but I'm not sure how to lower them much and still make $$. a fine line there. We really did enjoy the cavern tour itself. it was a cool experience, and educational with some of the history associated with it.End thoughts.. if you are passing through the area, if you have young kids, or maybe grandkids, it might be worth the visit. if you have older kids, it's not really worth the stop, and not really worth driving more than an hour for. Again, not a bad place, but not worth the cost + traveling to, just for the cavern park. maybe if you're camping?

We came on July 4th. Great day trip. Cameron’s we’re cool to see and hear the history. Asa was a wonderful guide and juggler!! The laser show was a bit underwhelming, music and sound were good though. Lots of activities for the kids. Some of them need some attention, but overall recommend for a days visit.

The experience was great! It is a little pricey for what you get, but it’s a great experience especially for a family with children! I paid about $175 for four people. The business does try to get people’s business by being very helpful and being polite. The park has a relaxing atmosphere! We went during the week, and there were a good number of people that day. My kids got to experience all the attractions that were published on their website. The attractions are mainly geared for younger people though. If you’re an adult, I wouldn’t invest in the all-inclusive ticket if I were you. The cave trek and laser show should be just fine. The place isn’t pristine perfect, but it’s not as bad as other reviews have made it out to be.

Our family had such a great time here. I was worried our teenagers (19 & 15 yrs old) would be too old for the activities, but that is definitely not the case. It was a lot of fun for everyone! The maze was both hard and hilarious, the air cannons kept us laughing, and the basketball challenge was a pleasant surprise. More to do, but the cavern itself and the tour by Evan was AMAZING. The history of the cavern was so interesting. We loved the experience of being in total darkness, and the waterfall was breathtaking. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you to the entire staff!

Coming from someone who's only ever visited one other cave (Ruby falls) I have to say that the main cavern is a sight to behold it felt like I was in some rock cathedral. The tour guide gave us ample time to enjoy the space, I did not feel like we were rushed at all. The history behind DeSoto caverns is somewhat interesting, but overall you're really there for the view. I would highly recommend anyone who likes caves/caverns, to definitely give this one a go.

Family 4 went today! It was a cold day so not everything was opened. We did everything we could. Cute little place for the family to enjoy. With that being said, I think it is a bit overpriced with everything not opened. Maybe consider a "winter" deal. My 5 and 3 year enjoyed it. We love finding caves and LOVED the laser show after the tour. It was majestic! We will be back and hope to camp out next time.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Most everyone was nice and very helpful. The train was inoperable while there, but there were many other activities for the Littles. The tour was great! Our guide made it rather enjoyable. Although, it was a little more on the pricey end. Approximately $50 per person.

My family stopped by and had an amazing time. We had a worker named Ervin or Erwin I believe. He took us in the cave, showed us the many activities (archery, train, water balloons etc.) The customer service was so friendly.

The caverns themselves were amazing and our tour guide, Anna, was great, everything else was "eh" at best. First, the tour is WAY overpriced. The grounds themselves are in complete disrepair and are falling apart. The gift shop floor is hazardous, the faucets in the bathrooms were falling off, none of the doors had latches that worked and there are no employees. No signs for directions, no information, nothing. You walk in and just wonder around until you figure things out. $130 for 2 adults and 2 kids is RIDICULOUS if you can't keep the facilities maintained. Also, I personally feel they have completely desecrated the cave. They have made so many "adjustments" and "alterations" you can't tell what is genuine and what is not. The colored lights make it hard to tell what the natural color of the formations are. There are wires running through so many formations and we are asked not to touch the formations, yet, they have destroyed many of them. The light show at the end, although impressive, has nothing to do with the cave itself and is a cheap ploy to bring in more tourism. Overall, I was not impressed with the Majestic Caverns overall and was disappointed that instead of focusing on the history and preserving the caves they have turned them into a money scheme.

This place is pretty cool. From WI and saw this place on Google. Decided to go day off the Iron Bowl, so it was dead. We were told from locals that it gets cold down in the caverns, but rest assured it's a comfortable 60 degrees. It's a guided tour, you can't touch anything- but plenty of photo opportunities and learning. Highly recommend if you haven't been. Waited less than 5 mins to start. Don't forget to tip your guide (Atticus you rocked!)!

The cavern is amazing. Having extra minutes to take more photos would have been nice but we spent 2 days exploring.Some of the activities need renovations but they were still quite enjoyable.I was really hoping to get a Majestic Cavern mug (loved the DeSoto clay mugs they use to have before the name change) but maybe one day!!!We spent 3 days at the campground. Picnic table was rotted and falling apart but that's why we bring own own plastic table ... weather and nature happens. I definitely recommend coming to camp and spend a few days to fully enjoy the park.

We bought the all inclusive tickets online, literally the night before.They have cave walks every hour, it's about a 45 minute walk throughIf you have fidgety kids, I don't recommend the actual cave, but the activities up top are super fun!All the employees were incredibly hands on, and very supportive of my special needs child.

Overall great birthday experience for my 12 year old daughter & our family as a whole. But the tour is way too long. We didn't get to experience whatever "light show" there was supposed to be. All of the attractions were not available & there should be some type of alarm for the train rides. We were so into the park and enjoying being outside on a nice day so really couldn't pay attention to the time. The gift shop items are a bit pricey and she said the bday fudge was not appetizing. I spent $24 for a bracelet. But I did it for my baby girl.

Camp ground is definitely run down and the bathrooms are disgusting! All 3 bathrooms the toilets would clog and Wobble real bad one of the toilets was leaning really bad about to tip over. Bathrooms do not get cleaned regularly! I stayed for 4 night and didn’t even see a single maintenance worker. Left a message to park staff to call me they never called me back. Toilets leaked sewer water at the base when flushed!! Customer service is terrible! I had called to confirm that they would be opening on Friday once we showed up this guy told us they had closed it was only 11am. After complaining they said they would do just one tour for our group. Very unreliable communication from park hosts. I would definitely not camp here again! Only reason they got 2 starts was because the cave tour was pretty good. Laser show was great tour is not very long and is a little expensive for the duration! I was very disappointed with all the amenities and the camp ground! It’s a real shame because this place is well advertised and seems great online but is very misleading!

We had a blast with our Cub Scout pack! What an amazing and memorable Scout trip we had! And Roman is top notch! His customer service exceeded our expectations! That guy is such an asset to your business! We will never forget all the memories that we made! We totally recommend!

Such beautiful and expansive botanic gardens! There’s lots of variety of different gardens, including a beautiful Japanese garden and various climate zones inside of the conservatory. Well worth a visit and you can easily spend a couple of hours walking around.

This is a super-large botanical garden. There are many varieties of flowers, the trees are lush, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. Such a beautiful scenery, but it is rare to confiscate the tickets. If you want to visit here, you should arrive earlier, especially on weekends and holidays. Although the parking lot is quite large, it is never enough. When the weather is good, it is a sea of people.

Such a wonderful place to come and enjoy a beautiful Birmingham day. It’s always peaceful and nice here in pretty much any season. I love the Japanese section of the gardens and the boardwalk through the bamboo is very well done. Also don’t miss the moon tree next to the rose garden near the entrance. I feel like every time we come we discover a new section of the gardens. I highly recommend.

This is a beautiful place to spend the day. I can't wait to come back thru in the spring and catch some of the blooms that I missed by being there later in the year. Free parking and free admission and great views, you can't ask for much more. Spend the day walking the paths and sitting by one of the fountains and just enjoy nature.

While on my work contract in Birmingham, I unexpectedly discovered the city's Botanical Garden and was pleasantly surprised by its charm. It's truly a hidden gem that should not be missed. The conservatory, with its breathtaking beauty and vastness, left me in awe. Additionally, the garden itself offers a diverse range of areas to explore, providing something for everyone to enjoy. If you haven't had the chance to visit yet, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely delightful place to visit. It is well organized, it has a nice mix of trail like hikes and flowery gardens, some of them consisting of fruits and vegetables. It’s even better when you consider it is entirely free, as all these cultural spaces should always be. They’ve done a great job at organizing the plant life in different sections. Wonderful destination to spend a few hours, and there’s an area with restaurants and shops just 2 minutes away by car. %100 recommended you visit these gardens, I will surely stop by every time I’m in town. A walk around here enjoying nature is good for your health and good for the soul.

We went for the Cherry 🌸 Blossom Festival. Parking was of course spars, but found a lot that was right across the street. But FREE admission! That is not a thing where we're from.This place is beautiful! Hosting some of my favorite flora and a vast bamboo garden with a canopy that you can hide out in from the sun.I cannot wait to come back to explore the rest of the garden!

This is a very magical place! We stopped in early April so not all things were in bloom but the Rhododendrons were spectacular.The place is huge so make sure you have walking shoes on. We learned so much!Looking forward to visiting during the different seasons.Pics- my husband found two pencils on a path and they made for some cute pictures.

Wish I could give this place a higher review, it seems like a great botanical garden, but I visited in November, and on a Monday (which the conservatory is closed on, apparently), and on the day I visited they had most of the water features turned off, likely for maintenance as there were a lot of guys walking around with tools working on PVC pipes. I guess its just a bad day, but I didn't choose when work sent me to Birmingham. The Japanese garden was pretty good despite the cool weather and the fern garden was lovely.

We spend more than an hour walking through. There is no entrance fee and absolutely free to enjoy there. We visited on Monday and the Green house was closed since it's a holiday on Monday. There are some beautiful swings on the way to the Japanese garden. The graden is structured well. There is a water body were we can see turtles both big and small, fish. They have restrooms and benches in some areas.

It's free entry, full of gorgeous plants to take pictures of and with, and has plenty of swings, benches, and shaded areas to take a break by.If you're passing through the area or need a break from traveling on a long road trip, definitely a good spot to stretch your legs.

Lovely place for a stroll and a quick activity for the whole family! The gardens are well take care of and there are numerous areas to explore, my favorite wad the rose gardens. My one issue was that there were no maps to keep track of where you were, or I just didn’t know where to look.

We visited over the week end during the Cherry Blossom festival. We waited in line for about 1 and a half hours to get a parking spot and that is about as long as our visit was. My first stop was the ladies bathroom with a waiting line and only 4 stalls. One of the paper towel dispensers did not work. The stall needed a major cleaning and it pretty much reflects the lack of attention of the gardens. The scenery was average. The neighboring houses were prettier and nicer than the gardens. The pictures are of the dirty bathroom and the bonsai display.

The Japanese garden was my favorite part of the botanical gardens. The tea house, ponds, and bamboo forests added to the immersive experience. I recommend going during cherry blossom season. The garden is beautiful.

Ohhh my goshhh, this is the best garden I've ever been to, the japanese gardens is one that everyone needs to go, it's almost like a place that you can hang around to relieve yourself from stress.Atmosphere: There is a simple way around, yep that's right, a map 🗺️ , multiple gardens to explore including greenhouses, straight plants, a wishing well, pavilions, and more.Experience: People everywhere, and by that I mean a ton of people, with the ratings and reviews, I know for a fact that this garden is popular no matter the weather or season. Parking spots to choose from, as far as I know, there are no pets or bicycles allowed but I can't say for sure because some people had pets but no bicycles but I get that because they want you to enjoy the scenery and not walk up a bunch of steps with a bike in your hands.

It's huge and free what more can you ask for? Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views, swinging benches are an unexpected bonus. The Asian garden was my favorite, the pond with the koi and turtles the bamboo walk through, tea house and all the plants. It was a nice way to spend a few hours. Lots of families and joggers enjoying the garden.

Absolutely stunning place, of course we came in the Fall but there was a lot still blooming. I can only imagine what Spring time looks like up here! It's huge! Could easily spend all day here if you're a nature lover like myself just taking in the wonderful sights and the magnificent smells. Ended up leaving with some plants and it's Free to walk in. Mobile and surrounding places need to take note. Will definitely be back

There's so much to take in at this park. Beautiful scenery, nice and cool. Friendly staff and patrons. The only thing that I noticed and uncomfortable with was the big pond in the Japanese Garden area had a lot of chemical pollution (PFAS/PFOS). They are widely used in non stick/water repellents. They're long lasting chemicals that break down very slowly over time and has pretty bad health risks once it gets in the body and builds over time. How you know it's present is all the clusters of bubbles on the surface. One of the chemical is hydrophilic and the other side is hydrophobic making it float. I wouldn't touch the water if I were you.

This is a Motorcycle lovers paradise. They also have vintage cars and race cars. There is an entire area donated to Lotus. The building is designed so beautifully and the motorcycles and vehicles are very well kept.You would probably need to spend 4-5 hours to view Museum thoroughly. They also have a nice gift shop.The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also a track at location. This day a private club was using it.I paid $33 total online for 2 tickets. If you would like 10% military discount you have to wait to pay on site. There is no military discount at store.Recommend visiting if in the area!!!

Amazing museum at the Barber Raceway. Enormous collection of mostly motorcycles. Also has some glimpses of the working racing research and design areas. If you plan to read every placard for each item you will need several hours. "There is just so much!", was the constant refrain as we toured.

Superb museum! Never a huge fan of motorcycles before I walked in, but one just can't help becoming one after walking out. The collection is unreal, going back to late 1800s, from all over the world to boot. Plus you can see a race, if they have one when you visit, which makes the place that much more memorable.

One of the nicest collections of motorcycles I have ever seen. If you like all generations and makes and models of motorcycles, you will love it. The history in this building is amazing. Take an audio tour if you can. There is 5 levels of exhibits, ample bathrooms, a banquet area for conferences and corporate gatherings. State of the art facility. Definitely for the motorcycle history buff.

There isn't anything I can truly say to make this museum better than it already is. It is beautiful! It is by far one of the most precise and excellently built interior structures for a motor or auto museum I have ever seen in my life. It is pretty breathtaking and wonderful to see. Pictures don't do it justice. I highly recommend you visiting and seeing amazing history.

This is less than half the overall inventory! There is a race track for interested drivers. This is an unbelievable collection. Finally, find the Y2K turbine motorcycle and the Lotus family letter affirming Barber's largest collection of Lotus car collection.

My family and I took a last-minute getaway to Birmingham and stumbled upon the Barber Musuem. The facility and grounds were extremely clean and very well laid out. And the workers and everyone we spoke to were all very friendly. I especially loved being able to watch our 2 year olds son's face as we were able to walk over the race track and see the motorcycles out racing. Even if you are not a motorcycle enthusiast, this is definitely worth a visit. We will be back!!

This place is massive! They have an insane amount of motorcycles, plus a wide variety of other things to look at (such as cars). There is also a race track with overlooks to view the track. We were there today and Porsche had cars racing out on the track. There is a scenic trail to walk through with sculptures and a nice waterfall. It was $20 per adult and we spent hours there. It is definitely worth the price and a visit.

This place is mind boggling! So cool! I'm not particularly into motorcycles, but my buddy who I went on vacation with suggested we go there. I was amazed how much I thoroughly enjoyed myself. They have every kind of motorcycle imaginable, but also a large collection of boat motors, race cars, and antique cars.

This place was amazing - the incredible detail put into this place, the number of motorcycles, the unique layout of the building, the history of the bikes and cars! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 hours we spent walking through the display and observing the cars on the awesome track outside. Even with the July heat, we loved being able to stand on the bridges over the track as the cars raced around. They even have a lovely wooded path that leads to a gazebo where we sat for a bit. This large wooded area is in the middle of the winding track.

Wonderful and extensive exhibit, very clean and easy to get around. Even if you're not a motorcycle fanatic, I think you'd enjoy the place. It's also very clean and the AC is a nice break from the hot Bama weather.

This museum is an experience! There’s a ton to see and do. It’s not a boring old motorcycle place just for boys! It’s displayed in such a way that it’s interesting, informative and awesome! Come on a day when the cars are racing and stand on the glass panels in the bridge and watch the cars fly by beneath your feet!!

The history is great and the personality of the entire experience is one of a kind. The staff is incredibly kind and inviting. Wow is the only word to explain this place, the magnitude, the sheer size of this place is huge. So many cars, motorcycles, cars racing was magnificent. This place is spotless, staff was great and very informative. Had a great time visiting and definitely worth the visit. Hope to be back soon.

This place is amazing. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, doubly so. They have a huge, beautiful collection of motorcycles. Ranging from the late 1800's, to current production bikes, and everything in between. They also have plenty of cars, with a large display focused on Lotus vehicles, as well as a few other interesting items like outboard motors. The grounds outside by the race track are beautifully landscaped, and there is a trail you can walk with various pieces of artwork throughout a wooded setting. This is the best vehicle museum I have ever been to. Now I just need to get down there when there is a race on their track to complete the experience.

5 stories of vintage to new motorcycles, race cars, boat engines, drag vehicles, and bicycles. Large conference/dining facilities, bathrooms on most levels, and very clean. Parking is spacious and plan to stay for a few hours at a minimum.

This stunning museum must be seen to be believed! My only issue is the kids tickets are too pricy, but it's not the most easily appreciated museum for kids. The thoughtfulness that's gone into the layout and the architecture is amazing, and the largest Lotus collection in the world is a real cherry in top.

I was absolutely blown away by this museum. They have thousands of bikes there on display. Bikes I've never heard of before and all of my favorite motorcycle producers like Indian and Harley-Davidson. They also have a racetrack out back where you can watch races or pay to drive one of their vehicles or your own at high speeds. There are five floors of display

Fabulous facility! The facility was very clean and modern. Outstanding collection of motorcycles from all decades and countries. Cars were mainly racing. Motorcycles were primarily clean and restored to factory appearance. Displays very professional.

Even if you’re not a motorcycle/automotive enthusiast, you will be impressed with this collection and how everything is visually presented. Hats off to whoever did the internal structural design and the layout of each vehicle. The staff was super nice, We had a great time including a fantastic tour with Michael. Will definitely be back again.

Great place to kill time and really enjoy the history of the motor vehicle. Loved learning new things especially about the original Harley Davidson office that was burned down by accident! Even had a mini theater to inform everyone about the history of the first motor race and how we got to racing as it is today.

A Heavenly and a spiritually edifying experience. I'm glad photos and video aren't allowed in the shrine-allowing one to immerse in the divide. I loved the multiple sites and shrines on the premises. The grounds are absolutely beautiful.

It's a beautiful place with a very holy atmosphere. It's quiet, and so peaceful. The Monstrance they have is huge and so beautiful! It's a beautiful little cathedral/shrine. They also have an exhibit downstairs of the Shroud of Turin and it's breathtaking. Definitely recommend. Their giftshop castle thing is also really cool with a great selection of Catholic gifts.

I was blown away with the beautiful spirit filled Shrine. I went with my church group and the testimonies have been memorable. Highly recommended for families and friends, away from the stressful activities of the cities. The staff (brothers/sisters) were very friendly and accommodating too.

What a blessing to the world! This special place is a wonderful pilgrimage for Catholics or anyone seeking a place to go and rest for a while in the presence of Christ. We spent the entire day there. We attended mass in the lower church, went to confession in the chapel, participated in Eucharistic Adoration, and 2 tours- one of the Shrine and the other of the St. John Paul Eucharistic Center. We also loved their gift shop. My sisters and I highly recommend visiting here.

I love going here and just don't get to enough. I have truly had life changing experiences at this shrine. Including a time when the sisters devoted one day of prayer to young boy who had cancer. With God's grace, he was cured. However, if you go there, you will most assuredly discover the Devine Mercy of our Lord, especially in the Child Jesus. I can't stress enough how much you will be in awe with Christ's peace here. Please come here if you can, you can also pray at the resting place of dear Mother Angelica. I could spend days here.

Amazing place to come for a weekend retreat. The grounds are huge. There is a main church as well as a crypt church for masses. There's also separate area for adoration. There is a room with life size nativity scene with year round Christmas music. There's an outdoor station of the cross with the last station of Jesus on the cross that will send chills on your skin. There is a Eucharistic center with dedication to Pope John Paul. The architecture from outside to inside is just so detailed. You'll leave with a sense of peace and tranquility as well as a closeness to Jesus.

Pretty cool place to visit. The animals are used to cars feeding them, so they will swarm your car and if your windows are down they will be all up in your car. Was hoping for more variety of animals, it's mostly deer and emu. There are some variants of cattle, a few miniature horses and a bunch of pigs. There is a giraffe, which is cool, but he stayed pretty close to his pen.The animals with horns/antlers did a great job of minding their closeness to the car. They got super close, but didn't have any issues with them scratching the paint (I was super worried about that.)

This place is amazing, I took my fourteen your old daughter, and we had a blast it was so much fun so many friendly interactive animals, I would definitely go back again highly recommend it for anybody of all ages to check this place out you will not regret it I can guarantee you that. Literally some of the best fun I’ve had in so long.

Animals were very sweet and all came to meet us in the car. There was plenty of food to go around and a bunch of the deers just followed our car along which was fun. We had a great time.

A bit smaller than expected, and with fewer animal types than we'd hoped. Still a nice time - lots of laughter, squeals of delight, and excitement. We didn't even have any kids with us on this trip yet still had fun. Definitely worth the price, even with slightly expensive animal feed. I mean, how often do you get to interact with llamas / alpacas, exotic deer big & small, cows and bulls with enormously long horns (red, long haired highland cattle & Ankole - Watusi breed)...And many others!?!

We enjoyed feeding the animals. I was disappointed that there was no giraffe or highlander cow and they have closed all the walking attractions. No reptile attraction or tortoises. You can not get put og ypur car for any pictures anywhere. When I asked questions about it to see if it was permanent, the woman seemed annoyed. We did enjoy the cows, emus and llamas. Just wished we new giraffe was gone and some attractions closed.

Took my kids and it was smaller then expected but so worth it, we went around twice to enjoy all the animals and feeding them. Some do get aggressive when you stop feeding but it was a wonderful experience and my kids absolutely loved it.

Absolutely an experience! Had allot of feelings about this place but I can say it was really fun. I won't be going back because of the long horns scratching my car I buffed out what I could but it's not worth getting more. Also the long horns were very aggressive and the horns got a little too close for comfort once coming in the car window about half a foot from my passengers chest. Would love to do it again but the scratches from the long horns is not worth it. All that being said I'm glad I went because it was truly a real up close experience with exotic animals!

I took my daughters and their friend here for the first time and we had an awesome time. I definitely recommend checking it out. We fed the animals and even got to pet a few. With Covid, we weren’t allowed to get out of the car and explore but we still had a great time. The staff was super nice and explained everything when we arrived. I will be visiting again very soon.

Amazing!!! It was so much fun! I think a little more emphasis should be placed on what the rules are instead of just being handed a piece of paper. We bought the bucket of food and had a great time! Only thing we would do differently is RENT one of their vehicles! The animals will jump on your car, slobber etc. Renting a car would have been less of a hassle. Also the camel is pretty aggressive so watch out for that.

We visited the 4/5/21. We’ve always made this a priority stop when traveling because our family always has such a great time and the barrel of laughs that come when the animals put their head in your vehicle. It truly is priceless.However this trip was different. The young lady at the window when entering was rude. EXTREMELY disrespectful and downright rude. If she doesn’t like her job she should find a new one. We were totally bummed about not being able to get out and explore at the end and the animals looked terrible. A lot of them were under weight, missing large patches of hair and some even seemed to weak to even get up and come to our van. We’ve had many years of fun coming here, but afraid this year will have been our last.

Fun place to learn history of the US space program. It’s expensive for a family to come here so plan accordingly. They charge for almost everything interactive once you pay the $30/ea. entrance fee. I get it that they are privately funded so they have to charge to get in. The kids loved it and I loved coming here as a kid myself. The restaurant is a rip off so plan food accordingly.

The tickets are $30 each for entrance, but are 50 percent off on weekdays in February. There are additional charges for many of the activities. The Saturn V is the biggest attraction included with the admission ticket and there are free tours at scheduled times. The tour was worth it. We only had 4 hours on hand to spend here and wish we had more. There's the moon rock, NASA Lunar module, Mars 2020 Perseverance with Ascent vehicle and helicopter, the Apollo 16 command module, the mobile quarantine unit and many other exhibits that should not be missed. Near the building are gravesites of Miss Baker, the first squirrel monkey to go to space and come back alive and her husband.

The whole place was great. I wish the Space Shuttle was back atop the tank. The Planetarium was AMAZING! The guy that did the show for us was funny and gave the crowd an option for "A boring normal planetarium show" or a "Fun and up close and personal and informational experience with the planets." This was almost exactly one year ago, but he did such a good job that I still remember the funny jokes he made up. "I mean, Uranus is the butt of all jokes." I wish I had thanked him in person, but all these months later, I thank you to whoever made that the best experience ever!

The people who work here take great pride in their history. It was great to see all the authentic pieces. We enjoyed the ability to climb into some of them and feel what it was like to be an astronaut. We also liked walking through the replica of the international space station.They have many experiences that are not included in the admission price. So go check then out first before you decide which ones to choose. The place is showing its age.

Wow. Just wow. What an experience. This place did not disappoint! We did 2 planetarium shows: The Sounds of Space and Cosmos and co*cktails. We had the amazing opportunity to speak with two WOMEN who are engineers for NASA. The gift shop employees were super knowledgeable and friendly.The only confusing part was there was no honorable mention to Katherine Johnson (Hidden Figures). It would have been great to see a dedication to her.It was a great experience all in all though.

So many things to see and do. I bought tickets online, which is highly recommended for any of the activities (there were only 3 spots available for flight simulator the day before). Neat to see everything. Very well organized and maintained. Lots of friendly staff. On-site restaurant is a bit expensive.

Core memory! Went with high expectations, and they were fulfilled! I kinda wished I lived nearby so I can make this an annual trip. I would also recommend the rides (especially the MaxFlight and VR experience). Stuff was also super friendly.

I had a great experience here, learning about the space rockets and of course walking the grounds around the static displays. Take about 2.5 hours to walk and read of its uncrowded like the day I went. Also there were rocket scientists present for you to talk to. The hands on portion where you get to control some of the games was really a nice touch. I definitely recommend a visit.

First time visiting. Overall we had a good visit. The four of us was little less than $90. I feel like it’s overpriced, and the food was also overpriced for what you got. So that’s why it has 4 stars. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at some exhibits. There were construction going on so it looked a bit of a mess outside. The kids enjoyed themselves. The employees were friendly and helpful so no issues there. The facilities were clean. It’s wheelchair, stroller friendly, with a mom and baby restroom. I would come back, just not anytime soon. Maybe when the kids are teenagers.

Awesome experience!! Great permanent exhibits, and several temporary ones that change up a couple times a year. This month, they had a really cool Guinness Book of World Records - Science of Play exhibit in the main room! It was so much fun!! There were dozens of different games and challenges for kids of all ages to interact with. I highly, highly recommend going to the 8K Planetarium movie "Our Place in Space" !!! (Tickets are $10-$12 each, but its worth it!)

Even if you're not a big space fan this place has something for everyone. Tons of specs program things inside and out. Old rockets and spacecraft, astronaut items, a real moon rock, the capsule from Apollo 16, and tons of play areas for kids. Such a cool experience to stand under the Saturn V and think of the historic missions it powered. We took our two boys 7 and 4 and they loved everything about the place. You will not regret seeing this place in person.

Not only was it INCREDIBLE to see REAL space crafts that went to SPACE, but a HUGE thank you to the employee who helped me when I got lost. My phone had died, so I couldn't find my family and ended up having a panic attack, but the employee who helped me was so kind and calm and helped me find my way, and I have nothing but appreciation for them! So, 5 stars for both an incredible experience of getting to see and learn all about some incredible space missions, but also for the fantastic customer service!

If you are in Huntsville Alabama you need to come to the U.S Space & Rock Center. I loved seeing the Saturn 5 Space ship and they have a airplane simulator. The G Force ride was very fun but can get you dizzy. There is also a really expensive gift shop if your interested.

What a Great place to spend the Day! So much to see and things to do that are apart of the general admission. There is a number of things that are extra but we didn't do them and still enjoyed the day. 5 year old Grandson loved it. Lots of outside things to walk around and see. The parking is free. There is a gift shop and food court as well

Such an educational, fun museum. There is SO MUCH to see and do. There are so many interactive things for kids and adults to do. There is so much to see, watch, and experience here. We even got to speak with a rocket scientist who has been doing this for 52 years.It's hard to even summarize the experience. Truly, our nations space history spread out. Lots of walking but worth it.The staff is friendly and efficient at answering questions. There are so many restrooms and easy wheelchair access throughout. You could spend a whole day exploring and finding more facts and information. There are outside exhibits and indoor ones. There are tons of picnic tables outside, and there is a cafe with indoor seating as well.Wear your walking shoes and take lots of pictures. It is something your guests will talk about for years to come.

Our family had such a great time visiting the space & rocket center. The staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable. We did the planetarium and although I study space for my degree path, I learned quite a bit about the planets in our solar system. There was also a playground for my 7 year old to play in for a bit before heading back to our hotel. So far it's been the best part of our first time trip to Huntsville.

Quite a cool place to explore - but only if you have a bit more than 1 hour we had (so we ended up just checking it out from outside and then the me gift shop). Not the cheapest but quite large, also with a large gift shop with quite a cool selection. Seems quite kids-focused, great option for families.

If you are a space nerd like me, you will spend all the money, and you will regret nothing, even as they’re renovating right now. One general adult admission ticket was $30. Took about four hours of light sightseeing to cover the museum and the Saturn-V building. This could have easily been the whole day if I went deep in all of the exhibits. They also had actual aerospace engineers wandering around the Saturn-V Instrument Unit display you could ask questions to. (That’s the kind of thing your entry fee is paying for.)Didn’t get to the planetarium this time. Will try for next time. They also have lots of hands-on stuff, and simulators to try out (at an added charge), which I did not partake this time, but looked really cool.Gift shop got me for about $70 in merch on the way out. Very good quality merch, including my new favorite (USA made!) stainless steel water bottle.I’ll happily come back if life brings me back to Huntsville.

This is a decent place to bring young children for an outing. I came during the week so it wasn't so crowded for the most part. Planetarium show was okay, wasn't as exciting as we thought. But worth the $10 while there. Good amount of information regarding space and replica models.

Plants are well identified and kept.Staff is very friendly.Butterfly House is beautiful with many varieties of butterflies you can observe up close. If you sit still, you may be lucky enough to have one land on you.The Children's Garden is amazing!There are facilities are well placed throughout the Garden so you are never far from water or restrooms.Lots of shady spots to hang out on hot sunny days.

Beautiful, serene, fun, playful. The customer service was great! Go to the Visitor's Center first and get your 20% off coupon and if you qualify get your Veteran's discount on top of that! We LOVED all the swings and benches. The architecture is beautiful. The origami art installations were wonderful, too! We heard about a wading pool for kids. On our way out, there was live music. Wednesdays,dueing the summer, you can have dinner and music in the park. It's open until dusk. Just a great way to enjoy nature's beauty. This place is so tranquil! The beautiful flowers, water lands and butterfly house make this place so relaxing.You should give yourself at least an hour or more to fully enjoy the gardens. There are trails, swings, benches, and plenty of photo opportunities.

A lovely experience, no matter the time of year. They offer plenty of exciting activities, from gardening classes to floral sales to small orchestral performances. Summertime is the most beautiful for touring the gardens, as everything is in full bloom and the Butterfly House is brimming with butterflies. Christmastime is also special, featuring a festival of lights, holiday music and treats, and a selection of artwork painted by local children. The cafe provides a pleasant breakfast or lunch for a small fee, and the gift shop's fine offerings change to reflect the seasons. This place never gets old for me. I love it here.

Living in a society that supports education, outdoor activities, and public spaces, it seems almost anachronistic to charge $17 admission and not hand out a paper map. This garden is densely planted, thoughtfully arranged, and offers educational relaxation in the presence of amazing native and imported plants. You see young families swinging with a baby in a hammock, middle aged visitors with huge cameras, children groups, and the odd old couple that stops and stares, always leaving you to wonder if they catch their breaths or ogle at their favorite plant.I have to deduct a star since I came to cross check Trillium species with published descriptions and found the trillium collection not quite living up to its reputation. when I left, I became a member anyways. A place worth my support.

In town for the weekend and the gardens were just a block away! So worth the time to stroll through these beautifully kept gardens! We were there during the Stickworks and swing displays and they were fun to find during our exploration of the gardens. The Children's garden and the butterfly pavilion is a must visit while there! Don't miss those! Make sure you bring sunscreen and water! Although there are lots of shady areas out can get quite steamy in the open areas!

Loved my visit here! An absolutely beautiful location, and we spent at least two hours walking around trying to see everything the garden had to offer, and I know we still didn't manage to see everything! I definitely recommend going! The butterfly house was so cute and I loved the origami art all around.

We went on Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed a relaxing day there. We missed several of the flowers blooming, but there were still plenty to see. They make sure there is plenty of seating of various types to stop, relax, and enjoy the view. There is a children's play area to give them a chance to run off some extra energy while the parents sit in the shade. The butterfly house sits right beside it and is a nice exhibit.

Nice place - very similar to Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. Exceptional visitor center, walkways through the gardens and lush trees. They have weddings there too in beautiful settings. Flowers in spring are spectacular!

This is an experience in Huntsville that you CAN NOT pass up. I went during the summer and I would love to come back in the spring. Absolutely beautiful, a large variety of plants. The butterfly garden is very tranquil. The aquatic garden has a beautiful walkway and there is a play area for children. There are several locations among the trees that have places to sit and take in the surroundings. Also, there is a cafe on the grounds. I would suggest making sure you bring a water bottle to be prepared for the heat if you are going during the summer.

Great little gem in the area. The gardens are well maintained, user friendly, have lots of places that patrons can stop and relax, and many areas offer shade which is fantastic during the hot months. Definitely plan on spending at least an hour touring the gardens. Highly recommend.

Beautiful! We're lucky to have such a lush garden to enjoy here in Huntsville, and they host various activities and classes for the community. It's a great place to bring young kids or just have a solitary walk to enjoy the flowers and greenery. A membership is a great value, especially if you travel because you can see gardens in other cities by showing your card.

Calm and beautiful place to spend your time with or without the kiddos! I have 3 and we all had a pleasant time admiring the views and playing about the trails. It's a good way to get in some walking that is beautiful at every time of the year. Their events are cute too if you ever come in the fall look for the Scarecrow trail the kiddos like that as well as their Christmas lights!

Really beautiful place. Decided to visit here as we were in the area to visit the space center. This place has a surprisingly large children's garden with different themes and also an area where there are small houses. My 8 and 9 year olds loved this place and the turtles that swam in the pond. Lots of scarecrow displays that showcased the autumn season and local organizations. Will come back for sure.

I love this place and you will too! Membership is cheap and you get a lot of other perks with it too! The Purdy butterfly house is my favorite thing to do in the spring/summer, it has such a gorgeous little grotto area!! It's just long enough for a nice walk that isn't tiring. Highly recommend this place and the lovely staff!

" a green oasis with year round activities". Yeah right.We went today and not a single plant was a live. It was all baren plots. The Christmas lights and decorations were still up, and half the park was closed due to construction. No signs to indicate this. Just giant trucks driving on the roads and digging up plots.We were not told everything was dead, and the people at the desk were happy to still charge us $75 for this experience. Don't get me wrong. They were very polite. But we completely wasted our time and money in wandering an acre or so of grass and trees.We expected greenhouses or something worth our time. Nope.

I travel a lot and love going to botanical gardens wherever I go. 95% of places I have been are free with a small exception requesting donations of around $5-$8 which I think is reasonable.This place wants $20 just to walk through. Not a guided tour. No other services than just walking there. I was stupefied. I would have considered maybe $10 but wow.There is a part of me that thinks the ticket price is intentionally high to discourage low-income (usually minority) folks from being present which I hear is an issue in Huntsville. Just go to a park or the much larger gardens in Birmingham which is FREE.

Take a stroll in the natural beauty and bright lights of the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Awesome in the spring and wonderful in the winter, the Gardens is a spectacle year round.My wife and I enjoy this sanctuary and highly recommend.

Beautiful Saturday! I decided to stop in while passing through the area. What a lovely botanical garden! It's not the peak season but the fall decorations were plentiful and made it feel festive. There were scarecrows of varying kinds all over, as well as LOTS of pumpkins and gourds. Thoroughly enjoyable.

My husband and I have been here several times to hike and just enjoy the natural beauty that Monte Sano State Park has to offer. Today was the first time we visited the Japanese Garden. Several of the trees are in bloom and the colors are surreal! The space and trail are very well maintained as well. I'm so happy my husband learned about this spot and took us here for a walk on such a beautiful spring day. I will note that this trail is very easy (I'm 36 weeks pregnant so this was welcomed). So, if you are in the area and want an easy stop, this is one I highly recommend, especially in the spring/summer.

Beautiful nature! Not too crowded but enough people to not be nervous alone. Great for hiking or mountain biking; not the best for trail runs at least not the one I did. Lots of steep loose rock. It is amazing here though.

A gorgeous state park with LOTS of great hiking trails for moderate levels. The trails have lots of roots, rock & exposed bedrock. Gorgeous tall pine trees & sweet smell. Visiting in late October ZERO bugs harassing us. Lots of parking at each lots & many trail options. Day pass is $5 or $4 for seniors or those with golden access cards.

Loved this park. Up on a mountain so camping was cooler. temperature wise. and there are full hookup sites available. Different hiking trails available. Small camp store. If you are going up for camping check the maps. don’t go the way GPS sends you. it is a windy switchblade type road. there is an easier entrance off Governors Drive there are picnic areas and it is dog friendly. Also a playground near the picnic area. outside the campground.

This park is a beautiful breath of fresh air .We were here early spring 3/22/24 so the trees are still bare and most of the flowers un bloomed, however, the ambiance of the tea garden gave more than enough to inspire a marriage proposal.To me, this park resembles commitment, honor, loyalty, duty, respect, responsibility, and the circle of life in harmony (family).Needless to say, i took a piece of Monte Sano with me that day.Dedicated to my wife - 지현

Another great state park in Alabama. We stayed in the campground in a 28 ft RV. There were larger 5th wheels and class A motor homes in the park also. There is plenty of room between sites. Good area for kids to ride bikes. We enjoyed a nice hike on a couple of the many trails available.

Beautiful location but check the map before you go. Google maps brought us in from the northeast on Bankhead Parkway- VERY tight switchbacks, extremely steep and narrow road. We were in a 30’ class C motor home and just barely made the turns.Otherwise, enjoyed our stay.

What a gem! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, they went above and beyond! Eager to interact. Spacious campsites, clean. The bath houses were dated but clean and stocked.We've been coming to Huntsville for years and never knew that there was such a beautiful place within 15 minutes of downtown Huntsville!

This is such a beautiful place to go hiking they have trails that are marked well so u won't get lost.. and the scenery at the top is so beautiful and breathtaking... I would love to see it during sunrise or sunset and take a... But I did get some beautiful pictures picture🥰

There is so much to do and see. I went to 2 different look outs, found one of the 2 water falls (it hadn't rained so only a trickle of water) so relaxing. I was only able to hike about a mile due to time but what I did do was amazing. The silence other than nature was perfect. I will definitely go again next time I am in the area.

A family favorite. Here you'll find walking trails, hidden waterfalls, and some of the most beautiful overlooks in the state of Alabama. This park is huge, and there's something new to see every time you visit.

There are a lot of good things to say about Monte Sano. There are a lot of hiking trails (and options for how far you want to hike). The trails are well marked - and maps are available in the visitor center. The park has disc golf and mountain biking. There is a mountain bike practice area that looks cool, too.We hiked on a chilly December day, so the heated bathrooms by the picnic shelter were a hit. They were clean.Why not 5 stars? It’s a great place for a hike near Huntsville, but the views aren’t breathtaking. The Stone Cut trail is the coolest path, but otherwise just anticipate a nice hike in the outdoors.

Hiked south loop trail and it was all well marked and stopped near the campsite for the view! Bathrooms were clean and loved the Japanese Garden. Even saw a momma deer and her fawn and they weren't scared of us at all!

Lots of hiking trails through the woods. Not a lot to see. There is an overlook where you get a unique view of the city, and you can see all the way to the rocket (and beyond)

Such a nice state park, so many nice trails and the staff was super friendly. RV sites were also nice and pretty level. Nice playground and plenty to do.

The park is very well-maintained! The trails and views are simply breathtaking. There is so much to do here from overnight stays in the cabins. We’re bringing your camper up here and enjoying the fresh mountain air. This is truly a great place to bring your family and friends for a nice day out enjoying nature.

Please fix the only bathrooms we seen near the campground. They were both very disgusting today and neither would flush and if I have to pay $10 for 2 people to come in your park I’d like somewhere clean to be able use the bathroom. The park itself is quite beautiful. Will be back. Hopefully I can change this review next time we come.

Head on down to the square and enjoy more of the Franklin/Jack Daniel’s vibe. The Hardware store staff are pleasant and helpful. They handle the steady flow of guests very well! Glad to have the chance to purchase a few souvenirs… they have a great selection, from cooking seasonings to front door mats, t-shirts to barrels. (The barrel shop is connected). Nice courtesy gifts too - free shot glass given when you show your tour ticket and make a $10 purchase, as well as the souvenir tin if making a $75 purchase.

Oh my gosh this place is awesome!!! We went on a dry distillery tour and it was so cool to hear about the history of it all. When it was all said and done we walked down and across the street back to the truck and asked the two guys guilding people to the shuttle and answering questions, and Barry told us to check out the Lynchburg Hardware & General Store cause that's the main Jack Daniel's store, so we did just that. There were two floors of products of every type like the golf section and the fire fighter area. There was so much merchandise it was just amazing. Everybody got their own shirt and all of them were something you could only get there. They were unique. We also got a military discount and shot glasses for every $10 bucks we spent. The store was clean and organized, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we all got everything we wanted.

Visiting from Ohio and made several apparel purchases. Without going into specifics, we ran into a bit of an issue once we returned home. Talked with Crystal who helped us resolve the problem. Great, hassle-free customer service!! Southern hospitality at its finest. Would definitely shop here again.

My husband and I took the Flight of Jack tour today!!!! I would highly recommend this for everyone, whether you are a Jack Daniels fan or not. So informative. Our tour guide Lea did an amazing job ( it was his first)!!! The property is beautiful !! And of course the flight tasting was the icing cake!!!!

Great stop while you are in town. Has a lot of Jack Daniels items to buy. Prices are as expected. If you do a tour come here after and get a free shot glass with a $10 purchase. One per person. If your a Jack Daniels fan you will find something to buy if your not then you won’t. Simple as that. They have a shop that makes “stuff” out of the barrels. That was worth coming by to check out as if you need something for your bar at home this is the place to get something.

It's an old hardware store that has ties to the distillery. It is now being used as the official gift shop of Jack Daniels. It's very spacious and has unique items and gifts for the Jack Daniel's lover. My favorite part of the store was the handmade crafts made from the old used barrels.

Whether you want a sweatshirt, t-shirt, dress shirt, barware, key chain, recipe book, post card, food items, you can find it here! You can even buy a used Jack Daniels whiskey barrel or half barrel here. Very detail in history from the past and into the present. I also loved they have a wall of this African American family when they started working for the company and still going into today. And telling us that its spring water , corn , wheat and barley for the making of whiskey. It's so natural and fresh. (I think I'm right on the ingredients. ) It was amazing I really enjoyed it. I believe I will drink more of Jack Daniel's whiskey more now that I see how it's made they put love and care into the product and also to its employees from when it started to even now. The tour of the Jack Daniels distillery was the highlight of our Nashville vacation. It's a beautiful hour and a half drive through horse and cow farms, hills, dales and gorgeous country. Even though my husband is a Tennessee Squire and gets free tours, we chose to pay $35 each for the Angel's Share tour for the tasting. Everyone says their tour guide was the best, that a testament to Jack Daniels hiring process, because Bob, our tour guide, was the best. : ) . For $7, we also chose a JD slushy during the tour. Mine was Lemonade and JD and my husband had the regular JD and co*ke slushy. Delicious! We thought we'd purchase some special bottles and ship them home only to find out it is illegal to do so. Heehee. Our only option was to pack it in our luggage but since we already had new cowboy boots : ) to pack, we had no room. Just as well, because the prices were almost triple than our prices back home in CT. We questioned why the prices were substantially higher and was explained about the dry county thing, prices reflect that. After our tour, we walked to the town where there is shops, restaurants, bakeries as well as a Harley Davidson store. Overall, wear comfortable shoes as you'll do some walking. Overall, you gotta do the tour if you're in Tennessee.

We had a wonderful time on our Angel’s Share tour! Our guide Morgan was incredible. He did not rush us, he was very informative and knowledgeable about everything Jack Daniel’s, had a great sense of humor and answered all of our questions. He was very thoughtful in discreetly asking us if one of the people in our party needed any additional assistance due to some mobility issues and the number of stairs throughout the tour. Definitely recommend this tour, even if you don’t drink like me.

Loved this tour. Price is great and worth the drive from Nashville. We aren’t drinkers but it was so neat to learn the history. Our tour guide was Sean D and he was great, funny, informational and full of interesting facts. Would definitely go again and ask for him. Thank you Sean D for making our time great!

Visiting the Jack Daniels Distillery was an all around amazing experience that I highly recommended for everyone; whiskey drinkers or not. This was the starting point for our tour, but there is a ton of interesting history to learn about here before the tour even starts. This visitor center is quite new and it is well laid out, meticulous clean, and staffed with friendly, helpful staff. The tour itself was phenomenal! Rich in history and detail. Our tour guide - and I wish I'd gotten her name because she was absolutely outstanding - was so knowledgeable and instantly had an answer to ever question asked; and there were a lot of questions. I unequivocally recommended a trip to Lynchburg if you are anywhere near the area. You will not be disappointed.

Made reservations in advanced estimating an arrival as we drove up from Georgia. We arrived earlier than expected, but they were able to move my reservation to an earlier time. I believe Anthony was out guide, and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining with the information. Highly recommend the Flight of Jack Tour, worth every bit of the 90 min tour.

It was my first time visit to any distillery. Great friendly stuff. We selected the angle tour and it was amazing. They showed us in detail how the worlds best whiskey is made. The secret water was the best cool place. So lucky we could see the water flow. Tasting area was also great setup.You get to take the tasting glasses home as souvenirs but their plastic glass.I wish the coster were strong material as the once they gave us were paper.They also showed us single barrel bottling area.Visited the gift store and overall great experience. My guided tour was Amazing being lead by a very talented and knowledgeable X Marine, Brian R was the BEST! I truly appreciate his dedication to his craft and the company he represents. He made the tour fun and interesting. A wealth of knowledge about the distillery business and process. I was also very fortunate to meet Ms Kathy at the Tenn Squires Asso who helped me reinstate my membership and shared information about the association and my future participation. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I think it was chiefly due to our amazing guide Justin aka Juice! Even before our tour started and Justin knew we were part of his tour he had stopped to greet us. We were looking at the family tree of Nearest Green and Justin identified people he knew and some fun facts about them. Justin was so friendly, jovial, and informative. His wit, warmth, obvious experience were second only to his passion for what he did and where he did it. You should DEFINITELY put this on your list of things to do while in the area!

What an amazingly fun and informative tour! The sheer amount of knowledge our tour guide, Matt, has in his head was dazzling! I have no doubt that if I were to take another tour with the same man, I would still learn something new! The nearly 2 hour tour went by far too fast. We could've spent the entire day and still needed more time to take it all in. Truly, the only part of the tourbi would change would be the length of time spent... we would have loved to be able to spend more time with Matt and have been able to take more time at each stop of the tour. We will be back! And don't forget your whiskey trail poker chips as you get your map stamped.

Absolute worth every penny. The service was great. If you can buy your tour tickets online. I did see some people get tickets the day of. We did the dry county one but you can still buy a tasting ticket after for 15 bucks extra per person. Our tour guide Ms Kim was the best part of my whole trip! She was beyond amazing and sooo funny! The actual tour was superb! Can’t say enough great things! I walked out with many bottles that I bought after the tour!

This place is one of the best distillery tours I went on. We took the Angles share tour ( pre booking is recommended) and we had lots of fun. It was raining a bit and weather was perfect so we don’t get tired in sun. Our Tour guide Debbie was amazing and she explained us the history of Jack and distillery perfectly. There process of making whisky is almost similar to everyone else except a little bit of new process which I saw only at JD distillery, which was amazing.The tour starts with smelling the amazing slit whiskey and it smells heaven. Then Debbie explained us the history of Jack and how he started making whiskey. He had an interesting history and glad he succeeded in it.Overall the whole tour was amazing.We had a sample tasting at the end of tour and we got 5 samples to taste. They had different flavor profiles and tastes to it. It was fun to taste them and know the difference.There is a shop on-site where you can buy the bottles and customize couple of bottles. I wish they had accessories on-site to buy also. But they do have a hardware store that sells JD merchandises, they do close at 5pm though and we missed it.Overall this was an amazing experience.

We did the Angels Share tour and it’s outstanding. I’ve been on maybe 10 different distillery tours and this is up there, it’s very well done. Tasting room is also incredible! Only downside and I’m not gonna knock them for it, is the bottle shop onsite is MINIMAL.

The tour does not allow strollers, which can make it challenging for parents with young children. It was nothing short of awesome and provided a perfect way to conclude the tour. The blend of Jack Daniel's whiskey with the classic cola was a delightful treat.In summary, the Jack Daniel Distillery offers an engaging and informative tour, led by passionate guides like ours. My experience was wonderful! We chose The Angel's Share Tour. Our tour guide was Anthony. He is probably the best guide in the distillery. He was super friendly, attentive and funny. At the end of the tour, I asked him for a photo, and he agreed to take one with me! We went in August and the tour started at 10:45 am sharp, we had a whiskey tasting and then we went shopping for souvenirs. We were in Lynchburg for almost 4 hours, it is a charming town. We would have stayed longer but we already had a tractor party booked. Go to this beautiful place, you will not regret it!

Very informative for those who know a lot or just a little about the distilling process. The walk was great, just be ready for some stairs! The tour capped off with a tasting, which was very nice even for someone who gravitates to bourbon! The whole experience was awesome!

I along with my wife took the "Flight of Jack Daniel's tour" during labor day weekend last year and we have become fans of this place.I say this as a tee-totaler that this place should be a must visit on your list if you are ever visiting Nashville. Here is the summary of our visit there:-- Location: This place is about 3.5 hours from Atlanta and 1.5 hours from Nashville. The funny part is that the distillery is part of a dry county where drinking in not allowed *wink*wink*-- Tickets: While we did the flight of Jack Daniels tour which is 1.5 hours long, there are many others available which are both with and without wine tasting. We had 6 different wine tasting - only a sip of their finest world famous whiskey. Booking in advance is a must--- Tour: The tour was amazing as so was out tour guide. I forgot her name but she made sure to answer all the questions, explain the process with her wit and jokes all the time.--- Value for Money: An absolute banger of a money. We paid $30 for the tour and it was totally worth it.Since the visitor, I have become their unofficial promoter and I promote the place to all my friends.I cannot recommend this place enough for the tour, the vibe and the history of Jack Daniels :)

Fantastic tour! Juliet was our tour guide and she was very informative, funny and patient with us. Whiskey tasting was also outstanding. I learned I am not a single barrel enthusiast! The landscape was breathtaking as well…very well maintained. Even on a rainy day, this tour is worth it. Highly recommend visiting and take it the tour.

Came out for a group work trip and we all went on the tour. The tour was great and Anthony was an awesome guide. Altogether the tour with the tasting was just over an hour and a half long but we were also one of the last groups for the day. The walk was maybe a half mile and there were decent stairs, but nothing terrible. Majority of this tour is outside, so prepare accordingly.

We visited the distillery on 2/24/24. We did the Angel's Share Tour, our tour guide was Kyle. Kyle was a fantastic tour guide, he was funny, energetic, and knew so much great history about Jack Daniels. We were so surprised at how big this distillery is, the property is so beautiful! At the end of this tour, we got to sample five different types of Jack Daniels from the barrel. We'd recommend visiting this distillery to anyone!

Jack is my poison so I was excited to do this tour for my birthday. My tour was the Angel tour for 9:15 a.m on April 6th. My tour guide was Kim who is absolutely AMAZING!!! She made the tour fun, she has a very bubbly personality but not the annoying kind. Kim is funny, very informative and just all around great personality, she loves her job and you can tell. Our tour started off with a short bus ride where we got off to start the tour by foot, and get a slushie (if you purchase one, which I recommend you do). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with a lot of photo opportunities as you can't take photos inside. Kim walked us through the history of Jack himself, how he started making the whiskey, who helped him and so much more. I love history so to hear how it all started and to see where it is today is absolutely amazing. At the end we did some taste testing. The taste testing was very interesting because as much as I like Jack I stick with what I know, so to taste the ones made of rye was new to my taste buds. After the tour we went inside to look at our picture that was taken before we went in and we were greeted by Jeff. Jeff helped us with purchasing our picture, and explained to me how the personalized branding for a bittle worked. I went and purchased my bottle of gentleman Jack, paid for it and went back to Jeff where he helped me finalize the branding portion. Jeff was very pleasant to chat with and very helpful when it came to all of my questions. I recommend this tour if you like history and love Jack. Take a tour with Kim, you're guaranteed to laugh and learn all at the same time. I'd definitely do this again.

The tour is amazing, really quick, really educational, some history, some how a long living brand starter and how it is surviving among all those years and being sold all over the world. And a business school model lesson . And Jed was AMAZING and fun to talk. Definitely a good experience.

Due to mobility issues and my husband in a motorized wheelchair, we had the modified tour which made sure there were no stairs involved. We were the only 2 people on the 1:35pm tour today and it was incredible. Our guide, Debbie, was the absolute nicest, most knowledgeable guide we have had and treated us with care and dignity. She really made our tour special. It is a very interesting tour and would highly recommend...

What a fun, and free, stop! World's (new) Largest Cedar Bucket, really neat old buildings and history. The QR codes on the buildings are a great touch so you can see the interiors even when they are closed!Be sure to stop by the cute little gift shop for some yummy ice cream, neat trinkets, a site brochure, clean bathrooms, and an informative talk by the employees who work there!

Nice way to spend an afternoon. While the structures are of olden times, most buildings have been moved here from other places in Tennessee. It was educational to look inside the buildings to see how people lived, worked, and played back yonder. Plenty of parking.

Decided to check out a few places in Murfreesboro ( visiting Tennessee). This place is a nice place to bring kids if your in to history. Period correct buildings, nice vintage tractor display and the staff was friendly and informative. No reenactment while I was here but I understand at times there is. It's free!!! And just across the creek is a nice place to picnic.

Great walk through past living conditions. Kind staff, simple layout but go at your own pace. Restrooms available across grounds & visitor center helpful & has cute items to purchase by locals. Oct 28 2023 will be Harvest Day fun, sorry to miss. Blacksmith wasn’t on staff and no guided tour but fun time w the kids and played checkers on the grounds!

Cannonsburgh is so much fun to visit - whether a regular workday or a weekend festival. The pioneer era village is highly detailed and set up to view inside. Usually there are artisans and staff there to explain the equipment and settings. Many beautiful weddings have been held there and every time we have gone we’ve seen some great live music and dancing.

Very well maintained and historical info was interesting. It is worth seeing and fills in a two hour time period. Check it out!

Totally free 1880 old town experience, but if you enjoyed you should leave a tip, the woman was super friendly, she gave us a introduction, you will spent one hour to see all the buildings, its a clean place, they have outdoor tables to play chess, 5 stars

History is always interesting especially when it's presented to you with actual examples from the past. For me, it's amazing to see how well they were able to construct their facilities and machinery in those days. It was all available to see and review. Well worth the trip for me.

Cool, small historic village that you can tour and learn about the history of the communities around Murfreesboro. The historical farming equipment is awesome!

Went on a dreary, drizzly, rainy day so not all the buildings were open but definitely enjoyed it and learned a lot! Dont have room to post all my pictures on here but definitely a lot of history to be learned!!Went into art league which is also located here, talked to a couple ladies, looked at the art for sale, a lot of hidden talent there!

Really great national historic site with a lot of intentionality put into capturing the history and events that took place. A few monuments that you were able to go see (accessible by walking) definitely add to the experience. This is a park that enables you to stop by on a day trip to Murfreesboro and is generally accessible by car. There’s pretty great biking infrastructure, and a visitor center that allows visitors to walk through a chronological record of “Hell’s Half Acre”

Well designed visitor center that allows you to learn about the site and battle while also remaining respectful to the fallen soldiers and remaining apolitical. The NPS did a nice job of presenting this without a prejudice for one side being better or worse--specifically I didn't recall seeing any information on which side won the battle.It's about 8 minutes from the interstate and you can enjoy the full visitor center experience in as little as 30 minutes.

If you are looking for a outing with the family or just want to get out and learn about the civil war and the struggles these men went through.This place is one of the largest battles and most causalities occurred in a short three day period.It’s humbling to walk amongst the soldiers graves and see the many that gave their lives during the battle.They have a guided tour you can take or you can go in your vehicle and drive among the trail to the actual battlefield places.Such a great trip for learning and seeing what they went through.

We are always pursuing more passport stamps! My kids enjoyed the Visitor Center and the drive through the battleground and past the Stone River National Cemetery. We saw 4 wild turkeys as we drove in and they "talked back" when my girls called to them "Gobble, gobble, gobble!" Junior Ranger activity books are free for kids, and completing one will earn them a badge. We spent some time (and money) in the gift shop... a bird guide, a couple children's books, Christmas ornament, and more stickers to stamp for our forgotten at home passport! Also there was a book for Family Activities. I do recommend as a great place to visit and learn some history and about local wildlife. There is a short educational film that shows reenactments (including head wounds and dead bodies) my girls found this a bit upsetting and said, "I hate wars, they make people die!" In my opinion, that's an excellent take away! I enjoyed the quotes from Ed Abbott.

Just stumbled onto this on our trip as we were making a stop in Murfeesboro and had some downtime to be able to visit this battlefield. Neat little battlefield that is very accessible to walk around, drive to and spend an easy 1-2 hours here tops.You will not be spending hours and hours here to see everything but for a a battlefield I didn't know exist before visiting, it was worth a little detour to get out and stretch our legs.

This park is awesome. Unfortunately, the history behind it is not, but the presentation of the history and historical facts at the time is just great. It is also horrifying at times to realize what those soldiers went through.I highly recommend taking in the whole park. It is truly an experience. The slaughter pen is unbelievable, especially when you realize the horrifying battle that occurred there.The folks at the visitor center were extremely helpful and friendly.Do not miss out on this park for sure if you are in the area.

This is a battle field during the Civil War. This park you can drive to locations within the park to see certain important locations. You have an option to hear free audio (off your phone from a number you call) of the area you are in. If you enjoy history this can be a nice place to visit.

There has definitely been a lot of work put into this place lately. I haven't gone here since I was a kid on a field trip. There are bike Lanes car Lanes and just beautiful surroundings. We even got to see deer!

Stones River is nice to have in town for a casual stroll. Today was a great fall day! Those who are into history will find this place rich with information about a time before..

I appreciated that it was possible to visit this despite not having a lot of time. I was able to complete the visitor center and 5 of the outdoor sites in about 1.5 hours.The rock formations in the Slaughter Pen were interesting.

Tucked into a city, this is a great place to see nature. I was surrounded by deer the morning I was there. As far as following the battle, it's not the easiest place to do so. If you have knowledge of the battle then what you see and walk/drive to would make some sense. There are very few plaques and almost no monuments. The visitor center is nice and the rangers there are very knowledgeable. Having the natl. Park app helps to follow along some of the high points that are preserved within the park.

We did the booklets for junior rangers- ages 13-6 and it was fun. The books will be updated to the park for better outlining they stated, as it was a bit all over the place where to find the clues. The staff were super friendly & engaging. We absorbed history & discussed many aspects of war and the struggles as well as that each longed for home. They had audio to listen to writings. The only downfall we had was the field being sprayed where the tombstones were and figuring how to maneuver out without inhaling or getting on shoes. Cross walks have buttons you press to alert passing street to different portions to the park. Very clean bathrooms and great gift shop. Highly recommend the park.

We will have to come back on a warmer day to walk the trails, but the driving tour was fun and perfectly fit the hour of free time we had while in the area. The visitors center was informative and rangers were friendly and helpful.

Humbling to say the least, a great spot loaded with history. An interesting multi stop tour of the battlefield, a cemetery, a nice museum & gift shop.

The visitors center was great! We were greeted with a smile and given a map. We toured the small museum which was very informative and nicely laid out. The outdoor area had a a few monuments and fields but left a lot to be desired. I definitely recommend if you enjoy taking a walk and learning about history.

It was an amazing experience walking the trails of this Battleground and learning its history via the visitor's center and the National Parks employees.

We stayed here in early October with family and friends and it was a perfect long weekend. We stayed in a camper in campsite 3 on one of the more private lots. It was the first weekend that the weather started getting really cool at night so we really enjoyed the campfire. The amenities are great at this park. Firewood is easily accessible at the store and very affordable. There are several parks with swings, slides, and jungle gyms which was a big deal for my 4 year old. For any grocery needs there is a very well stocked dollar general less than a mile up the road, and an Aldis not far away. There are showers on site and while they aren't perfect, the water gets nice and hot and they are spacious. The only issue is there is no curtain or partition to keep your clothes and toiletries bag from getting wet. Best advice- put it in the farthest corner near the door and if you have a trash bag put it over your stuff. The park itself is beautiful. There are deer everywhere and all kinds of other wildlife. The hiking trails are great as well. Overall we really enjoyed Cedars of Lebanon and we will definitely be back in the near future.

I really enjoyed my hike. Trail(Hidden Springs)was rather muddy but still a good trek. The bathrooms inside guest services was clean and well taken care of.

It was very nice. Even tho it rained all weekend we had a good time camping. The Hidden Spring hiking loop was a beautiful hike. The waterfall into the cave (it was flowing quite a bit) was absolutely stunning. They have clean bathrooms and HOT showers. I would definitely like to go back when it isn't going to rain all weekend. Highly recommend!

Wonderful park with friendly staff. Lots of great hiking trails. The visitor center is small but well kept and easily accessible.There are clean restrooms inside the visitor center and a half mile loop hiking trial.There are shelters, picnic tables, kids play area, tennis court, beautiful butterfly garden and information center.There is also Jackson cave which requires permit to enter of course.Campgrounds and Cabin are available which can be reserved online or at the check-in station.Beautiful place to be irrespective of the time of the year!

First time camping here. We had a great experience!Online reservations for booking a campsite was easy. Price was great and you had an option to round up your cost to donate to the park. **PET FRIENDLY**Campground 1 sites are closer together than campground 2 & 3’s. But great atmosphere either way. Cabins are offered here too.Bathrooms were clean. The showers (at least in the ladies restroom at campground 1) did not have a shower curtain; but if you hang your stuff on the hooks your things should stay dry.There is a spot to do laundry here if you’re a camper. We did not use this amenity, but it’s great to know for future!A few playgrounds, a few trails, lots of nature!Heavy ranger presence at the parks, which I was surprised by- but thankful for.Staff was super friendly at check in and purchasing firewood at the gift shop/check in office. A gas station for basics is right outside the park, and there is a Dollar general down the road and further down the road is a WalmartWe will definitely be back!

Lovely state park! It was very clean and well maintained. It is very dog friendly, as long as they're leashed. Lots of trails to hike and beautiful areas to see. Jackson Cave was very nice, just watch for unattended children throwing rocks off the top. Hidden Springs Trail was super great. Loved finding the Spring and listening to it.

Great park. There is a nice car loop for a drive and you can drive into the state forest as well. Come out in Noreen and it's only 20 minutes back to town. Hiking loops are .5 mile to 5 miles. Not bad at all and very clearly marked. A splash pad and many camping sites. Very peaceful.

We were so impressed with how much there was to do at this campground! There are so many trails, playgrounds,and bike/walk friendly roads. Our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The sites were a bit cramped (our rig is 31') and parking our truck was a bit tricky. The store was convenient ands the staff were helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay again-- it was absolutely beautiful!

I rented a space for my camper for drill weekend to save some money! I got there late and found that the space I rented needed a converter for my plug! When I made the reservation I told them 30 amp…luckily there was a helpful neighbor that had one or I would have west all night. I had to buy one from their store. There went some of the money I saved…next time it’s a hotel room for me

Winner in all ways. Great staff, and they do a great job of maintaining the park. Beautiful sites and in the AAA section big rigs have NO problems fitting or maneuvering. Very cool nature center/butterfly and hummer gardens. And there is a cave you can explore with a wash station after spelunking. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Close to Nashville too.

We booked an RV spot for overnight camping and we enjoyed the peace, quiet and secure spot. The shower and restroom was right opposite to area 3 with heaters and hot water which was such a plus on a cold morning. The park was almost full in December which definitely gave us the impression that Cedar park is very popular. All the amenities were as expected.We ended up hiking a 2 mile trail and we saw many deers and squirrels which was pretty exciting for my dogs!There wasn’t any check in process which helped us coming in late at night and we ended up spending a rather slow morning before heading out.The park is very well maintained with rangers around during the day.

We had camped here before and really liked the place. This time was different. Our site was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Had to clean beer cans and aluminum foil from the fire ring. Our grille had dozens of cigarette butts in it, so we used our own grill. A nearby site had a couple that played loud music and commercials that resounded throughout the campground. Not the park's fault, unless they allow it to continue, which they did. The same campers used the sink in the bathroom to wash their dishes (gross), and left trash on their site that was still there 2 days after they left. Exactly what are the camp hosts doing? Since there is not much to do in the area, without going to Nashville, I doubt we'll return.

This Park's Staff are truly pros! Our hiking club wanted to have a Christmas party in one of the shelters. That particular shelter was undergoing repairs on the fireplace. Having a shelter with a working fireplace was an essential part of our plan...and comfort. Prior to me reserving the shelter, Park staff member Teresa consulted with the Park manager and maintenance personnel to confirm the firm completion date of the repair. Not only was the fireplace completed in time for our party, Teresa communicated throughout the process to ease my peace of mind. I'll be honest, rarely have my experiences dealing with any aspect of the State of Tennessee been handled with efficiency and dispatch. This time however, it was. Very professional. The shelter was repaired, tidy and clean for our party. They even left the (super clean) bathrooms open this late in the year for us! Could not be happier. THANK YOU to all that helped with getting the shelter ready!!

Would definitely recommend this park. it's a nice place to bring your pets get some exercise and enjoy the relaxing setting. I always try and bring a bag to help pick up garbage while playing Disc Golf. Help keep the place looking great!

We love camping here. The campsites are good for RVs and Tent (we are tent campers). The bathhouse is decent and temperature controlled. There is a good disc golf course and three playgrounds. 😀 Our favorite thing to do here is the annual Halloween campground trick or treating. Also, a good place to get married as they have beautiful buildings.

Our stay was short and sweet but it was our 3rd stay because we love it! This time we were just stopping to break up our drive home but we were able to take a nice long walk and smell the incredible aromatic cedar trees and that can’t be beat! At night we had a roaring fire that also smelled like heaven. We left very early in the morning with regrets that we couldn’t stay longer. We will be back!!!

Haven't stayed there yet but seems like a really neat looking place. Campsites are way too expensive compared to other places you can camp in middle Tennessee. $40 a night for a campsite is reasonable but they quoted me $50 ish and that was before tax and fees . (Or that's the way I understood it. Cabins are also a bit high priced, even in the off season when nobodys renting them. When I went through there I only saw one cabin for rented and they were still charging $156 a night on the smallest one in the off season. It was cold out lol. Think they should be more reasonable with there prices, especially when they can't even rent them or potentially keep them rented for the price they charge (just my opinion, may not be the case. I only visited the park once . I drove around in there and looked at everything for a couple hours, stopped and asked questions at the front desk etc.

Great place for hiking whether you are looking for short, easy trails, moderate trails, or even multi-hour long hikes. Cedars is beautiful year round and the staff at the welcome center are incredibly helpful and kind!

This is definitely a place to visit. The park is beautiful. The visitor center is amazing. Katherine was such a pleasure to spend time with. We were able to make survival bracelets with her. She was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. We also got to watch the snakes feed. What a great place!

The best horse ranch ever! Had the absolute pleasure of working with Lydia (the owner) and her three beautiful horses for a photoshoot while I was in town visiting. Called so many ranches and NO ONE would let me use their horses as models but Lydia said her horses loved to have their pictures taken and boy was she right! We had such a blast; They were calm, friendly and so patient...And Lydia was so kind and easy to talk to! She treats her horses with so much love + respect and it really shows. Couldn't have asked for a better experience - This is the ONLY place to be in Tennessee! <3

Beyond impressed with place so much that we had to go TWICE!! Such great guides and owners we had a blast both times! The horses have so much personality it made for a great ride! Views were gorgeous and we saw so many animals too even on our trail ride! Definitely recommend it was worth the hour drive BOTH TIMES…

We had the best time hiking for an hr with some of the most amazing horses. We even took our 5 and 2 year old and they had a amazing time.

We went for a 1 hour trail ride here. The horses, our guide and the tour were great! Really enjoyed our experience. It’s clear that the horses are well looked after and our guide was enthusiastic and really friendly. Hope to be back at some point in the future!

I called to book but they couldn’t accommodate me at the time. The reason I’m leaving a great rating is because they took the time, after several phone calls, to help find another stable that could accommodate me and my daughter. I have so much respect for people who take the time to help others with nothing to gain. I never leave reviews but I felt like I had to do something for them.

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. $35.00 for an hour ride through the woods, stream, field, and beautiful trails the whole ride. 250 lb weight limit and have to call for reservations. A must do while in TN....loved it and it was my first time on a horse in my whole 52 years❤❤❤

We had so much fun with our small group from Northridge Church White House Tn, Making Her story. Beautiful horses and a beautiful ride through the woods and pastures. Staff are friendly and make you feel ease .. love to go all the time here . It a great park; we always have gone there, and every year, it keeps getting better. This past weekend, the weather was great to get the camper out from winter hibernation and get out. It was packed with guests hiking and enjoying the weather. Camp host were very friendly.

Such a fun state park! If you like fishing, hiking and a ton of wildlife sightings then this park is for you!They have a lovely campground, beautiful hiking trails and a great group of staff and rangers. It’s just on the outskirts of Gallitin, TN. Stop by when you have a chance. It’s wonderful!

Really nice campground. First time here and all staff and rangers have been very nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to camp. We definitely will be back.Nice to see wildlife in the park also. Have seen a ton of deer walking around and not too far away. Has been very quiet compared to a lot of other places we have stayed. Have heard owls and other nightlife talking. Very comforting place.

Bledsoe park is relatively small as state parks go, but offers nice easy trails and areas that are perfect for the whole family. Just behind the visitor's center is a paved trail area that's perfect for kids and those less mobile. There is a large playground and a few game areas too. The Shoreline trail will take you all the way around the park and is about 4 miles of easy to moderate difficulty (mostly easy but there is a section that goes down to the lakefront that's a little steep). No fishing or swimming at this park though.

Went for a guided evening kayak tour around the park, and it was awesome. Noticed a good amount of campers in the park, but all quiet groups enjoying the peacefulness, which is something, as a camper, I love to see.

Great campground, super friendly people. Pretty decent hiking trails. The hammock spots are the most private ones. Lots of animals. We seen raccoons, owls, a turtle, caterpillars, deer, armadillo, squirrels, and a few more. CHECK THOROUGHLY FOR TICS!!! We got like 6 each the first week and seen tons of babies but they can't bite you yet.

Just attended the 8th Annual History Trail here with my 3 and 5 year old. What a BEAUTIFUL campground! It I had an RV, I would definitely take it here. There are such lovely trails all over, a nice playground for the children, clean restroom facilities, not to mention the actual History Trail, which was amazing. If you've never been, you should go! The views of the lake were splendid, and everything was so pretty. We even saw a deer. ♥️ 🦌

First trip to our first Tennessee State Park. Stopped at the welcome center and learned much information about the park, and other parks. Very friendly and welcoming. We walked the paved paths on our first visit...camping, fishing and boating is available in addition to the over 4.5 miles of hiking trails available. There is a playground and picnic tables near the welcome center. Looking forward to exploring more!

This park is a no-brainer if you're a nature lover. The trailers are great if you like a little exercise with your nature. There are bountiful deer to look at as well as birds and turtles. Great place for the family.

Came here last week for a hike and it did not disappoint! With 7 different trailers of varying lengths and difficulty, it’s a great place to come and try out! Will be back next weekend for another hike!

I'm a bit biased because I'm a local. Bledsoe has a nice campground with several water sites. The trails are nice and this is an overall peaceful place for walks, camping, light hiking and peace and quiet away from the business we all get wrapped up in. We try to camp here once a year. I love the wildlife here too.

It's one of the top 5 on my list because the trails are well blazed and the amenities are great. Any monies that park received was well used for visitors center, restrooms, playground and trails. The RV camping is near trails and lake. They also offer Storybook trail for children that is the 2nd one I've seen so far in the park's I've visited. There's a few docks to stop and take pic's of Lake and the trails connect if wanting to hike further. So so many 🦌 everywhere plus plenty of bird sightings. Easy terrain you can do without heavy boots. Just a wonderful easy hike with friends and family. Enjoy. 🦌🐿🐦🐢🦃🐾

The park is a beautiful representation of how Tennessee looks and feels. The trails are easy to hike with beautiful scenic views of the waterway for any age to enjoy. The information given around the park is fascinating and informative. The park Rangers and staff are wonderfully nice and seem to care for the area as it is well maintained. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxed, wonderful experience.

Bledsoe Creek is a small State Park, but it offers camping, hiking, boating, playground, and history. One of the trails is set up for children, educating them on the foliage and wildlife in the park. Some trails are paved, making them suitable for handicap access. Dogs are permitted on the trails. There are lots of benches making even a casual walk enjoyable. The longest trail is a combination of the Lakeside and High trails and is suitable for training for a 5K run. Its total length is about 3.1 miles. The park provides a safe environment for families since it is regularly patrolled by Rangers. Cell reception is strong enough to play music on my phone throughout the park.

The rangers and other staff are always so nice! Good hiking with a varied terrain. Watch out for little tree roots along the lake edge - they will trip you up! Great visitor center. Really like this park.

I've been hiking Bledsoe for 25 years. It is one of the best places to hike to maintain endurance without having to drive a long distance. Give their trails a try! Also very family friendly! Great staff, too!

Beautiful campground. Super friendly park rangers. Clean restrooms. Large campsites.A couple negatives: sign on restroom says showers cost $5, pay at office. Arriving early isn't a good here. You I'll have to wait at the boat launch til your site is clean.Despite those two things, it's still a great place to camp!

Ive been going to The Mint casino, Franklin, TN for a year now. I love this casino’s atmosphere but I have been in there almost every weekend playing high bets and have not won any good money! The most I’ve won was $1,875 and Ive spent THOUSANDs of dollars in this place. I have a membership/rewards card and I’ve been Gold, platinum, Diamond 3 times! Have never won a Major or jackpot. The payouts are ridiculous! You have to keep feeding the Machine for free spins to still not win any good money. I thought casinos would keep up with their members and reward those that consistently come back because it is a business! They have to do better with people who’s in there playing all the time for the love of just being at their casino. We are the people that consistently come back! Unfortunately for them I’m not going back. They made too much money off me for small payouts. ✌🏾

The Mint is always fun, clean, and safe. I go late morning, every 6 weeks or so. Yesterday I had $5 in free slot play, and hit the Lucky Leprechaun for $50.60 just playing minimum bet, then hit it again for $35.25. No wonder it's always occupied and couples "tag team it" so no one can get on it!Moved to my other favorite machine near the restrooms (big white tiger on front display), put in 2 $5 bills, got a bonus round, hit it for $55.70. Not bad for an hour of fun! They have a lot of fun perks for slot club members, not crowded weekdays. There were bonus round bells going off all around me. We were just traveling through and we saw a billboard and we thought we would stop. It seems like a pretty new place. Was very clean it wasn't too smoky, but it was early on a Sunday when we were traveling and maybe all the smokers weren't there yet. They did have a non-smoking area up on the second floor, but it was very small and very few games. My husband and I being non-smokers, my husband an ex-smoker we really would like to see casinos really expand their non-smoking areas.

We arrived late to town during business travel. This was pretty much the only place open serving drinks and dinner. The happy place we found was down by the DJ. Dancing is fun whether you are winning or losing.

I love the atmosphere and ease of the games. I just need to be more careful with the bets. Not every game is the same minimum bet. However, it's still a great place to visit, and don't forget to join the players club! I love the promotions they have going on. Bingo is upstiars. The friendliness of the game was so refreshing. Plenty of time to dab your cards, and they have electronic bingo! Will be trying that out next time. If you get hungry, the cafe has a great burger! The Mint Cheeseburger and the Mushroom Swiss burger are super good and decently prices. I haven't gone to the Iron Steakhouse as that is way above my budget. However, i hear good things.

Worst dining experience ever! If the steak house closes at 9pm offer quick options. Waiting in line for 40 minutes. Every table was dirty & had dishes on it. Waited for food for over an hour… when on floor impossible to find a waitress to take drink order. Don’t waste your time go toOak Grove excellent cafe & selfServe soft drinks, coffee @ water!

To be honest I want to give it one star because I never ever win here but I'm not really that petty LOL. The reason I gave it four stars though is because I'm a semi truck driver and there's no parking for us at all so you have to walk about a mile from the truck stop to get to it. Just a warning it is a smoking casino for all you non-smokers there is a non-smoking area but but it still travels. Whenever I visit there under construction so it looked like half their parking lot was under construction too so not a whole lot of parking but they're still a good amount the casino was clean itself and it looked like they were walking around sterilizing machines so it seems safe enough.

Great place to go when you are ready to lose money. Disclaimer, casinos aren't in the business to lose money. If you are feeling lucky, the place is filled with a great amount of slot machines that have different ranges for betting. This place allows smoking inside and high limit area. There is a full bar inside as well a great food dinning area. The players club staff was friendly and helpful. The cashier's also was very polite. Highly recommend going all positive experiences that is not based on wins or loses.

The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, KY is a great experience and a lot of fun. The staff are wonderful and the place is very clean. They aren't just a place to just play slots, they also celebrate people's birthdays, they do giveaways like every hour, and they send offers and free play to you in the mail as an incentive to keep coming back and to let you know they appreciate the people that come out and play. So in reality even if you don't win while you're there playing slots, you're still a winner by everything they just give you for being a free club member. Came here to see what a $20 bill turned into. Lost my bill. The place smelled like a mixture of bleach and cigarette smoke. Beer was nice and cold. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Looks like a new restaurant was recently added. We didn’t have time to eat there but I had to at least take a peek. The menu looks originally and includes food you won’t find anywhere else in this area. Check it out!

We have been going to this casino every week for the last year and a half and found it absolutely a lot of fun. It's always clean and everyone is so nice. However, in the last month they've changed the machines and now it seems that they are not paying like they used to. That's a little disheartening though we're not going to give up but we talked about giving it another month to see if it's any better. Coming up here was really a fun part of our lives. We didn't win all the time. We didn't lose either but it was the challenge of each time we wentNow. Not so much. The new machines seem to take the fun away.

My first time at the THE MINT WAS NICE. It's located between Nashville. TN and Bowling Green Ky. I stopped by there on Superbowl Sunday and made it in time for the OT. It was Awesome. TVs were all the way around the bar. I noticed other rooms but really didn't have time. I was able to play some slot machines that are push buttons nowadays. I'm used to going to Derby City Gaming and Hotel in Louisville Kentucky. Not far from the airport.But I did enjoy the The Mint. Worth checking out if you're in the area. They (The MINT) close early.

Great place to go and unwind from the everyday grind. Only problem is they NEVER have enough drink servers on the floor. And if you're lucky enough to get one it takes sometimes up to an hour to get your drink. But the ones that they do have are always very friendly and courteous. They also have some great new games.

It's a nice looking place. However it may have the absolute most tight machines I ve ever experienced, also the selection of said machines is slim picking. Same machines over and over. Been there 3 different times same results. Stay away unless you like giving money away..

Pulling in the parking lot we had no idea what to expect. After entering the gift shop to buy spots on the tour, we found a wonderful place for souvenirs.The staff was super friendly and gave us all the information we needed to start our adventure.Walking down to the cave is a beautiful Scenic route. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶Once we reach the end of the path and saw the cave, we were pleasantly surprised at its splendor. 🤩Our guide was full of energy and made us laugh many times during the boat ride.I recommend you don’t forget to fit this itinerary on your next vacation. 😁

A very short experience in the cave itself. The surrounding area is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of parking and staff to assist. The gift shop is on the pricey side but has all kinds of options for everyone.

If you love being surrounded by the wonders of God's creation then I highly recommend the nature trail here. With beautiful scenery and interesting facts about the Lost River along the way it is sure to please any nature lover. I have yet to take the underground boat tour but I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I finally do. The gift shop has unique and beautiful items for sale and the employees are very friendly. My grandchildren enjoyed the rock mining and the Lost River spring more than anything. I could go here every day and discover something new.

What a neat experience! It was quite unique.We had an entertaining tour guide who shared a lot of stories about the cave and area.The actual time on the boat in the cave was shorter than I was hoping, and you don’t travel very far. Other than that it was fun. I wouldn’t go a second time but I’m glad I did it once.

We had so much fun on our visit to Lost River Cave. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Nashville. This was our sons favorite part of vacation. It is just a short 45 minute drive from Nashville and well worth it. I purchased our tickets online and there are a few benefits of that. I was able to get a discount on the kids mining buckets which they loved! And you also receive a coupon for the gift shop. The tour guides do an amazing job and know a lot of history about the cave and area which I enjoyed. Really all the staff from the gift shop to the guides are super friendly and helpful. If you are visiting when it is cooler be sure to bring a jacket you do have to walk outside some and will want a jacket.Just a note our kids are 9 and 2.5 and it was perfect for them. I was unsure if our daughter would enjoy it or be entertained long enough to sit still for the tour but she did fine. I highly recommend the mining bags or buckets kiddos get to pan for treasure (gemstones shark teeth and geodes) outside of the gift shop and ours loved that experienced.

This cave was beautiful! I enjoyed learning facts about the place from our tour guide. You can also rent the area for a wedding! It was really pretty and very neat to ride the boat through the cave, my son loved it. Also I think its less than a 20 minute walk to the cave or for the start of the cave tour. They are kid/baby friendly as we took a 9 year old and a 9 month old on the tour. The gift shop had lots of cute knickknacks too! We didnt have a wait to buy the tickets but we had about a 20 minute wait from time we purchased tickets until our tour actually began, which was totally fine with us as there was plenty to see to occupy our time.

This tour was good, not great, but a nice stop if you have extra time near Mammoth Cave.This was the only truly wet cave we ventured to. It was a nice albeit short boat ride through the cave. Our tour guide Emma-Claire was so passionate and informative. You could tell she was interested in what she was talking about, and did a great job of inserting humor in with the history.The cave is very pretty and the gift shop has a good selection of trinkets and handmade goods from local artisans.This wouldn’t be a tour I would repeat, and think the price doesn’t necessarily match the length and overall experience, but still glad we experienced it.

Just got done with the boat tour and loved it. What a unique experience! Our group had a toddler and it was great—they had kid-sized life vests (required for those under 13). This seems pretty doable for different activity levels, with these two things in mind: 1) there is a bit of a walk to get to the start, so give yourself extra time, 2) at one point on the boat you have to duck pretty far down so as not to hit your head. Staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. Nice visitor center and bathrooms. Other activities available and spaces for picnics—could spend several hours here. This is run by a nonprofit. Would totally recommend to others and go again!

Such a cool experience! The short walk back up the hill is worth it! Our guide was so knowledgeable and had great dad jokes! The cave is beautiful. Was hoping it was bigger but hey its a cave! Was so interesting learning all the history and with that was put into this. Definitely worth the stop! Oh and the gift shop has so many good tourist stuff!

We took the boat tour very informative guide great visuals and very educational. Also in the park is a it's a 2 mile walking trail that could that currently has many scarecrows for the Halloween season a lot of fun for the kids and adults as well. The cave entrance can be rented out for events the day we were there it was set up for a wedding with crystal chandelier

Tour guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about the cave and knows how to deliver information to audiences with different ages. It was fun listening to all the information he gave to the tour group.Lots of interaction between the tourist and the guide, pointing out formations of the rock, and ducking our heads down to squeeze in through the cave made up the entire experienceThe whole tour was very exciting, and memorable experience. I did not know that Kentucky was full of cave until I got here and learned about it.Highly recommend to come check this place out! Family-friendly!I don’t know how often the tickets sell out, but you can book it online or in person!

Absolutely loved it! We had Becky as our tour guide and she did a great job with commentary and history. It’s not a super long tour so you can talk smaller children on it (there are life vests and the water is only around 4 feet deep). Would definitely recommend.

This place is really relaxing and calming. I love coming here when I am in Kentucky. They have a great gift shop and very friendly staff. The grounds are beautiful, there is hiking trails and a butterfly garden that is fun to see. It is a good place to get out in nature. I love seeing the creeks and hearing the water.The tour is short but I enjoyed the boat ride. You don't go that deep into the cavern but I would definitely recommend coming here. It is beautiful.

Definitely book this tour! We were searching for a cave tour that is easily accessible as we had two with us that had small mobility issues that could not do much of the hiking which would be involved with the other cave tours around. They both made it up and down to the entrance with ease. Our tour guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and made the adventure enjoyable! The boat tour itself is gorgeous.

Lost River Cave is phenomenal! I had my wedding here over the weekend and I got so many compliments! The staff were so helpful and professional. Their get ready building was so helpful! I got to hang out with my girls and hook my phone up for music! I strongly recommend this venue for weddings! 10/10!We also did the tour and that was so much fun! We encouraged everyone from our guests list to go before the wedding as well!

Great tour to check out the caves. We purchased tickets ahead of time, and the tour was right on schedule. The time in the boat on the water was only prob about 10 min, but it was cool to be down there. If you're in the area, I would recommend adding it to your list of things to do.

We came for spring break, and the boat ride through a cave is one of the things our kids were the most excited about. It was their favorite cave tour. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience here. The hiking trails were perfect for our youngest child’s little legs, and well maintained. The boat tour was a lot of fun, and a different experience than the other caves we toured. Something I saw earlier in the week at their gift shop was gone, and they were able to go into their storage area and get exactly what I wanted. It made my day because I came back to the gift shop a few days later specifically hoping that item was still there. Would recommend to anyone!

This was a different cave experience than what we are used to since this one is in a boat. It isn't a long boat tour but it is interesting. The grounds are very nice and the staff is nice and friendly. Our tour guide was fun. They also have ziplines, a butterfly sanctuary, and nature trails. There is also a very nice gift shop. This is one tour that you probably wouldn't repeat, but it is definitely worth visiting.

This place is beautiful. We didn't get to see the private collection, and I wish they had some sign at the check-in desk that have the hours of when they are open. Also the cafe was closed (closes at 3p) when we went and I was looking forward to doing that too but they weren't open.The Museum has a wonderful collection of corvettes over the years. They deliver their timeline beautifully. TCM also shows their entire sinkhole collection and history of everything. They have a special room. It's magnificent to see. You really feel the energy from that day in there. It's displeasing to say the least. But, wonderfully put together.There are lots of photos of the different era cars on the Google page, however, I clicked the snap button on my favorites.I did check out the brick engraving and that's $125 to do that, but gets shared after a while due to weather. However, they do have nice octagon shaped bricks inside and those are $250 for non members and $200 for members. This would make for a better option if you would like your legacy to live on for years to come.

The experience was a great learning experience for the history of the corvette. Well worth the stop for car enthusiasts. My kids enjoyed some of the interactive exhibits. The corvette collection is fantastic. So many I would love to own. Also the sink hole exhibit was interesting and educational. The children did the simulator and both were frustrated with the steering of it but both were glad they had done it. Probably just a one time event for me..

You don't have to be a Corvette nut to absolutely love this place, but it helps to love cars!! A superb museum with everything you need to see and know about Corvettes. The main lobby is also the delivery area for people to collect their new cars, so you get to see the absolute latest cars too. There's also a great exhibit about a sink hole that swallowed a load of cars from their collection... very interesting.

I grew up in a Corvette family, so this was a must to stop and see. It just happened to be on our way home from vacation. We added a night in Bowling Green to be able to see this and Mammoth Cave. The history is fantastic and the cars are oh my!! Both new and old, fantastic! If you love cars or Corvettes, then you need to stop here! I did purchase my tickets online ahead of time. They do say they are food for 1 year from the purchase date as long as it is not a combo ticket. We went on a Monday morning and it wasn't super busy yet.

This place is awesome. What a treat to visit this museum. They have a lot to offer. A lot of beautiful,rare cars are on display for your viewing pleasure.The sinkhole was an incredible event that took place here a few years ago. It's all fixed now and you can visit worry free.

This place has a little something for everyone to enjoy! My husband and teenage son loved the cars from top to bottom and from the inside out! The younger kids loved designing their own car and seeing it displayed on the big screen! The girls particularly liked the different scenes of cars displayed during their various eras. The sink hole has its own special displays, which was fascinating for everyone! We were tight on time, but we’ll be back!

Wow!!! This place is amazing! What a great job of preserving and presenting the history of the Corvette. The displays are immaculate. The entire museum is very well lit and all the signage is easy to read. I did not know that they had a cave collapse that wrecked eight cars. I couldn't stay as long as I wanted, but I'll be back SOON!!

Really enjoyed our visit. We also did the plant tour, which made the trip more than worth it. The museum was very cool with lots of unique Corvettes to see. It doesn't take too long to see everything, though. The restaurant was also quite nice.

Definitely one to mark off the bucket list for people who love to travel and learn. They have made several updates since the last time I came. I loved that they added stuff for the younger kids. Definitely will be back!

You need to go visit this place if you like cars.We decided to add the guided tour to our ticket. We thought it would add more to the experience. Wow, were we correct. Our tour guide, Jackson, was amazing. Although he was young (19 to 21, we guessed), he knew so much about the history and construction of the Corvette. Jackson worked on the assembly line, as did his father and grandfather. You could tell his love of the Corvette. With 3 generations of knowledge, Jackson was able to bring in personal stories to the tour, not just dry facts. We loved every minute of our tour.The museum is extremely interesting. They have Corvettes from 1953 to today. The displays are well thought out and the descriptions well written. It isn't just a bunch of cars lined up like a car show.

3.9.24Our final stop before heading back to Michigan! Guess you could say we saved the best for last. The museum was super cool and has so much to see. There’s also go karting available at the tracks, but we didn’t do it since it was cold and rainy. Definitely do if you get the chance though! And the little restaurant inside is AMAZING.

Had a great visit to the Museum. Glad to see that they were open on Sunday and went with my 2 sons. The place is very well kept and modern. They had a restaurant, library and archive (not open), gift store, stimulator and of course the main museum. We loved the Education center and all the interactive activities within. It kept my 8 and 4 year old entertained and excited. The 'shrine' to the cave-in was awesome and informative. I do wish they left a bit more of the cave-in exposed but probably couldn't for safety reasons. All this along with the awesome, historic Corvettes made it a trip to remember. We plan on returning.

Great place to visit for car lovers and just a hour north of Nashville. Interesting collection and history, plus a look down at the sink hole that swallowed millions of $ in vehicles a few years ago. Even got to see some buyers take delivery of their new cars. Affordable

My boyfriend and I went to visit for the first time on his birthday weekend. We had a really great time. We loved the seeing the authenticity and beauty in the cars and learning about them and the people that made them. We were a little disappointed that when we went some of it was closed off because of renovations. But we still had an awesome experience and cannot wait to bring our kids!

I like this place but I honestly expected more from it. They have a small pool and splash park area for babies and toddlers which is really fun. Their wave pool, lazy River, and splash park for bigger kids is always a good time and keeps everyone cool and happy. Food is decent but the lines can get ridiculously long. There aren’t enough rides for small children but it is a good time if you have older kids. The workers there for the most part though are awful. Terrible attitudes, obviously don’t want to do their jobs, and some of the ride operators seem really young to be doing their job or seem like it isn’t a priority. It’s also very expensive so just be prepared.

Great family fun day! Plenty to do for all ages. Great restroom access, free sunscreen, parking and tubes. Souvenir cups only have $1 refills and can be used the entire season not just the day.

Took my girls for a small getaway. We had a blast! The kids loved everything! We were a little short for one or two rides. But that just makes us want to go back next year. The magic show was great. My little one got to go on stage. She loved it! Rides are great! The haunted house ride to us is our favorite. 10 plus times of riding it. It had been years since I had been. Loved everything about it!

Beech Bend isn't a bad park, but it's definitely fallen off from when I considered it a five-star local park.Let's start with the rides. Beech Bend is mostly populated by a large variety of carnival style flat rides, ranging from a swinging ship, to a classic tilt o whirl, to the newer Vortex and drop tower rides. There are three notable coasters - a very rough wood coaster, the Kentucky Rumbler, which has gotten considerably more rough in the last few years despite an excellent layout, a steel spinning wild mouse coaster, and a spinning kiddie coaster. Not bad, not great. Given some maintenance and retooling, the Rumbler might become a great coaster again. There are a great selection of water slides if that's your thing.Now for amenities. Parking is free. Drinks were free in years past, but are now $3.50 for a 20 ounce drink (very disappointing). A burger runs 6.50, chicken strips and fries 10. Beech Bend Hall, which was previously a decently well supplied arcade, is now empty but for five claw machines and three carnival games. Ironic given that the walls still have skee-ball and arcade signs.There are few places to cool down besides the water park, and little shade. I cannot recommend Beech Bend during the heat of the summer for those reasons. If unlimited free sodas return, then we'll talk.

We won tickets and got to experience this fun little place. It's like a carnival and a few big water slides. We went during the week... so not many people, that was nice!

Went a while back (prior to COVID-19) and loved it. It’s a nice place. Rides didn’t have long wait times. It was very clean. Not too crowded. This park deserves more love and I plan on returning this summer. Such an under rated and under appreciated little amusem*nt park. Would totally recommend.

The park is clean and a great size. Big enough for the entire family to enjoy but not *too* big to where you have to worry much about your kid getting lost. Nice size lazy river that connects to the wave pool and adult beverages are available, which is sometimes nice. Good variety of water slides and amusem*nt park rides!

This is like a big county fair meets a community splash/water park. They have a drag strip and camping too but we came for the park for our 3.5 year old. He loved it. The go karts werent running when we were there and the haunted house is probably PG17 at best. I went in it alone to scope it out. I wouldnt recommend it to young kids or those afraid of surprise shots. Regular tickets are $49.95 but we got discount from our local radio station.

Been to quite a few drag strip in the NE and this one (albeit more "central") is by far the best. Washroom situation (from last year) is solved, clean up is quick & efficient. Staff are courteous and conditions are great.

Street Outlaws NPK 2023 was awesome. Parking for the VIP ticket holders was less than acceptable. The access to the pits and starting line was a great experience, but seating was a nightmare. All in all.....we had a good time and will be back in the future.

We loved visiting here and was very impressed on how clean and kept up!! Kids loved the water park lots to do and it’s great for smaller kids.

This is the perfect place to bring teens that just want to hang out together and ride some rides and eat some junk food. It's also great for families with young children as nothing is very spaced out. It is a smaller amusem*nt park, but don't let that be a deterrent. My son and his friend had an absolute blast here.

We look forward to the GS Nationals every year. This is the family you weren't born into. But I absolutely love the Heck out of them all.

The owners here are the best! My husband and I stopped to look at the car collection, and we were not disappointed! The cars are pristine and such beauties each with their own personality. I highly recommend stopping. You'll be glad you did.

Beyond beautiful collection of cars. Being from Detroit and seeing all the packards makes me wish I was alive back in the days to see the city in it's prime. So many all original cars in this collection. If you're looking for beefed up muscle cars he has a few but if you're looking for some classic cars that are beyond beautiful this is the place. And it's free too. Highly recommend stepping back in time and take the time to see how far cars have come. Unreal !!!

We were unsure whether we had time to stop during our road trip. The free admission actually had us worried the 25 minute detour was not going to be warranted. However... this place was amazing. There are a lot more vehicles than expected and all are beautifully kept. The folks working the museum shared personal stories about each car, answered questions and even opened up the cars to show us more features. This stop is well worth it! They even have restrooms available. We spent just over an hour there before returning to our road trip.Bravo to these fine folks for sharing this collection with the community.

This was a collection of all kinds of different makes and models from the owners personal collection, some were on loan! High quality and done we haven't seen before!

Beautiful! If you have time to stop, we highly recommend looking. You could pop in for a few minutes or spend an hour reading all the information related to each car.

Quick and easy stop in Elizabethtown if you want to explore some historic automobiles from 1910 to the late 60’s and beyond. Quite the collection, free of charge, make sure you sign the guest book when you visit. I was ordered by my cousin to give this review 4.8 stars, because he saw no Lincolns, all joking aside, great collection with some awesome history.

Lots of beautiful cars and it's free! The woman there knew everything about each car. Very knowledgeable, and offered to give us a guided tour but we turned her down because she had just started her lunch. After she finished she gave us all her attention. Could have spent a lot longer there, but had other plans. We will stop back.

Randomly stopped into this car museum (Free!) on a road trip with my tween boys and they loved it! The woman there was as so friendly and knowledgeable, and she asked the boys if they wanted any of the hoods opened to see the engines. What a special hidden gem!

On a family road trip and we stopped by. It was great! You have cars from the early 1900's through the 60s. There's a lot of information on each of the cars and you can even request a tour. My 11 & 6 year olds really enjoyed it, and it's free. Doesn't get any better than that. Definitely recommend stopping by.

An amazing collection of cars. A wonderful staff and the owners were there, you couldn't ask for nicer people. They were absolutely great. Our visit here really made my day. I recommend it highly!

Absolutely AMAZING… there is history you will not find anywhere else! If you are into cars and want to learn how and why we have abs enjoy some of the things we do now… you’ll definitely put this Museum on your to do list! Our tour guide was chalked full of information, Willy sends very pleasant! What an afternoon!

SO GOOD! This is a definite must see even if you're not a car person it's free so why not stop in you will not be disappointed and afterwards you may be a car person. I don't consider myself a car person but I have an appreciation for nostalgic things and this car collection is amazing. It has some things in there that you don't typically see. I really appreciate the family keeping this going since Bill has passed away.

We made the two hour drive out here, because we heard it was a great tour. It was! It was totally worth it!! We were a little nervous, as the three of us were teamed up with a party bus group of guys - but they wound up being awesome, too. Our guide was wonderful; she was very knowledgeable, fun, professional, and personable. Whisky kitty was a bonus. At the end, we got to dip our own bottles. The selection available was really nice, as was the staff. Thank you for such a great tour!

Chet was a fantastic tour guide! I really enjoyed The Remarkable Experience, which is definitely worth the money, having a small group and exploring parts of the distillery campus not everyone gets to see. The stained glass and art around campus were beautiful, and so were the lake and private tasting rooms. Chet answered all our questions, and we looked up a few he didn't know off hand. Stopping at the gift shop mid tour was fun, and we were all able to dip bottles before continuing (the gift shop would have been closed since our tour was the last one and 2.5 hours) Ethan joined us for the last part of the tour going around the see the animals and lake. His insight as the resident grounds/animal caretaker was fantastic.This trip to Makers prompted us to take advantage of the ambassador program, I'm excited to come back in the near and far future.We were sad the restaurant was closed, but i hope to enjoy some food next time we visit. Everyone said it's an amazing and rotating menu/always changing.Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend it! Next time, we will look into the Oak Experience or Wax/Honey one with Ethan!

We had a great time touring the distillery. Beautiful location, great tour guide (Bree-sp??) and delicious bourbon. The tasting was so good! Hand-dipping our own bottles was an experience. Very interesting history there.

This is simply a MUST VISIT on the bourbon trail. Our tour guide was incredible. He was funny but also went very in depth with his explanation of the facilities, the grounds, and the general history of Maker's Mark. I learned so much about Maker's Mark during my tour. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the tasting at the end of the tour was great as well. Then we got to dip our own bottles in the gift shop which was awesome! They also have some exclusive flavors only offered at the gift shop. Overall experience was a 5/5 and I would return just for the offerings at the gift shop and to dip another bottle!

In one word, beautiful.But this a review and more words are required.The standard tour was thorough and had a great tasting at the end.Great drinks at the bar and you can take one on the tour with you, until you enter the distillery proper.Words can’t capture the quality of landscaping and attention to artistic detail on this property. A true visitor experience.

The grounds are truly beautiful. Whether you cleft a formal tour and see the production, bottling and stamping facilities, or you grab a co*cktail and walk the beautiful 100+ acres that they own, it’s a fantastic time. And to answer the question everybody has, yes, you can still dip your own bottle without going on a tour. They have a selection of bottles to choose from and purchase to then dip in the iconic red wax in their gift store. Absolutely recommend, but be careful if you use Google Maps, it will take you down the skinny backroads and can be a bit sketchy to get there. 10/10, would recommend.

What an incredible, unique experience we had at Maker's Mark Distillery. The grounds are exceptional, the tour is fantastic, and the tasting is second to none. I had my doubts going into this, and coming out I was a believer. The bar experience just before going on the tour was fantastic and the tour itself was an eye opener. Everyone should experience this the smells and the sounds and the sights are worth every cent you pay.

The grounds of Makers Mark are beautiful and the company is focused on sustainability and using as much as they can from their land in their food and co*cktails. Our guide Lexi did a fantastic job. She’s very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question that our group asked. There is a restaurant on site open for lunch.My husband and I chose the Remarkable Experience tour. At the time of our visit, it was $100 per person. The tour was 2.5 hours and we saw the distilling process, bottling, the gardens, a rickhouse, an aging area with a limestone wall, and we finished at the lake with a pour on the side of the water. Most of the tour is walking, but guests ride in a vehicle to the farm/lake area. We appreciated the extent of the tour but felt the price is too high. We didn’t get to sample a rare product or keep the glass. For us, the best part of the tour was getting to sample a pour straight from a barrel.

Such a great experience on the tour. Our tour was fun and very informational. The campus was beautiful and we got a great look at how they make their bourbon. I especially liked the look at the cellar which makes MM46 and the distillers select. This is definitely one of the must see distillery’s on the bourbon trail.

We did six or seven tours / tastings while we were here this week and this one was both the one I was looking most forward to, and the one that was overall probably by favorite. The property alone was absolutely incredible. The tour, given to my group by I believe Andrew, was fantastic. He really shows how passionate and knowledgeable about bourbon and everything Makers Mark... From the history to the processes involved in all phases of making their products to the tasting. Such a cool place and I was not disappointed in my expectations. Probably even exceeded. I would totally do this tour again if I'm ever back on the trail!

Had a fantastic time at Maker’s doing the tour. Our guide was Tim, and he was excellent - super informative, funny but casual and his passion for bourbon and the brand was obvious. The tour is brilliant, you really feel that you’re going behind the scenes and they don’t hide anything, showing you everything from the mash tubs, the labelling, storage and even the bottling. Recommend buying and dipping a bottle at the end, a great gift. Would love to go back!

The grounds and tour are amazing. The stained and blown glass are worth every step to see as well as the garden. The only “warning” is that they do not accept cash and the “tips” are included as a service charge. 40$ for two co*cktails and not the usual friendliness from the bar tender.

Chet was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Golden Ticket Ambassador tour was very fun and informative. It was intimate and we got special insights into areas that the general tour doesn't cover. Maker's Mark is a beautifully crafted Bourbon, paving the way in sustainability. The Ambassador program is great and I encourage you to join! Plus, it is hands down the best Bourbon Whiskey on the planet!!

Easily one of the best Distillery tours we've had. The guide was very polite and knowledgeable. I got to see a slam dunk on the line after I tried to encourage the lady's to do one and it made my whole experience so great. Highly recommend this Distillery and the tour/tasting

If you are planning on doing a distillery tour in the area I highly recommend this one. It is different from others in so many good ways. The grounds are beautiful and almost like they were made for the touring experience. If you are lucky you’ll get Michelle as your tour guide! She has only been a guide at makers mark since the summer but she knows her stuff! She also makes the tour a funny and lighthearted experience. This is a tour you don’t want to pass up.

We went on a Beyond the Bourbon tour today with our host Jim. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We showed up exactly on time and had to run in to make sure we were a part of the group. We honestly thought we were in the wrong area, thankfully we were not. The tour was very in-depth and Jim was full of so much knowledge about the process, the history and did a great job making sure we saw all areas of the grounds. Their grounds are top notch! We enjoyed 4-5 samples along the tour. We did pay to dunk a bottle after the tour, we tried to get a slam dunk, but the vat wasn’t very deep 🤣. After we walked around some more we had a few co*cktails at the bar. The Apple butter Old Fashioned was phenomenal. Our bartender was very friendly and made is feel right at home. I highly recommend adding this to your trip!

Excellent experience. The guide was knowledgeable the distillery has plenty of history and art. You get a tasting, and the location has plenty of distillery-specific bottles and some limited bottles to buy and dip in wax yourself. If you are Active Military, the tour is at no cost.

Visited another first rate distillery today! Wonderful staff, amazing grounds, and what a nice setting this place is located in. Our tour guide Tim was informative and entertaining and made this a great experience. And remember if your GPS takes you on Makers Mark Rd to the distillery, be prepared to drive on a narrow road that you'll need to take turns with oncoming traffic.

We went on a great tour yesterday. There were only eight of us on the tour. We all had a fantastic time with Andrew he went above and beyond. I showed him a picture of my dead husband and I said I wanted to recreate it he said the bench was no longer there but he did help us find a new place and took the pictures. We had a wonderful time on tour at Maker’s! Josey was a personable tour guide that made it such a fun experience. The tour is unique from others where you get to see the printing room, hand dipping line, and the private cellar. The on site sandwich place was way too pricey for lunch but good food and decent service. If you’re trying to grab lunch before a tour give yourself at LEAST an hour or get takeout sandwiches. We like the vibe of the facility and loved the art museum in the visitor center! Only wish they had more EV chargers.

It’s our second time visiting Willett, and we enjoyed both visits. Last time was during Covid, and The Bar was not open. This time we had lunch at The Bar, and it was a nice experience. Remember to make reservations in advance, or you probably won’t get seated since it very busy, a popular place. Both the food and co*cktails were delicious. We did the whiskey tasting last time, and it was great, and that’s how we discovered Johnny Drum, a great choice for making Old Fashioned. Don’t miss the souvenir store. By the way, there is an adorable cat on the property. We saw it each time we visited.

What a beautiful distillery! Steeped in southern heritage and charm, the ambiance is relaxing, warm and welcoming. The staff were all so kind and helpful! Our tour guide, Ila, was knowledgeable and funny. She really seems to enjoy sharing her knowledge of Willett and the family history behind the bourbon. The tastings along the tour were wonderful! This was mine and my husband’s first distillery tour for our wedding anniversary and Willett definitely set the bar high for us. We will be back to visit again!

Go, simply go. It's the best distillery tour and tasting I've been to. The tour is informative and it has bourbon throughout. The bar has great food as well, it's appetizer style, but delicious. Last and most importantly, the single barrel "Purple top" bourbons in the bar. They are unlike anything I tasted in the rest of distilleries They are expensive, but it's the quality and flavor that the entire rest of the industry should be pouring on their tours. It's not even close, Willet wins by a mile.

The staff was amazingly kind and friendly. They took time to talk about the distillery, the bourbon, and even their own experiences. The grounds are beautiful. And I can imagine a better day to enjoy it. What was going to be a quick stop, lasted for a couple hours as we took it all in.

One of our stops along the bourbon trail. We didn’t do a tour but stopped for a flight. The grounds are beautiful, and welcoming and the people are friendly. While many of their offerings aren’t favorites of mine many seem to really enjoy them, just a different palette than mine. Absolutely worth the stop for a pour.

Great tour! The tastings are spread throughout the tour rather than being stacked together at the end. Mason, our guide, was knowledgable, bright and cheerful. Even after the tour he visited individually with his members as they browsed the gift shop.Knowledgeable host, beautiful distillery, excellent bourbons and now I know why!

The Willette tour is among the best ever by today's standards (very much like the old days at Wild Turkey, Barton 1792, etc where you really toured the place!) and our guide, Bianca, was outstanding. They started the tour with a tasting and had several more along the way with two different offerings at each place, and again at the end.Cheers!

Beautiful distillery. Our tour guide Shannon, was outstanding. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food in the restaurant was excellent albeit slightly overpriced for the portions.Now for the bad. I really wanted to love this distillery. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined at the outset by an extremely rude and unprofessional front desk worker that actually told me the person she was speaking to on the phone was “more important” than me after I waited patiently for her to get off the phone and check me in for the tour.The whiskey is way overpriced and average at best. Charging upwards of $90 per oz at the distillery to taste their special releases is ridiculous. I felt like I was at a bar on whiskey row rather than a famed distillery. Best word to describe the vibe here is pretentious.For a place to call itself a “Family” Estate, it is lacking the hospitality and friendliness of such an establishment. Really disappointed by this experience.

We highly recommend Willett as a tour destination. You can sample products at several stops during the tour. My wife and I were able to sample more different products than any other tour that we have taken. The grounds are beautiful and you can feel the passion that the staff has for their Bourbons, and Whiskeys.

Absolutely Beautiful campus, especially during our fall visit. Love the history, enjoy the product, friendly and knowledgeable staff and guide, love being able to get up close to the workings of the distillery and seeing workers actually present and working, and having our picture made with the working Pot Still.The cats are a treat as.well. Loved how they knew the routines and basically made themselves at home throughout the whole tour. Will definitely recommend Willet Distillery for anyone planning a Bourbon Trail experience.

What an experience!! You actually have tastings included in the tour as you experience the different facilities. Nick our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided the best experience in Bardstown. Highly recommended to be on your Distillery visit in KY.

Of all the distilleries we did, this was our favorite. The grounds are gorgeous, their story fantastic, and the drinks great. We LOVED that the tasting was spread out at various locations on the tour. You get to see it ALL and the value is outstanding. We will come back and tour this again for sure. This is 100% worth your time.

Our tour guide Bianca was amazing! She was very informative, gave great history about the family and how Willet was started and how it still operates. She was friendly and loved her sense of humor. Tastings along the way were a hit with us, that is so different from the other tours we did. At the end Bianca asked if there was an anniversary which was ours and showed us lots of love and everyone got to try a high end purple top which was the absolute best! Later we had drinks and food upstairs which was by far the best we had anywhere! I would highly recommend the Willet tour!

We toured 5 distilleries — this was my favorite. Tastings spread out throughout the tour instead of all at once, smaller distillery with a commitment to quality and a family feel, a great bar, and great bourbon. Everyone is super friendly. Also, distillery cats are a plus!

We had SO much fun at this tour! We have visited a few places along the bourbon trail and this was by far our favorite. For the basic tour, we still got to try countless bourbons that this distillery makes, and were sent home with a nice glass from our tasting. Mason, our tour guide, was absolutely phenomenal. I will be bringing other family members back with me soon. PS: the "nope" signs are legendary, and also extremely helpful.

Small group, so we were able to spend a little more time and ask some more questions and get a little more info. It was cold the day of our tour so dress warm it was alot in n out and outside. The bourbon was delicious, the chocolate and bourbon cream were smooth. Worth your time.

Such a beautiful place to visit. And the staff was so friendly. We would visit again but tours will be stopping after June. :(

This is where it goes down. The place to be. It’s remarkable how beautiful this place is. We took a short shelf guided tour. It was a lot of information. I believe the longer tour would offer behind the scene type thing. Nevertheless we enjoyed the history of the iconic place. The gift shop is nice. Parking is plentiful and the staff is friendly and energetic.

This where all the action happens for The Kentucky Derby. Lots of interesting historical trivia about the horses that ran in past races. Beautifully kept grounds and stalls..a great tour and we stopped for a Mint Julep at the end our tour (this was on our own). Off Season they are reasonably priced at their bar/cafe. It was a very tasty co*cktail. They have a gift shop on site next to the cafe with all types of Churchill Downs Memorabilia.

One of the coolest things I've ever done! If you have the chance, visit Churchill Downs. It's an experience you'll never forget! When we visited, they had a bunch of food trucks in the vicinity. It was neat because you could walk around to a couple of food trucks, purchase some drinks, dance to the live music, and then go watch the horse races. We just sat in a general admission area which worked out perfect because we were there during the week when it wasn't crazy busy. Overall, we had an absolute blast!

This place was so Beautiful!Just traveling thur, knee problem. Enjoyed taking pics of statue of Secretaries!I seen the movie a long time ago. The place was so awesome to see! I know the museum was open.But I remember hearing on news horses were moved because a horse died. It was under evistgation.What I seen was still a very beautiful place! Enjoy it!

First time visitor. Took the DOWNS/HERMITAGE FARMS tour which is a full day tour. Highly recommend! At Hermitage Farms our guide was a very knowledgeable young man Jacob who was filled with all the details of the operations of the Farm, including the horse stables, barn turned kitchen and event venue and the different gardens of mostly edibles that sustain their kitchen and uoscale restaurant on site.

Great way to spend the afternoon while in Louisville. Bring cash to bet . The food is just okay. Eat elsewhere if possible before or after. The drinks are actually pretty good. They make a pretty decent old-fashioned.

Never been to a race before, was a great thrill. Everyone had. Fun watching and cheering for the Horses. Love the history and the stadium food. Good day with friends, will definitely do this again.

Very interesting museum visit and short tour. The entry fee includes an immersive 18-minute video on a 360-degree screen with surround sound, all museum exhibits, and a 30-minute tour. There are rotating stools for viewing the video so you can easily spin and see everything. Our tour guide, Steve, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Videos are shown at ten minutes past every hour with a ten minute intro on the hour. Tours begin on the half hour, and the guide picks you up in the theater, which is called The Great Hall. There is a nice gift shop with loads of merchandise and a cafe that can both be visited for free. The only issue we observed is that the parking lot is quite small, so leave extra time for arrival, as your reserved video and tour times are set.

Went to see horse races. Was a phenomenal experience. We got our tickets when we arrived which ended up costing us a third of the price. Has a parking lot concession stand for food drinks and a gift shop. You can smoke inside while watching the horse races. Once you enter you can't return. Races take place all day. Minimum bet for a horse race when we went was $50.

Great experience! This was my first visit. We took a tour of the city and this was one of our stops. Enjoyed seeing the horses race and exploring the grounds, which are very beautiful. The gift shop has a good variety of items, such as derby hats, shirts, magnets, and derby collector items.

If you get the chance take the Superstars and Spires tour. At ninety minutes it covers a lot. Our guide, Bob, was really good about sharing stories and historical insights about this great track. The tour takes you through all the grandstands and high end seating where the stars and celebrities enjoy the Derby. There is a museum to visit as well as a theatre to watch a movie about The Race, which is a must see. Visit the store for some swag and the cafe for a mint julip.

We went to the November live races and I would rate that a 5. We bought tickets to the millionaire’s row section which was great and included a buffet and all you can drink soda. The buffet was very disappointing. It went from 1 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. We got our food at 1:15 P.M. after the first race was done. The pasta was warm to cool in temperature, the chicken was dry. The dessert selection was very messy in presentation. That lowered our rating. Is that really how it is for the Kentucky Derby when people are paying $10,000 or more for tickets? Thank goodness ours were $61 each (includes entry to Churchill Downs).

I had such a wonderful, enjoyable day/experience here yesterday(Sunday, November 5th, 2023).I came with dear friends who are parents of a deceased army son.We attended the Military remembrance day for surviving families.11 stares were represented.Such good food, a band, face painting, activities fir the children and so much more was provided at No cost to the families and their guests.The staff I talked to and got to know we're absolutely so friendly, caring and a joy to meetWe had such a wonderful time.Thank you to your staff throughout the building and grounds.I will definitely come back!

Definitely recommend purchasing tickets for tour ahead of time and including the video and track tour. We had our tour at the end of the day so we didn’t get to enjoy the museum before the tour. Plan for more time on the front or backend to be able to wander through the museum.

We went to Opening Night 2024 at Churchill Downs. It was a great night. I enjoyed the night racing. However,they need to improve on their food concessions. We spent $65 for 2 burgers,bratwurst, and sprite. There was no lettuce,tomatoes on burgers. We couldn't get mustard or ketchup either,and fries were cold. For the price you pay,they should have a condiment station at least.

There are few greater places in the entire world than the Legendary Churchill Downs.Fortunes have been won, and fortunes have been lost.At times, the rush of nostalgia will rush over you, coupled with the roar of the crowd, and the thunderous stampede of the thoroughbreds down the back stretch.Memories are made here that last a lifetime.The sun always shines bright at this Ole Kentucky home.And you ain't never been anywhere, or seen anything, until you've witnessed a Kentucky Derby in person.

My wife and I toured this well-known site in late February and unfortunately, it was cold and windy. But we were still able to walk through the stands to the finish line and the guide braved the nasty weather to give us some interesting tidbits and insider info. The museum is also a must-see, especially if you are a horse racing enthusiast. The museum offers a well-rounded history of Churchill Downs, the horses that have run there as well as the jockeys, trainers, and other workers who made the Kentucky Derby world famous. I’d love to see a race here!

The museum was actually much bigger than I thought it would be and much more interesting that I thought it would be so I ended up thinking it was worth the money to get in. It also included a tour down to the stands which was pretty cool to see and able to see the track up close as just part of the basic tour is a very cool place to go with a lot of history.

Home of the most famous race in the world the Kentucky Derby. I would have loved to go to one of the races but I came here in the off season when there were no races running at all. There are a lot of different tours to go on: Backstretch Workout Tour, Barn and Backside Tour, Black Heritage in Racing Tour, Bourbon and Bridles Experience, Race Day Experience, Hermitage Farm and Derby Museum Tour, Ultimate Churchill Downs Tour, Throughbred Workout Tour, Superstars and Spires tour (I really wanted to go to this one but it was sold out), Guided Track Visit. I went to this last one, you got to see the track as well as the grandstand. Nice quick tour if you aren't a big fan or in a pinch for time but I definitely recommend the other tours if you are a big fan.

An amazing experience to watch a live Horse race. You can't imagine how good a vibe is created during the horse race. We bought tickets in advance. We watched almost all the races that day. Very good experience. There were plenty of food courts inside. Next year, we are planning to go there to experience the Kentucky Derby that has almost 170,000 viewers. In Louisville, this place is a must visit.

Went here for Kentucky derby 2023 and it was a great time! Highly recommend a box seat and near the finish line. Drinks and food were basic but all inclusive. Cigars cost extra. Definitely a great once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent tour and was amazing to see this historic place in person. A shame I wasn't born when Secretariat run the Derby in 1973. His record still stands. There is a beautiful display about him on the second floor of the museum adjacent to Churchill Downs.

2024 opening day at Churchill downs. Very organized this year. Signs on Taylor boulevard navigated me to the Blue parking pot were my ticket was valid to park. There was plenty of parking still available as well as handicap. I was close to the entrance but still had a goal cart rode for free to the door. I went to a gala in the Trophy room on the 6th floor. The attendants are not very knowledgeable about navigating to the right places. But overall I jad a blast and Churchill downs gets better and better every year.

We showed up and did the Barns and Backside tour, which is an hour, then did the walking tour an hour after that concluded. Really great tours. We went to the museum in between the tours and saw the greatest race movie. Currently a lot of construction but it'll be great once it's done. Highly recommend the tours. The barns and backside gets you to the other side of the track, which is nice, but I wish we could have walked into the barn area, although I understand why we couldn't. Great experience.

A very affordable and informative tour. I was able to ask questions of the guide both during and after the tour. The amount of knowledge he had was incredible. We got to walk out to the track and see where it is that the horses run. Hard to believe more than 150k people can fit!Outside of the tour, the museum has so much available information for you to read and go through. There are incredible artifacts and interactive features to engage with. We really enjoyed the 360° video experience as well.

Lots of history and a great location to visit even if you are not totally an avid fan and follower of horse racing. The tour and museum will give you a solid understanding of the sport, both past and present. I recommend anyone coming to do one of the two tours available to get the most of your trip here. Just simply walking around the museum is not enough. The tours are between 1-1hr 30 min and you can either tour the grandstand and spectator areas or the stalls for the horses.

Very interesting place about Derby History, you have to take the tour to the barns to see the horses but you have to be older than 8 years old. The history tour is very interesting and it was so cool to hear about the history and care they give to the horses definitely a must seen spot of Louisville 😉

Worth stopping to see even if passing through. The 18 minutes video plays every hour. You can watch it from the second floor or inside the room. I recommend getting to museum at top of the hour to watch The Greatest Race for better appreciation of the museum if you know little to none on this American tradition.The walking tour is great. Tour guide was high in spirits, knowledgeable, and respectful to keep guest in shade on a hot day.

Book in advance!!! We woke up Saturday morning and decided we would add this to our list for the day. The website showed all times for the tour were still available, so I decided to wait until we got there, since I wasn't sure when we'd arrive. We got there about 2pm and all the tours were full. We still paid full price to see the museum. Plenty of free parking was available! There is a lot to see and do in this small museum. Very informative! My daughter loved the exhibits and being hands on with racing equipment. Secretariat’s exhibit was amazing! The employees were very friendly! The store was a bit over priced and very small. The café closed at 3pm which seemed kind of early too for me.

Visited Churchill Downs at Louisville, Kentucky. Loved the museum and watched the history of Churchill Downs too in a 360 degree auditorium screen. Had taken the tour too to see where the most attended and most watched horse race takes place in the United States. Would love to come back to Churchill Downs in May to watch the Derby in person. One can buy different memorabilia from the gift shop too.

Came to the Kentucky Derby Museum on a whim, ended up having an amazing time! Johnny Bourbon behind the bar was a real gem! He made the made the museum experience exceptional for both the kids and big kids alike. Everyone working at the museum was awesome. Highly recommend the museum and the bourbon bar, ask for Johnny Bourbon!

I visited the museum as part of its annual Horses and Haunts Tour during October. Our guides Heather and Molly were excellent guides, providing a lot of history to this native and Derby attendee (for 45+ years)! It was super cool to see the track at night and hear these stories under the hallowed spires. Highly recommend visiting the museum and taking advantage of this tour every October!

Great museum with helpful staff. Be sure to sign up for the track tour, it's included in your ticket. If you love horse racing I would plan to spend a few hours here. Staff was helpful and gave great suggestions of exciting past Derby races to watch. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Highly recommend visiting for horse racing fans. Girl Scouts have an opportunity to earn a patch here as well.

This is a must if you are in Louisville and are interested in the history of horse racing. Our tour guide Max was wonderful- we took a chance on the day that we went and were blessed to have seen an actual horse race which was for selling of the horses. There is a lot of history- we highly recommend that when you take the tour you ask as many questions as you possibly can as it makes it more interesting for both you as a spectator and for the tour guides as well. The museum has a lot of information so plan to spend a good amount of time there. It is also interesting for kids of all ages - there are video horse races that you can choose your own horse and ride and control the horse, there are life-size mannequins and horses of great history and there is even a mock starting gate for you to climb onto a horse for a great photo opportunity. Should you get a bit hungry there is the Derby Cafe where you can get a quick bite to eat however check for when it is open as it was closed on Sunday which we were aware of and plan for accordingly. Highly recommend

Loved it! Did one of the tours, so worth it. Make sure to book a tour ahead of time. Would love to go back to do one of the other tours that were already sold out on our only day there. The museum was neat to walk around. Also, I loved the movie, got me a little emotional.

Really cool to be on the grounds of something that you've only seen on TV completely packed with people. The museum gave a great history of the race, the grounds, the horses and the jockeys. The 360 degree movie was super heartwarming and a great addition to the museum. The track tour was cool. The facts about the grounds were very interesting. There is a lot of construction going on right now so the cranes and such were in a lot of my photos. The staff helping in the front were not super friendly or helpful with providing what was available that day. The entire thing was definitely something to see, not sure if I'll be back again.

A must see for everyone! A fantastic way to explore the rich beauty of the Thoroughbred racehorse and the splendor of the Kentucky Derby. This is a wonderful attraction for all ages. Even if you don't follow the sport, I would recommend a visit. If you love horse racing, you will be in heaven!The short film, " The Greatest Race" is stunning! I might be addicted because I kept going back to watch it. Warning, it may give you goosebumps and a sudden urge to buy a racehorse!Let's not forget, there is a gift shop. I absolutely loved the displays. The products are quality and the prices are reasonable.Oh, and I must mention one of the most important parts... The customer service is excellent! The staff is friendly, fun and knowledgeable. They will make you feel right at home.Take my advice, just go and enjoy yourself!

If your a horse person this is a must stop. We stopped here on our way up to Indianapolis and I am glad we did. We really enjoyed all the history there as well as seeing where secretariat raced at as well as other famous horses. We for sure be back soon

Fantastic museum. The movie at the beginning of the tour is wonderful. Would have loved to see more of Churchill Downs. The regular tour just takes you to one spot in the stands and that's all.

We were visiting from out of state and specifically stopped in this area to visit Churchill Downs. There were not races at the time, but we did visit the museum and I will say it was amazing, even my non-horsey family enjoyed this experience. If you plan to visit, I would recommend purchasing tickets prior to arrival, this will ensure you are not spending a long amount of time in line, it will also preserve your space to see the track tour which is awesome. The docents that walk you into the track have years of Churchill Downs track experience and love sharing their experiences and track history with you. The visual inside the track is beautiful and a great picture opportunity. If you get an early enough walk through you may get to see horses working out on the track. Also, while there be sure to watch the track movie. It is extremely well done and touching if you are at all interested in horses, horse racing, or are just the idea.The museum is two floors with the first floor dedicated to track and track racing history. The second floor is dedicated to exhibits about Secretariat (racehorse), D. Wayne Lukas (trainer), and Bill Shoemaker (jockey), they are all very well done.I would also recommend, at the end of your visit, taking a stop into their cafe and try out a Mint Julip and one of their sandwiches.Overall, this was a great experience at $20/person, I would definitely recommend visiting this gorgeous museum.

An amazing place to visit. We went there this mid-week in a large group and bought tickets in advance. The experience was very good. We learned many things about the Kentucky Derby and all of its history. All the guides were super friendly and cordial. We had the guided tour which was a very unique experience to learn and visit this museum. There was a 360 degree movie called "The Greatest Race" included in the tour. That was a unique experience to have. There was a gift shop there that has a large variety of souvenirs and hats. Overall, this museum is very good to explore. If you get the chance to explore Louisville in Kentucky, I would definitely suggest having this in your list.

As people who aren't into horse racing we weren't sure if we would like this museum. Definitely glad we went. It was far more enjoyable than I ever expected. Made me want to go see a horse race the next time we are in town.

Super cool place! I have never taken a tram car thru a cavern before. Our guide was great, too. He explained everything in the cavern and how it was created. It was interesting enough down there to keep my 11 month old grandson occupied. I definitely will be back!FYI, I have night vision on my phone. It is a lot darker than it looks...

We had a great time here. We decided on the walking tour, and it was pretty fun. The guide Olivia did a great job. It is a little pricey for what it is, but we are glad we did it. It is so neat down there. It is amazing how large it actually is in person. The entrance is a little weird, and we weren't sure we were in the right place. It is a long hallway that looks abandoned, but eventually opens up to the cave.

According to the owners quote, they "transform it into a holiday light spectacular for the Christmas season. "If you consider displays of Marvel's avengers, Mario brothers, minions, and tanks to be part of the Christmas season, then I guess the quote is right.Only about half of the 15 minute drive through was holiday-themed. It seems like the rest of it was put into place just as a filler.Not to say it wasn't neat, but it's not as neat as they make it.

The Louisville Mega Cavern tour proved to be a regrettable experience, particularly disappointing for several reasons. First and foremost, my visit did not coincide with the Christmas season, meaning that all the festive lights were packed away except for a few stray decorations lingering visibly, adding to the overall dreariness.Furthermore, the cavern itself is not a natural formation, which diminished the excitement right from the start. The tour primarily focused on the cavern's history as a fallout shelter and a storage site for salt, interspersed with some rather dull videos. This narrative did little to enhance the experience, leaving me questioning the value of the tour.The worst part, however, was the environment within the cavern. The air was thick with a dust reminiscent of a construction site, making it uncomfortable and raising concerns about its quality. Throughout the tour, the main sights were abandoned vehicles, sealed-off doors, and a collection of low-quality props—hardly the engaging or educational content one might expect.Spending $20 and an hour of my time in an artificially excavated, dusty cavern observing these lackluster displays was frustrating. With the money and time at hand, almost any other destination would have provided a better experience. This was the first time I truly felt someone dared to charge $20 for a tour of what felt like a vast, polluted parking garage. The disappointment was profound, and I would strongly advise against this tour for anyone looking for a meaningful or enjoyable outing.

The zip line tour is so cool, we’re big zip line fans and doing everything in the dark with bright lights was something new and we had a really good time. The tour guides make you feel confident and safe about the whole experience. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Excellent tour with our tour guide Skeeter. Skeeter did a good job of providing us with laughs while also giving us the history of the caverns.My family and I chose the Tram tour since we have a small child. It is cool in the cavern but not cold. We were fine with a light jacket.It's not really a lot to see if you don't Zipline or do more of the exciting attractions. Kids might get a little bored on the tram.It is a huge place, I think about 17 miles and the tram is about 2 miles long. It's a unique experience and one I'd definitely say to give a try.

We came here to do the Mega Quest aerial adventure course! The guides explained everything well and were friendly and helpful. We felt completely safe and confident in using our gear, the belays are easy and intuitive to use. I liked that it wasn’t a linear course, and you could go through it at your own pace and choose which routes to take. The short zip lines in it were our favorite! You’re also allowed to leave the course at any time to take a break and remove your helmet and gloves, just don’t take off your harness because then you are done. You get two hours on the course which was more than enough time, we even ended up finishing a little early because we were so sore!I recommend short sleeves because you get really sweaty, however personally I’d recommend long pants because with all the ropes on the course, I did get a couple small rope scrapes. Nothing terrible, just keep that in mind!There are lockers to store anything you don’t want to take/wear on the course, but it takes quarters so make sure you bring cash or prepare to use the on site ATM that charges a fee. Make sure to have cash to tip your guides too! They’re working hard for you!We live in Ohio but I’d love to come back some day to try the full zip line course or the tram tour!

I purchased the Mega Tram ticket since I was already doing so much walking on my vacation. I called before hand and was told that the Mega Tram and the Mega Walking tours covered the same route. Our tour guide was great and made jokes along the way. The cavern was a pleasant temperature since I visited on the hottest day of the year. Definitely worth seeing if you want a break from the heat of summer but not what I would consider over the top exciting or a must-see. I like caves and caverns so I enjyed it.

We had a walking tour with Sophia. The tour was informative and interesting. There are a lot of cool facts and funny jokes as you go along.Some cool lights to see as well in the dark.The space could have more cool displays added with time. The adventure gym seems cool and the zip liners seemed to have fun.

Much cooler than I expected! Mega Cavern is an old limestone mine that is massive. It has some interesting history as well once being a fallout shelter. Now it is a driving tour, adventure area, zip line tour, light show and even commercial storage. Worth the visit!

This was an absolutely amazing experience for the whole family. There's a display for everyone. Dinosaurs, Christmas scenes, marvel comics characters, heavy machinery, veterans, Disney and other characters, America/USA, and amazing light shows at several places. Very entertaining and we will definitely be back again. We'll probably take the guided wagon ride through next time just for the better view!

Well worth the cost. Lots to do while waiting. I was disappointed in the gift shop. They seem to have cut back after Covid. Our tour guide was very informative. In the picture of the original caverns look close and see a man standing in the original 60 foot high cavern. They hauled in 40 feet of fill.

So much fun! Everything started on time and we were with a great group. The guides Abby and Bambie so sweet, clear about what was needed for the zip parts and had fun comments to add in. We had a blast.

We did the walking tour and it was pretty cool - the lights make it fun and it’s interesting to hear the history of the cavern. Our guide talked a LOT - could be good for people who enjoy awkward jokes and hearing the same voice non-stop, but it wasn’t for us. Might have been better with a different guide. Entrance is through a long hallway, just keep going even if it feels like you’re not at the right place.

We visited, and went on the walking tour through the Cavern, which is very much worth adding to your list of things to see/do while visiting Louisville. We explored the Cavern with a guide named Sophia, who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. At the end of the tour I asked how many times she had walked the cavern/given the tour. Expecting her answer to be in the hundreds, I was amazed to hear that it was her very first solo tour through the Cavern. She did an absolutely incredible job, and we left with a great bit of interesting information regarding the history of the Cavern, and would absolutely visit again.

More then worth the drive. The kids loved it and it was just enough time spent driving thru before it became too much. Xmas Eve was the right time to go and the price wasn't overpriced by any means. Music and lights were fabulous

A very unique display of lights, nothing compares. If you have your tickets on your phone, there's no reception in the cave at the attendant, so maybe take a picture of it, they do have your name so not a problem

10/10 recommend for families. Eat before you arrive (Wendy’s, coffee shop, and Kroger near entrance). No outside food at cave. No good food options in cave. Bring cash to tip. Buy tickets in advance. Lockers available for $1.

Absolutely loved it. We went on a weekday and got there around 10:30 to 11:00. There was no wait and we drove right in. The beginning was good and it just kept getting better and better as we went through. The finale at the end was the best experience. I highly recommend it for both kids and adults as there's plenty to see for both.

Totally awesome tour and definitely worth it. All of my kids enjoyed it. The free mini bat is a nice touch either. Keeping four boys from poking each other with them is a different story. After the tour you get to see the museum which has some nice extra items in it. We came on a holiday on the fourth of July weekend and only had to wait 10 minutes for a tour to start.

If you like baseball history you will luv this place. They give you a great tour of the factory where they make 4000 bats per day. They also have lots of pro baseball items you can buy that are signed. At the end of the tour you get a free souvenir bat. You can use the batting cages or check out the bat cave and gift shop. Ez parking.

As a former baseball player, it was a really cool experience to see where these bats are made. Also, the amount of time and dedication they take to craft each one. It was also cool to bat in the cages to test out different players' bats. I would definitely recommend it to someone who played baseball before or someone who appreciates woodworking!

Nice space with some free exhibits, but if you want to enter the museum portion and/or do the tour, there is a fee.I think the tour is a must try for fans. It was interesting to hear about and see the process. AND they give you a mini bat of your own at the end of the tour. When we went early in the morning, there was no wait for the tour, BUT when my friend wanted to do the tour later in the day, she would have had to wait about 1.5 hour for her tour group. So, buy the tour ticket early if you plan to attend around the noon time.

If you you baseball and its history, this is a place you must visit! The visit includes a tour inside the factory where you can see how bats are made. The exhibitions are simply amazing! You can hold a bat that belonged to Babe Ruth in 1933, you can see bats from Joe Di Magio, Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson, Roger Maris, Tyler Cobb, and some other legends. You can buy nice souvenirs at the gift store and even get a customized bat. I highly recommend this museum.

This was a pretty cool tour as it was in a real production facility where they are not afraid to show off the pride of their product. Overall, it is always cool to support a family business even if it is a big one. Pro tip: they give everyone who takes the tour a mini bat which saves on souvenirs for large family groups. Pro tip #2: they laser print all types of bats for gifts and it is pretty quick.

Fantastic place if you even have a remote interest in baseball. I would say if you enjoy watching stuff get made or are into woodworking you would enjoy the place. The tour guide did a great job explaining what was on the factory floor. The museum had great exhibits and you can even hold bats used by the greats of the game.

Great tour, even for those that are not baseball fans. Understanding the entire process and watching them mill the bats and varnish them by hand was fun. Highly recommend for all ages.

An essential part of the Louisville visitor experience! While I enjoy the sport, I confess I'm not that into baseball - but this was such a fascinating experience and should not be missed. We needed a stop on our road-trip from MN to Panama City Beach to break it up and stretch our legs and let me tell you this didn’t Disappoint!! Our teenage kids Loved stopping here and doing the tour! They were all very happy that we decided to do it! As parents that was a success! Best part is, Each person got a Mini Bat as keepsake with Tour Ticket Cost! No need to spend anymore in gift shop! 2-4-1 ⚾️

We really enjoyed this place! Great tour and I learned so much! I'm not a baseball fan, yet the rich history of the game, the process of making the bats, and learning about the players was incredibly interesting. I definitely recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed. We also got customized bats made. Very reasonably priced and it was only about a 15-20 minute wait.

I think this is a must see quick trip to see a working piece of history. Tour lasts about 30 minutes and you have to be assigned to a tour time. Awesome to see the inner workings of how the Louisville Slugger bat is created. There are other things to look at and learn including a batting cage. I was in and out in an hour and felt good about my time spent. Check it out while in Louisville.

This was worth the whole trip! We bought tickets the night before for the first tour on a Friday. So much cool stuff! The tour was cool because you were right inside the factory where they make the bats! They let you take all the pictures you wanted and hold all types of bats! And at the end of the tour they give you a miniature slugger bag to take home! Big souvenir shop! I would go again!

Really fun for families and baseball fans. The tour is easy and is with a guide. You walk through different setups in the factory and they play short videos with more information. At the end you get a mini slugger, watch out for everyone who gets super lit to get them - they start swinging.There are other parts to visit including a history area with mannequin/statues of famous players. They also have a bat room. And the batting cage is fun if you have the time.

This place is beyond AWESOME! Where else in the world can you get a picture of yourself holding Babe Ruth's actual bat? A must see if you visit Louisville and you get a free mini bat at the end of the tour!

My wife has talked about Louisville Slugger Museum for as long as I've known her. It has an extremely strong anchor to baseball, especially professional baseball. All the majors, leagues and players, get their bats from here. It is where their bats are made. At this museum, you can see how bats are made, from the selection of the tree to the cut and shape of the bats. It features a tour of the factory itself and ends with its own museum of baseball history. It is a fascinating tour for anyone, whether you are interested in baseball or not. It is a highly recommended tour of Americana.

This is fun place for baseball fan especially for a hitter. You can watch how a baseball bat was made from a log to a famous product. You truly walked into the factory to see it. The museum part also exhibits lots of MLB famous batters! At the end of the factory tour, you'll receive a mini hand bat as a souvenir. A Place for all ages and family fun!! Recommended!!

Greeted by the World's Largest Baseball Bat right out of the museum. I ended up taking the tour here and they show you beginning to end, the production of the bat. Starting from the piece of wood, how it was cut back in the day. Nowadays with machinery, you see how quick production can be. You get to see every step of the way from the carving of the machine, to a slope test, to the sanding machine and then they are finished in with some paint. Lastly some are branded and then ready to go for use! Overall nice tour and you get a small souvenir bat out of it. Very nice!

This is a great American Historical site. The Great American Ball Game, was "shaped" and influenced by the production of these bats. We loved learning the history, and seeing how these bats were made.

Great museum and if you're a lover of baseball, then this is a must do! The tour includes walking through the actual factory while the bats are being made, which I found to be the best part of the tour. The tour guide also went into the science of how they're put together. You also get to take home a nice token... you guess it, a miniature Louisville slugger bat.

Highly recommend you visit if your into baseball at all. I'm not a baseball fan but enjoyed it. They also have a batting cage and small 20min movie about the bats.

I’m a big baseball fan and I really enjoyed the tour! Learning about where the wood is sourced and seeing a bat being made was very special. After the tour you can go to the batting cage and try out bats that are replicas of the pros both current and historic. My favorite bat is Hank Aaron’s, I had to try Babe Ruth’s bat too, it’s HUGE and hard to swing.If you don’t have time for the whole tour you can just go to the batting cage and gift shop. There also a movie that talks about the history of the game and Louisville Sluggers roll. I’ll be back again!

This is a great place to take your kiddos, my girls loved the water spouts. A must go to recreational park.

We got married at the Gheens Foundation Lodge, and it was amazing. Toni and her team were pleasant and helpful, and the venue was so beautiful. We had plenty of space, their vendor team is strong, and they did a wonderful job of setting the space up perfectly for us. We couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else, and we would do it again in a heartbeat!

What a beautiful park! There are great open spaces, access to trails and natural areas, and a dog park. There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly.There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room.If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.

The Parklands of Floyd's Fork is a treasure to have on the outskirts of Jefferson County. We have visited each of the five parks that make up the The Parklands. It's a beautiful park just a few minutes drive from much of Jefferson County. Hiking, kayaking, nature watching, water parks, water fountains, PNC Education Center, & so much more. They have numerous field trip opportunities for our local schools, going above & beyond to ensure all children can experience a unique park system. It'll be well worth a visit to their website to check out everything The Parklands offer. The park rangers, staff educators, & maintenance staff are awesome. Plan a visit as soon as possible, you'll love it.

I call it pesticide park. Smells 2-3 days a week and they don’t mind spraying next to the kiddos soccer practice. Disgusted at the park management decisions. Quit polluting Floyd’s fork with toxic chemicals.

Love the park...but had an issue with Ranger buddy tonight. The first time he passed us at an inappropriate speed in his truck was on the trail between the soccer field lot and the snack stand. Yes i had a 9year old on a bike that i had to get into the grass because a ford ranger doesn't belong on those trails especially not at his rate of speed. The second time he passed was on the small road between the parking lots with him going about double the speed limit.So when I saw him chatting it up in the parking lot I walked up and as politely as I had available told him "work here or not you need to chill out with your speed" and instead of any regrets or apologies he ran his mouth. Apparently he was the first responder to someone who left a bookbag at a bathroom. He fancies himself police/fire (his words) gave me his name and told me to call who ever I would like.I hope you have great insurance for when this guy takes out a kid. I take mine to the parklands to avoid the idiots in trucks...

Would like to give a big SHOUT OUT to the Parkland folks who worked hard to put on a fun and educational EARTH DAY event. The combination of food vendors, a beer vendor, a tree give-away, live music at the Pavilion, music throughout the Moss Gibbs Woodland area with violin, dulcimer and flute, trivia game and multiple other vendors, made for a Special Event. While Beckley Creek and Pope Lick Parks are beautiful, Turkey Run Park and especially Broad Run arem more of what many of us go to a park for. Peace and tranquility. They all have great hiking and biking trails but those two are the best. BC and BR both have spraygrounds and playgrounds so that is sure to please the little visitors. They all open at sunrise and close at sundown. The Parklands website is a fountain of info on what they have to offer. As well as the few rules they have.

This park has a great bicycle and mountain bike trail system. Also good for just about anything else recreational Outdoors. Floyds Fork is a beautiful Creek that can be paddled in the spring and after heavy rains in the summer. This park is an absolute gem in Louisville Kentucky. I truly would like to thank city of Louisville for putting these 5 parks together.

Huge, beautiful park with miles of paved and unpaved trails. Great place for social distancing with numerous creek access points, bike riding, walking, jogging, canoeing/kayacking, fishing ... Take your fur baby for a walk then have a picnic!

The best winery I have been to so far! The food was delicious, the wine was extraordinary, the market, ice cream, swans oh so much to do, I should have picked blueberries!! Worth a visit!!

We had a great day ar Huber's. Purchases some preserves and baked goods. We had a wonderful wine tasting experience with Ken. He was very knowledgeable about our choice of wines and the winery.We purchased a case of wine!

We brought the kids just to have a day outside and pick pumpkins and apples. Hadn’t been since a child and I believe there’s two locations now. We ate at the restaurant and went to the play area before doing the fruit picking options . Food at the restaurant was decent but not delicious like I remember it and not worth the price in my opinion but I think they have a Huber restaurant at the other location with more home style food. We had burgers and chicken strips at this place . Smaller kids can definitely run around and use up their energy. They charge you by pound for the apples you pick so if you go with a family be mindful . My family enjoyed the fish pond the most . May come back with just her so we can try wine tasting and just relax with great views. It’s beautiful land and everyone should visit at least once. The drinks and home made snacks and cider were hits for us as well, riding on the traitor was my favorite part on a hot day, the breeze is amazing lol wear comfortable clothes and shoes !

Stopped in for a wine tasting while in town visiting my parents. Beautiful property and establishment. Had a great wine tasting and definitely will be back when I visit next. Took home the their lakeside white, sweet stella di luce, and limestone white blend as my top three but others were good too. My step dad did the spirits tasting and I'd love to try some of their co*cktails. Sipped his black raspberry bourbon liqueur and it was delicious.

Ken at the tasting bar is the absolute best. Very informative going over the tasting menu and we even got to have an extra taste of one of the newer wines they have to offer. Wine Down Wednesday was a success!!

What a great find just a short drive from Louisville KY. Great wine and spirits along with a wonderful staff of 8 generations! My fav was the apple sparkling wine ! Hubby loved the blackberry whiskey. Shared lots of area suggestions with us. They also have a bakery nextdoor and the bread was fabulous. Lots of homemade goodies. Ice cream shop and picnic area also on site ! Will visit again. Highly highly recommend!

So much to do at this place. Orchards and patches, markets and shops. Something for everyone, including the kids. Bamboo and corn mazes, slides, inflatable, racetracks... The winery and distillery are great. Youll easily spend a whole day here. There are several restaurants in the grounds too.

My wife and I visited Hubers Orchard about a month ago and had the best time! We only expected to be there for an hour or two and ended up staying four hours. They have a winery with 15 dollar tastings but you get to pick 7-8 wines or spirts. Also they have a general store with fresh produce and other goodies. On top of that the parking was free and the hay rides were free (or at least it was when we went). Before we left I got some of their ice cream and my wife got their coffee (they were delicious). We definitely plan on visiting again sometime!

We did a barrel tasting tour with John and had the best time! John did a great job and was so informative. The spirits were delicious. We were very impressed. I highly recommend the tour and John!

We visited this place in October 2023 and I thought it was one of the best places I have ever seen. We tasted wine, enjoyed live music, ate and bought local products that the farm itself produces. We picked apples, tried the best pecan pie ever, bought cheese bread, orange marmalade and apple cider vinegar. One of the best experiences for me and my family that you could have once you visit Jasper, Indiana

Patty gave us a wonderful wine tasting! She was very informative and a delight to talk to. The wine was amazing and we left with 3 bottles. Highly recommend this as a must-do activity for anyone visiting from out of town or even a fun time with friends and family. The fall harvest decorations were gorgeous and Huber’s was selling the most perfect pumpkins I have ever seen. We will definitely be back before fall is over to go pick pumpkins!

Picked punkins and apples. Ate the buffet,excellent. Buffet and drinks four people for 80 dollars. Hard to beat for an authentic home-cooked meal. Shopped and fed fish. Be careful!! I always spend too much money shopping here. Blackberry pie was 16 dollars, loaf of homemade cinnamon bread for 10$ we love this place!

This place has always been fun and just keeps getting better over the years. I went when I was a kid and with both my oldest on school field trips. So much for adults to do and children. The cherry on top is the scenery.

Love this place. My wife and I have been wine club members for several years. They have live music on the patio area, food to eat and a couple bottles of wine. Always well kept and clean. Staff is always friendly. The Family Fun Park is excellent for the kids. They have a plenty to keep them busy for several hours. We will be back soon.
